“Tyler was amazing with coral . She loved being at his home . Very responsive and sent pictures and videos every day . Can’t thank him enough . Would definitely use him again when I’m in the area.”

“This was our first time to use Rover and we are excited to share that we had a positive and pleasant experience with Alyssia and her family. As with most all pet owners, we were nervous about leaving our dog with someone we did not know. Alyssia was very helpful with the entire process which was great since this was our first-time using Rover. She was great with communication and sending us pictures of reassurance that Penny was being well cared for. Alyssia’s two daughters were the greatest friends to our dog. Also, their own dog, Bella, was super friendly and a fun companion. Our dog Penny is a nervous dog and is naturally shy around people & animals that she does not know. She also has some separation anxiety; but, none of that seemed to be an issue with the love she was given during her stay. If you are looking for a trusted caregiver and a place where your pet will be loved and treated well, we would highly recommend Alyssia and her family. We are confident in her care of our dog and will be utilizing her services again.”

“Erin is amazing! Her and her husband truly understand and love dogs! Our dog can be anxious when we leave so we can’t board her but being in a loving home, made all the difference! I highly recommend Erin!”

“Charity was very flexible with scheduling. She was prompt to respond to messages. Her place has plenty of room for the dogs to be active. We were sent pictures of Rosie while we were away and she had plenty of playtime during her stay. I will be using Charity again!”

“It has been such a pleasure and a relief to have left our girl with Kaitlyn and her family. The first time we left her with someone, it was such a sketchy experience that we weren’t sure we’d ever use Rover again. She was covered in fleas and she seemed to develop a bad habit or two. But now our faith has been restored! We got updates with pictures every day, she was clean and had playmates to keep her happy and busy too. I really hope we’re able to come back here if ever we need to ☺️.”

“Allison is the best! So thankful to have a sitter I can trust who loves my baby while I’m away. She is thorough, provides lots of updates and is fun and engaging.”

“Sandy was incredibly communicative, kind, and thoughtful. She helps with med administration and sent many pictures. My dog clearly enjoyed being with her and playing with her two cats. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Cyndie and her family took great care of my two furry family members. Cyndie is quick to communicate and shared photos while we were out of town. My doggies were right at home. :)”

“Misty is the best! My dog, Roxy usually doesn't eat when I am away, but she ate while being with Misty, and I could tell by the videos and pics that she enjoyed her time with Misty. I will definitely come back to her for the next trip.”

“Hayley was great with Diana! My dog came home a happy pup. She did a great job of sending lots of pictures and letting me know Diana was having fun. I loved that she had other dogs there to play with since she is an only child:) 10/10”

“Scott did another great job taking care of my dog! He was available on relatively short notice and was very conscientious of making sure my older dog's needs were met. My dog is always happy to go there when I have to go on vacation!”

“Ariel was a fantastic dog sitter for our dog, Patches! From the very first time we met her, she made us feel comfortable and confident that Patches would be in great hands. She took the time to ask questions about his needs and routine, and she was happy to answer all of ours as well. When we dropped Patches off, he was immediately comfortable and seemed right at home. Throughout his stay, Ariel kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how much fun he was having. It was clear that Ariel genuinely cared for Patches and treated him like one of her own. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a five-star dog sitter on Rover, Ariel is the one! We highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her with Patches again.”

“Scott took great care of Bruno and was very attentive to him. And was also patient with us as were late on both drop off and pickup and even gave us a free travel water bowl as a gift. Can definitely recommend Scott!”

“Such a great fit for us and our girls! Elizabeth was a perfect host making sure they felt at home. Her 2 pups are precious and played with ours. The videos were fun and reassuring. We will definitely be back! ??????????”

“Odette was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Fozzie. She sent me photos & videos of him happy and playing in the yard and with her dog, I was worried my dog wouldn’t want to come home! Great communication, would highly recommend! ☺️”

“Ruby seems to have had a blast with Brandon, his wife, and his doggos. We received updates and pictures during her visit. Brandon was incredibly accommodating with our schedule. He and his wife are such sweethearts. As Ruby seems to be missing them all, we will definitely be rebooking Brandon in the future.”

“Brynn did a wonderful job keeping our 16 year old Maize comfortable while we were out of town. Brynn shared some great photos keeping us informed. One would make a great Christmas card. Thank you again Brynn. Merry Christmas!”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hartsville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
