“Lila was a great sitter for Minnie. My very anxious “baby” took to Lila very quickly and that is not her norm, so I felt very comfortable leaving them together. Lila communicated and kept in touch well. She was very respectful of my home and even left a cute doggie thank you note. Minnie seemed to love her and I know this because often when I get home Minnie us sitting by the door waiting. She was sleeping in the living room and much calmer than my usual returns. I recommend Lila as responsive, responsible, and respectful. Thank you!!!”

About: As a young girl, around 10 years old, I first started my own little dog walking business around my neighborhood. Over the years I have picked up quite a few dog sitting gigs while friends and neighbors went out of town, anywhere from a weekend away to a month vacation. One summer, I took an internship at the local animal shelter, where I cleaned kennels, played with the dogs out in the yard, walked them, and socialized kittens to be comfortable in our arms. I love all dogs and cats alike, I even have a beautiful orange kitty of my own. :) I always grew up around cats and dogs and would show any pets the same love I give my own! I currently work as a bartender 4 days out of the week and am looking to fill my extra hours off with something I love and am passionate about! In my opinion there’s no better way to spend your time than productively while feeding a source of your happiness. I currently have two cats who can be social yet reserved at times. One tends to mind his own business and the other is curious but shy, so they won’t be an issue towards your pet. I live in an apartment with access to grassy areas so there’s no problem taking your dog out for some sunshine and fresh air.

About: I’ve been dog/house sitting for 15 years for this couple and i love hanging out with the girls. I’ve had dogs since the day i was born, so been around dogs all my life. As i work full time i will not get my own dog cause i feel i won’t be around enough. This is my way of getting dog time in my life. I’m that person that has to stop and say hi to every dog I see. About: I grew up with dogs and love every dog I’ve met. I’ve been caring for dogs (and cats, chickens, pigs) for the last 10 years. I’ve cared for all sizes and breeds, mostly in their homes while their families go on vacation. This includes puppy and older dogs, following any instructions and keeping their routines. I currently work full-time. I typically do weekends (Friday-Sunday), but am available for extended or week long stays, if the dogs are typically okay for 8+ hours or another sitter to come let me out during the day. I make sure they are fed and have gone out before I leave and feed them and let them out when I get back and make sure it sit them with outside when the weather is nice. Dog sitting at the dogs home causes the dogs less anxiety and keeps them comfortable while they miss their family. I love when they are comfortable, show all their quirks, and get into their favorite spots. With providing at home sitting, the dogs don’t have to handle the stress of their family being gone and going to a new place, which every dog reactions different too. All the dogs I care for, I’ve seen the benefits of being in their house with them

My senior car was cared for, and the house was in order upon our return. Lily provided occassional updates on how things were going and a few photos. About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. I also worked for a few families to care for their dogs in the past assisting with feedings, play time, and walks. I have some experience training using a clicker as I have trained my own dog and know of little tricks. Dogs brighten up my day and I love being around them whenever I can. I offer caring for pets in my client’s homes and always make sure to ask about fenced in yards, safety precautions, allergies, and any other precautions the owner needs me to be aware of. I also only do walks on sidewalks or non busy roads when possible.
