About: I grew up with a chihuahua who was part of our family for 11 years, and I currently help care for our 4-year-old rescued Australian shepherd/pit bull mix. I especially enjoy going on walks and getting to know each dog’s personality while hanging out. I graduated from UW–Madison in May and am currently in my gap year before starting medical school. While I’m applying for a gap year job, my schedule is pretty flexible on both weekdays and weekends right now! I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog who loves having company. He’s free to roam the house during the day and sleeps in a crate at night. I’m happy to follow a routine that works best for your dog.

About: I'm 63 and you can call me Frank! I have had and loved dogs since I was a kid. Okay, mom and dad did most of the work back then, but from my teenage years on I've housebroken and helped raise three of my dad's chihuahua's, the last of which we adopted when he passed ten years ago. She is still with us, along with my daughter's dog who also lives with us now! Also, my son's chihuahua puppy visits every two weeks or so! We are all very diligent with getting them on schedules, fed, walked and played-with regularly. My dad's almost 14 year old chihuahua still plays with the puppy, that tell you something? My pictures show a couple shots of our dogs on vacation with us in Gettysburg- they've also been to Canada, Ocean City, NJ and Lake Glory in the past ten years! We lost the Sheltie, Bella, in January but she had a great life, also pictured! We also had a Tabby named Stanley for 16 years, so I'm cat-friendly too! Your pet will have a great time and be spoiled a bit, whether I'm stopping by for a short stay or sticking around for a while! Of course, your rules first, so just let me know what you need and I'll do the rest! I'm currently driving with Lyft, but really want to scale back the driving and use my flexible schedule constructively by making some of my favorite animals happy! We have a fully-fenced yard in which the dogs love to run, 1100 square feet inside and basically all doggies are treated like family! They are fed dog food only, and just a light treat or two during the day, also dog-related, not "people food" treats. Plain, boiled chicken is the only exception, with white rice if there's an upset belly!. They are bathed monthly in the summer, and brushed randomly, though my daughter's dog has very short hair. I have also stayed at the homes of several individuals to care for their pets, a few of whom should be submitting testimonials shortly, if they haven't already!

While with our, your fur baby will have freedom all day long (both indoors & outdoors). I have 2 - Morkie's (Maltese/Yorkie mix), Dixie & Scrappy who love to snuggle on the sofa and play with toys. I also have 2 daughters who love animals of all kinds. I have a very large fenced yard (just under an acre) for lots of running and playing outdoors. We love playing fetch and doing tricks. We know packing for travel can be tough, so we provided feeding bowls, toys, treats, bedding creates and pens to make it even easier for your pet to be away from home. We are your pets home away from home! I am a certified groomer, upon request, your pup can be completely pampered with a grooming session while staying with us. Please let me know in your booking request if you would like to take advantage of booking a grooming session. During the summer months our property is professionally treated for flea, ticks, & mosquitoes to keep those pesky critters away from our furry visitors Early Drop-Off Fee: $10 Before 8 am Late Pick-Up Fee: $10 After 8 pm ** Please note that an additional fee will be added to each reservation for drop off & pick up due to township regulations**

I also have had experience walking and sitting dogs throughout my years at college and into my work life as my part time job. I love animals and will treat your pets with the upmost care and respect. I’m currently a News Production Assistant at KYW Newsradio, so I am flexible and able to be with your pet to keep them happy! My hours are overnight so they never affect when your pet needs to be taken care of. I walk, feed and water and play with my animals daily. When I am not working, I live in a rural area and can play with my dogs outside for hours.
