About: I love animals, I can get along with any dog big or small, high energy, low energy, runners, etc. I’ll keep your dog’s tail wagging! I’m currently a student and work during the week, I have free time on the weekends to take your dog on a run or watch your dog from stealing treats. I will treat your home as if it was mine, I will clean up after any mess. Make sure toys, treats, etc. are put back in their proper place.

About: Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, goats, birds, hamsters, and more, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality, needs, and routines. In addition to personal experience, I’ve worked for the AKC, which gave me an even deeper understanding of canine behavior, care, and communication. I’m especially attentive to pets who may need a little extra patience or understanding, including seniors, anxious pets, reactive dogs, or animals with unconventional routines. I also have firsthand experience managing separation needs in my own household, so I understand how important structure, safety, and individualized care can be. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, cuddly, anxious, or somewhere in between, I pride myself on creating a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment where they feel safe and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so my days are structured around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, enrichment, medications when needed, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also very mindful of maintaining routines that help animals feel secure and reduce stress while their owners are away. I always tailor my care to each pet’s individual personality, routine, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, litter box care, medications if needed, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially when their owners are away. I’m very attentive to body language, behavior changes, and overall comfort, and I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and low-stress environment. I also understand that some pets need extra patience, space, or structure, and I’m experienced with anxious pets, shy cats, senior animals, and pets with unique routines or separation needs. Communication is also very important to me, so I make sure owners receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while their pets are in my care.

“This is the third time I've had Leanne do drop-in visits for my kitty Bandit. I had to contact Leanne urgently as we needed to go out of town unexpectedly for my father's funeral. Leanne was very prompt with responding back to me and was able to do drop-in visits kind of last minute for several days. Leanne is super efficient and prompt and always gave me a detailed Rover card after each visit with a few photos. It was a load off my mind that Bandit was well cared for during this difficult time for me.”
