About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. I’m home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout and spot for their bed. The ilving room has multiple sunny spots for napping throughout the day. We will take several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
“I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Caitlin. I needed a last-minute drop in as our plans had suddenly changed and I’m so happy we chose Caitlin. She was responsive, flexible, prompt, and catered to about 14 special requests. She kept us updated during her entire stay and sent ADORABLE pictures and videos. If you’re looking for a responsible, kind, dog-loving person to help you out, look no further! Our dogs LOVED her, too!”

“Stefanie has been a wonderful sitter for my boy. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking for a reliable, professional pet sitter. She is personable and prompt in her responses.”

“Karen did an excellent job. I returned home after four days to find everything in good order and a very happy kitty cat. I will certainly go to Karen again for cat care.”

About: I grew up with two dogs (Rocky and Sammie) and have cared for many family and friend’s dogs. My aunt owns a foster company and I learned to care for dogs through her. I have experience with senior care as well as special care/diet needs. Happy to help! I currently work in Harwich a couple days a week but am flexible most days. I have a car and am able to travel to help out! I am able to read an animals needs and give as much or as little attention as the animal needs. I am okay with animals being on my furniture but understand this behavior is not allowed with certain dogs. I will respect the requests of each owner and love being active if needed.
About: With a lifelong passion for dogs, I bring years of dedicated pet care experience to ensure your furry companions thrive. As a proud owner of two happy, healthy rescue dogs, I understand the importance of love, patience, and a safe environment in fostering their well-being. Your pets are not just animals; they're family, and I'm here to provide the care and attention they deserve. I am currently taking some time off from the 9 to 5 grind so I have a great deal of flexibility and willingness to accommodate your schedule! I have a large fenced in yard and a very dog- friendly home complete with strategically placed baby gates for any canine guests requiring space from my fur-babies ❤️
About: I’m a lifelong pet and dog lover with a 7 year-old female spayed lab, Ellie, of my own. I’ve cared for family, friends, and neighbor’s dogs for more than 25 years. My Ellie is very calm, friendly, highly socialised, and great with other dogs and children of all ages. I work from home and operate a licensed family daycare with success for more than 25 years. I have weekends off where I have plenty of time to take walks with my own dog and others. I am available for over night dog stays at that time also. My work area is separate, but I have a large fenced in yard with grass. My own dog plays with the children outside, but mostly stays upstairs when we are in. My Ellie often prefers the couch over her dog bed, and I’m fine with that. 😊 I have a completely fenced in backyard where the dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise, but are never outside alone. My dog Ellie loves playing with other dogs and has a portable ‘doggy pool’ when it’s hot and plenty of shade. If your dog enjoys the comfort of their crate or special bed, feel free to bring them along.Home also has central air to keep your fury ones cool. All drop off and pick ups has to be by 7PM

“Marie gives us peace of mind when we have to be away for long periods during a day/evening. We know Sunny is getting attention and enjoys being with Marie - sometimes we wonder if she enjoys Marie more than us. :))”
“We are grateful and appreciate the care that Sally gave to our cat Sophie while we were away. We returned home to a relaxed kitty. Sophie is an old cat. We've had her for two years, and have never left her for longer than twelve hours. We would recommend Sally to anyone who has to leave their pet overnight. Sally also took the time before we even booked with Rover to determine whether the best care for Sophie would be drop in visits or care in Sally's home. The decision was drop in care. Thank you Sally.”
“Chelsea was fantastic. We have a crew of dogs, all with very different needs and Chelsea gave each of them exactly what they needed. We could not recommend her more highly. Simply, she is great.”

“Sharon was great! Our dogs were happy and safe when we got home. We were super grateful that she could accommodate our timing and for giving us local guidance on travel times. Sharon clearly loves dogs and is a true find!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 which is when I got my first puppy! Family and friends have always relied on me to walk, feed and play with their furry friends as they were away for work or vacation. During my senior year in high school, my senior project was dedicated to fight animal cruelty. For 9 months, I volunteered for an animal shelter where I used to play and take care of the dogs, as well as initiated fundraisers to help local shelters. I’m currently working full time from Monday-Friday, however I can accommodate my schedule to provide the best experience for you and your furry friend! I am available from Monday-Friday starting from 5pm for drop off visits or walks/play dates. I am also available on the weekends at any time. Care for your little friend will be provided according to client’s request/directions. Only on leash walks will be provided for the safety of your pet 🙂 If allowed, we can go for dog park visits and trail walks. Prior to our walks/drop in visits, I would love to set a time to meet you and your dog, so we can familiarize with each other and provide the most comfortable experience!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
