About: I love animals! I am an animal science major at Umass and I have a two year-old dog, who I consider, my child. He loves to play, and although his happiness is a priority to me, getting another dog is just not in the cards. Instead, I am looking to dog sit a dog that would play all day with him. Although he is not considered a big dog, he is a dense 30 pounds, and he loves to “rough house”. He is very friendly and does not have an aggressive bone in his body, so it is also important that your dog is also not aggressive in any way (including recourse aggressive). Although he loves all dogs, I think a dog that is either around the same weight or heavier than him would make a good matchup because of how rough he likes to play (but he also takes breaks from playing and naps). leaving your dog under my care, you can expect that I will, of course, put your dogs health and happiness as a priority, and my pup will make sure he/she goes back home exhausted. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am a full-time student and I am not home for most of the day on Tuesday and Thursday, and Friday mornings. other than that, I am typically home getting work done. I live in a two-story house in a neighborhood in Amherst. I live with my 4 other close friends. We have an open backyard (no fenceing), and a great neighborhood for walks. My dog (2yrs/30lbs) is my baby and best friend. He loves to play with dogs, and it would be really great to find him a buddy. Although he isn’t a big dog, he certainly plays like one and he loves to rough house so he needs a body that is either around the same weight as him or bigger than him. And as an experienced pet owner, a studying animal science major, and an animal lover, you can rest assured that your pup is in good hands.
12. Lila S.
“Lila has been a welcome addition to our dog’s life. Lila is flexible, prompt, a good communicator, and most importantly of all, loves our dog like her own! She provides pictures and videos, and does a great job walking and playing with our dog when we can’t be home with him. I would recommend her without hesitation!”
13. Simon B.
“Thank you Simon Guddu loved his visit and I appreciate how flexible and accommodating you were”
14. Tonya C.
“I wish I could give Tonya 100 stars! Selfishly, I want to keep her all to ourselves. This was our first vacation away from our pup and Tonya made us feel super comfortable; she responded to our questions quickly; she sent us photos of our pup while we were away; and most importantly took excellent care of our pup. Tonya has a large yard and lots of ideas to keep dogs busy! Our little pup came home pleasantly exhausted, and I think slightly depressed that she had to leave her friends! We will definitely request Tonya’s care again, whether it’s for the day or a longer trip away.”

About: I am happy to assist you and your pet care needs. While in college, I helped many clients while they were traveling. I would host their animals overnight, take them for walks and ensure their safety and care. I also grew up with animals in my home mostly cats and dogs. My family instilled the importance of connection, activity and health when it relates to caring for animals. My home is very clean and we have a fenced in yard and a safe neighborhood to walk in. We also live near many walking trails and love to be outside. We have one small dog, Shorkie, who is very social and loves to go for walks and play. I have two boys who are eager to get more experience with pets and to see if we might be able to welcome another dog into our family in the near future. this would be a great training opportunity for them. Work From Home so flexible. I also love to walk and get my own dog out 2-3 x a day for walks. We have a big fenced in yard for lots of time outdoors to explore. I have a fenced in yard and a small Dog at home that would love to be friends with your pup. We can crate your animal at night.

“Stephen is a wonderful pet lover and care giver and we're fortunate to have him take care of our little family member. He instantly hit off with Milo which was great as Milo fears men. He's been attentive and ensured that Milo continued his training, gave him awesome treats and it's great to see Milo's excitement when Stephen shows up. Stephen gives great updates and sometimes sends photos and overall love his professional/friendly attitude - would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been a pet caregiver for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of animal lovers. It’s always been my belief that it does your soul good to care for another living creature. I’ve cared for animals all across the age spectrum, including hospice. I currently work as a medical assistant. My schedule is such that I work only 3 or 4 days a week. My schedule is permanent and I always know my availability for pet sitting. I’m very reliable and I pride myself on not being late. I would greatly prefer to receive written guidelines and instructions when caring for pets. In my experience, it’s always good to know what works for everyone.
19. Brenda O.
“Brenda and Roberto have been taking care of Riley, golden doodle, since she was a puppy. We are a return customer of 3 years now and every single time we bring Riley it’s like she forgets we exist and runs into their home and doesn’t even look back. Brenda is so attentive and Riley loves to play with Roberto and Ace, their new German Shepard puppy. I will never look for anyone else, they’re pretty much family now!”
