About: I have loved animals my entire life, always love meeting and caring for new animals and I take pride in making the animals around me feel loved, safe, and cared for while their owners are away I currently am working roughly 3 hours daily for 3 days a week and would love taking in animals on a day to day basis I live near a road that doesn’t typically have traffic (dead end road in the country), but even still I always make sure to take dogs out on leashes to ensure their safety. I do have cats but they can be put away to ensure your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared. I have a safe space with plenty of quiet for your animal to be crated if they are feeling stressed or just need some alone time

About: I have grown up around all types of pets. In my childhood I rescued multiple dogs and our family rescued many, many, cats! I am very loving and caring and I treat every pet as it is my own. I like to first get to know them to see if I’d even be a good match for your pawesome friend! I have trained some dogs as puppies, taught them the basics as well as potty trained them. I work at the NC Zoo, so I am able to go home and let dogs out/walk them over my hour lunch. I do watch my parents 2 Australian shepherds whenever they are out of town at my home, with a fenced in backyard, and my 2 cats get along with the dogs fine! I am a full-time zookeeper with a rotating schedule. I am available for at home care, overnight care as well as drop in visits throughout the week! I have a small fenced in backyard and 2 animal friendly cats. If needed, I am able to close my cats into their separate room when I'm not home. If providing care at client's home, I will walk, feed, medicate and play with them as well as spend the night if needed.

About: I started off pet sitting small I had two regular customers. I would watch two cats for one and a dog for another. I have always owned a dog or cat. And would watch close friends and families pets. Then took the leap of faith and start with Rover. I do take same day bookings as long as I'm not full. I do stay busy have a few repeat clients already. I will work with you 100% and communicate 100%. Being reliable is key and communication is key. Daily routine for dogs or cats that are being boarded. Cats will always be in a safe designated area away from dogs if they are boarded. They get fed in the morning and evening normally 8am and 5pm or whatever the client wants. They go potty really early and throughout the day and their last potty break is normally around 10-11pm. They pretty much do whatever and just have a great time playing with other pets and making them feel at home. They are allowed on beds and furniture. You will always get updates daily and pictures. They will go on walks also. Now in home visits is whatever you as the client wants. I leave it up to you. Normally they get spoiled and loved on and go outside fed whatever you need. They also get very spoiled and pampered while being boarded. Safety and cleanliness is my top priority. I slowly and monitor every dogs behavior that is staying just to make sure they all get along. I always feed each dog separately as some are food aggressive. Your dogs bowls get clean after each meal and sent home clean. Floors get sanitized each day and vacuumed. Their dog toys, blankets and dog beds get washed before they leave so they are nice and clean. Dog poop gets picked up out of the yard daily. I do have indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor the dogs if gone.

About: Hey Hey, My name is Alexis Boat. I am a former student at North Carolina A&T State University studying Animal Science. While as a student, I also worked in an Animal Shelter where I was able to learn about various types of information for both domestic and farm animals. In 2020, I was laid off of my job due to the COVID-19 outbreak and decided to start my own boarding business. I’m addition, Rover has always been a way for me to be around animals and help their parents as they need. I have two big dogs of my own, Brandi, who is a one year old Black Labrador Mix and Bruno, who is a one year old Beagle Australian Shepard Mix. My dogs have blessed my life to no end. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
