About: I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so spending time with animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities taught me that every animal has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust goes into leaving a furry family member with someone else. That's why I take the time to stick to their routine, pay attention to the little details, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you're away. Whether they're full of energy, a little timid, or simply happiest relaxing at home, I'll meet them where they are and treat them like part of my own family. My goal is for you to return to a happy companion and feel confident knowing they were in caring, dependable hands. Fortunately, the summer schedule has allowed me to be wide open for any boarding and day drop ins as needed. Plus, I have my own animals, so pet care is an everyday routine in my household. I have a large fenced in yard and a goofy doggo to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog and/or mine if needed.
“Olivia is great. She had a minor emergency when she first arrived. Contacted me immediately and we were able to resolve the issue quickly. Am looking forward to her taking care of our cat again next month..”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 11 years old. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while away. This includes dogs, cats, and birds! I have experience raising 3 Brittanys throughout my life as well as 1 pig. I have administered medications to multiple pets throughout my time pet sitting. I am available Monday through Thursdays. Whether you need early mornings or late night walks or visits. I am currently dog walking/ pet sitting on the side right now. Safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior, monitor for any signs of illness or stress, and follow all instructions provided by the owner. I treat every home with respect and provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are well cared for.
“Sarah was punctual and took wonderful care of Penny and Pepper (aka pippa). She put my mind at ease with regular updates and snapshots which I loved! I definitely recommend her and plan to book with her again.”

About: I’ve had a family dog my whole life, and my fiancé and I hope to have our own someday. Since we’re not able to right now, I get my dog fix through Rover! I’ve been active on Rover for over a year, doing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting pretty consistently. I love getting to care for all different kinds of dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time Monday–Friday from 8:30–4:30, with a lunch break where I can run home if needed. I’m always available on weekends and usually spend that time going on long walks, so I’m happy to include pets in my weekend plans! I treat every pet like my own! I follow their routine, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

My schedule is extremely flexible, making me available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, and I also have experience and a genuine love for cats, small animals, reptiles, birds, and even fish! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I would treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to become a trusted sitter for you and your pets, and I would absolutely love to meet you and your furry, feathered, or scaly family members! I currently work part-time at PetSmart, where I care for our small animals, fish, birds, and reptiles, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets. “Best cat sitter ever. She genuinely cares as if they were her own pets. I trust her 100% which gives me complete peace of mind when I'm away. Most importantly, "the boys" adore her!”

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was in highschool. I have taken care of 3 dogs at once and enjoy running around and bringing them on walks. I love to snuggle and give all my love to every pet! This will be my daily as well as weekly routine. Whatever anyone needs I am willing to be flexible to their pets and the families I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room to run around. I have a loving lab that would love to have a playmate. However I also have two extra rooms and will be willing to separate the dogs for whatever reason. Anything to make your fur baby feel more at home
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 which is when I got my first puppy! Family and friends have always relied on me to walk, feed and play with their furry friends as they were away for work or vacation. During my senior year in high school, my senior project was dedicated to fight animal cruelty. For 9 months, I volunteered for an animal shelter where I used to play and take care of the dogs, as well as initiated fundraisers to help local shelters. I’m currently working full time from Monday-Friday, however I can accommodate my schedule to provide the best experience for you and your furry friend! I am available from Monday-Friday starting from 5pm for drop off visits or walks/play dates. I am also available on the weekends at any time. Care for your little friend will be provided according to client’s request/directions. Only on leash walks will be provided for the safety of your pet 🙂 If allowed, we can go for dog park visits and trail walks. Prior to our walks/drop in visits, I would love to set a time to meet you and your dog, so we can familiarize with each other and provide the most comfortable experience!
About: I have many years experience with pet sitting, pet care, and walking. I have references from my past clients to provide to you. I believe I have a strong intuition for animals, which helps me to be attuned to their needs. I just love being around animals, so it brings me great joy to help pets and their owners alike. I have experience in both long term and short term stays. When I am pet sitting, I provide intensive care for the animals. We go on two long walks a day, or more if wanted/needed and if that is something the pet is interested in doing. I will provide play for them, and going out as frequently as they need/want. They will have their daily meals and fresh water. In the clients home, I care for the pets by following the pet's routine. and will talk at lengths with the home owners to get to know the environment and how the animals operate in the home, such as where and how they get let out ie if they can roam free in their yard etc, where they go for walks, what times of the day they eat etc .
About: I grew up always having a dog and other pets in our home. I absolutely love animals! When I was 19 I got my first dog on my own, Kyla she was a yellow lab and the love of my life. I am very flexible with my daily schedule as I can move my work hours around to fit my dog's clients needs. I don't bring dog's I am caring for to my house, as mine get too worked up! I can care for pet's in their home/yard and walk them from there. I also take some dogs to different trails, hikes, and dog parks. All up to the owner's preference! I am happy to do what works best :)
About: I've cared for pets of my own growing up, both dogs and cats. I have also worked at a local animal hospital so I do have some experience behind the scenes. I currently work an 8am-5pm job, Monday through Friday. So I’m available before and after work, as well as on the weekends. Weekends I’m more flexible about times I’m needed Depending on the owners own wishes, that would determine how I’d care for them! Clients before have left me a paper of instructions and I’ve found that to be very helpful. Always treating homes and pets with respect!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Barnstable
Karissa was absolutely fantastic! She responded quickly to my very last-minute request and was able to accommodate my dog on short notice, which was such a relief. Her communication was excellent from start to finish — she kept me updated throughout the walk and even sent videos so I could see how happy my pup was. It was clear she genuinely cared and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
