About: I'll care for your pet like it's my own, and will provide ample ear scritches and snuggles as needed while they miss you during your time away. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life and truly treat them like family. I grew up in a home with four dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I also adopted and lovingly cared for a difficult senior dachshund for years, which gave me valuable experience with patience, senior dog needs, routines, and extra attentiveness. I have a yard for outdoor time, and while it is not fenced, I use a secure runner/tie-out system and close supervision so dogs can safely enjoy fresh air, potty breaks, and time outside. I also keep dogs leashed on walks and anytime they are outdoors for added safety. If your dog is crate-trained or more comfortable with their own space, I’m happy to accommodate crating and follow your normal home routine. I always aim to keep pets on their regular schedule for feeding, exercise, rest, and any medications or special instructions.
