Dog Walking Handy

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve loved working with them in all kinds of capacities since I was a child, and for more than 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of doing so professionally. Over the years, I’ve trained and cared for dogs of all personalities and backgrounds, including working dogs, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual. I’m a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. I recertify annually so I can stay current with the latest first-aid practices, and I’m also comfortable administering oral medications when needed. Most importantly, I treat every dog in my care as an individual and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here. Before your pup comes to stay, I’ll have you fill out a little information form about them. It’s not meant to feel like paperwork for paperwork’s sake—it simply helps me get to know your dog before they arrive. Their routines, quirks, favorite things, and anything else that helps me make them feel at home are all helpful to know. I don’t have a breed preference and have experience with everything from easygoing family companions to high-drive working dogs. Whether your pup is happiest curled up on the couch or ready to spend the day exploring, I’m happy to accommodate their personality and your preferences. And yes, your dog is absolutely welcome on our couch! ❤️ Our home is their home while they’re here, and we want them to feel comfortable and included. At the same time, I’m always happy to follow whatever arrangements work best for your family. No matter what their stay looks like, your pup can count on plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and interaction. My goal is for them to head home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit! I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

About: My experience for the last 7 years has been raising and training working search and rescue dogs. I also have a combined 10 years of volunteering and fostering with rescues and animal shelters. I especially love caring for senior dogs ensuring they are given their best years with the love and grace they deserve. As my jobs for the last 12 years have been working from home, I have time to also take care of your pets! My 3 dogs and 1 cat are my family and I understand the trust you need for me to take care of your family as well. If your dog is staying with me, they will enjoy 13 fenced-in acres with supervised exploration and playtime. When not outside playing, they will stay in my home with me. I also have heavy duty indestructible crates for those that need the extra help staying in their crate!

About: Hello I'm new to the area. Just recently relocated from New York. I've always have had a love for animals and just have always wanted to show the love to other pets as well. I believe all animals big or small deserve the best care possible. Whether its just for the day or while you enjoy some much needed free time on vacation I'm here for your pets needs. I currently just relocated from upstate New York and looking to make new clients. I am working towards being self employed. But currently employed full time and try my best to fulfill everybody's schedule. I care for pets how I would want anybody caring for my own pets. I prefer a detailed list of the pets normal routine and I follow that. When it is comes to giving love and attention to your pets I have you covered. Leash and proper outside produces are important to follow while walking. I would be providing services at the pets home in a familiar and friendly environment.

About: I’ve taken care of all different kinds of animals for 5+ years including dogs,cats,horses and reptiles! I also have grooming experience along with sitting experience I raise Australian cattle dogs and belgain malinois so very familiar with working dogs! I also own a dog grooming salon! Hidden Creeks Pet Salon! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible for your last minute needs!! I currently have 8 pups of my own so I know how important flexibility for your pets needs is! Most of my clients like a specific schedule so that is my priority to stick to it and communicate with the owner once everything is done!!

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making sure they get the proper care they need. All of my family has relied on me to potty train their dogs. I have experience with multiple different breeds because I worked at a boarding/training facility. I am currently on summer break because I am a teacher so I have plenty of availability. I’m a morning person so I typically get up then feed and walk my dogs then tackle whatever the day brings. I’m only not available on Tuesday evenings. I follow your pet's established routine, stick to their feeding schedule, and keep everything exactly as you left it. Whether your pet stays in their own familiar environment or we are somewhere new I'm fully present and attentive the entire visit. Pets are never left unsupervised in unfamiliar spaces, and I always follow each pet's routine to keep them stress-free and at ease.

About: Your pets are family, and they deserve the same care, attention, and affection they receive at home. I provide dependable, genuine pet care with a personal touch—treating every dog like they’re my own. I rescued my sweet girl Hashbrown when she was just a tiny puppy, cared for friends and family pets my entire life.I enjoy animals and their company plain and simple. I’m currently available M-F after 2pm for all your pet care needs. I can make myself available for extended care throughout the week if necessary and can do overnight stay as well. We have a decent sized fenced in back yard and a very friendly small breed puppy, so your puppy will feel very welcome. I am confident in my ability to care for your pup and their needs!

About: I am a pet sitter with a flexible schedule and have experience volunteering at a pet shelter. I would love to learn more about different breeds and unique and better ways to care for them I can do pet care daily morning or night. I live along with my mom so your pet will be supervised all hours of the day. I do not do boarding due to me living at a college dorm. Dropping in on a clients home I will be very careful of my surroundings and kindly approach your pet with grace and patience.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians. I have provided drop in care, over night care, week long pet boarding. Special needs pets. Both my husband and I work from home. Our hours are flexible. Feel free to contact us we can workout a mutually beneficial schedule. We also have reliable transportation. We can; Feed your pet nutrititional food, play with them, watch TV with them, go on walks, give them baths, and give them their medication.

About: I own two dogs myself, so I am very familiar with how to care for your pet. In the past I have also dog-sat for family and friends! About: I started off pet sitting small I had two regular customers. I would watch two cats for one and a dog for another. I have always owned a dog or cat. And would watch close friends and families pets. Then took the leap of faith and start with Rover. I do take same day bookings as long as I'm not full. I do stay busy have a few repeat clients already. I will work with you 100% and communicate 100%. Being reliable is key and communication is key. Daily routine for dogs or cats that are being boarded. Cats will always be in a safe designated area away from dogs if they are boarded. They get fed in the morning and evening normally 8am and 5pm or whatever the client wants. They go potty really early and throughout the day and their last potty break is normally around 10-11pm. They pretty much do whatever and just have a great time playing with other pets and making them feel at home. They are allowed on beds and furniture. You will always get updates daily and pictures. They will go on walks also. Now in home visits is whatever you as the client wants. I leave it up to you. Normally they get spoiled and loved on and go outside fed whatever you need. They also get very spoiled and pampered while being boarded. Safety and cleanliness is my top priority. I slowly and monitor every dogs behavior that is staying just to make sure they all get along. I always feed each dog separately as some are food aggressive. Your dogs bowls get clean after each meal and sent home clean. Floors get sanitized each day and vacuumed. Their dog toys, blankets and dog beds get washed before they leave so they are nice and clean. Dog poop gets picked up out of the yard daily. I do have indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor the dogs if gone.

About: I love all animals, but dogs are my favorite! I raised a miniature schnauzer for 15 years (RIP Dooney). I now have a senior rescue named, Layla Grayce. I’ve volunteered at many animal shelters and have fostered dogs as well. I will love your fur baby just as they were my own! This flexibility allows me to make myself available as needed for your pets needs. I will honor your pups schedule for all feedings, walks, and potty breaks. Layla would be a great companion for your pup as she is gentle and calm. At bedtime, I can crate your pup or allow them to roam my home. I will give them the attention they deserve while doing my best to make sure they feel safe and at home. I’ll also take photos and provide frequent updates while I care for your fur baby :)

About: I take pride in taking care of your pups. Experience in dealing with all types and any disabilities. My service includes dog walking, overnight stays. Feed 1-3 times day. Potty breaks as many as needed. Taking them to dog parks and walks. Have fun with snuggles and treats. Enjoy their stay as much as possible! Will keep them clean and their areas clean at my house. At clients house can do chores needed to keep the house tidy and/or with the pets.

About: I have taken care of dogs every since I was little. As a kid I offered services for my neighborhood. I now want to offer services out of the comfort of my own home! I have a very flexible schedule with no job. I would love to become a full time pet sitter if I can! I love animals even rabbits, hamsters,etc. I have two dogs currently that are sweet. I take my dog outside everyday I have a strong compassion with animals and love to play with them. I feel for them when they have to stay in the house all day so I do things to entertain them. They are only here for so long ❤️

About: I have a degree in animal science so I know lots about all sorts of animals, i love all animals with a passion. I’m a dog mom of 3! Currently working Wednesday from 2-5 and Friday 6-12. So the rest of the week I can play and walk your pups 🐶!! I’m super flexible with my schedule. I have three pups of my own and two acres of land for them to run and play, I do prefer to do walks or in home check ins on others animals though! One of my pups gets anxious around others sometimes. But he’s not aggressive.
