About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I’ll take your lead as to things I need to know about what makes your dog’s personality shine.

About: I have had cats as pets of my own my whole life. I tend to think I can be a bit of a cat whisperer. I love to follow their lead and allow them the play or space that is needed. I feel comfortable cleaning a littler box and can handle multiple cats at a time. I am also comfortable administering some medication and handling senior cats.

About: I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years, where i was in charge of feeding, potty breaks, medicine (if applicable), cleaning kennels, bonding time, bathes (wet/dry), and brushing. I have been around animals my whole life and have always had a pet, even if it was something small like a fish. I’m currently unemployed at the moment, so i’ll have abundant time to watch your beloved pets! I’m available anytime, any day with the exception of Wednesday, so feel free to reach out! I have a fenced in yard where i let my four dogs out freely to do their business and get their energy out, while I get their food bowls ready and check their water. As for watching dogs, I will follow the instructions provided to ensure the dog is safe and in routine for when the owner returns home. About: I have experience with breeds extra small to extra large as we owned a jack Russell, chocolate lab, golden retriever, and mastiff/cane Corso mix at the same time. Currently, we have a 6 year old American bulldog named rosie who loves lounging and eating my daughter's toys. I'm a recently retired teacher with a ton of free time on my hands and a desire to have a more active lifestyle. I live in west Conshohocken and have no commitments outside of elementary school drop off/pick up. I would prefer to care for your pet in your home as I have a kindergarten aged child but will consider housing a pet for a short stay. We have a fencrd in grassy yard and 2 enclosed deck/concrete areas. I will provide background clearances from the state police, FBI, and Childline.
