About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs while dog sitting, visiting local dog parks, and traveling with our dogs to pet friendly locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard as well as a carport/porch area. There is plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, that is no problem. There is plenty of space to take them around the yard for sniffs and potty, as well as walkable streets near our house, and a beautiful park with a walking trail less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" and come back, but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve loved working with them in all kinds of capacities since I was a child, and for more than 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of doing so professionally. Over the years, I’ve trained and cared for dogs of all personalities and backgrounds, including working dogs, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual. I’m a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. I recertify annually so I can stay current with the latest first-aid practices, and I’m also comfortable administering oral medications when needed. Most importantly, I treat every dog in my care as an individual and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here. Before your pup comes to stay, I’ll have you fill out a little information form about them. It’s not meant to feel like paperwork for paperwork’s sake—it simply helps me get to know your dog before they arrive. Their routines, quirks, favorite things, and anything else that helps me make them feel at home are all helpful to know. I don’t have a breed preference and have experience with everything from easygoing family companions to high-drive working dogs. Whether your pup is happiest curled up on the couch or ready to spend the day exploring, I’m happy to accommodate their personality and your preferences. And yes, your dog is absolutely welcome on our couch! ❤️ Our home is their home while they’re here, and we want them to feel comfortable and included. At the same time, I’m always happy to follow whatever arrangements work best for your family. No matter what their stay looks like, your pup can count on plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and interaction. My goal is for them to head home happy, tired, and already looking forward to their next visit! I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.
About: I've had animals most of my life from puppies to pound mutts and full blooded and senior dogs. I make sure to encourage play and positive training. I currently work from home so I spend lots of time with family pets, old roommate animals and friends pets. Lately it's been waking up to 3 small dogs my parents have. I make sure to follow any rules stated by the original owner. It can range from crate training, socialization, cleaning, walking or using the client's home.

I follow your pet's established routine, stick to their feeding schedule, and keep everything exactly as you left it. Pets are never left unsupervised in unfamiliar spaces, and I always follow each pet's routine to keep them stress-free and at ease.
About: My love for pets started as a child. I have had several dogs in my life. A few I’ve chosen, and many I have taken in and rehomed. I was known in my hometown as the person to call if an animal needed a quick placement .. or a total new situation. I currently have a 110 lb, (gentle giant) rescue ,named Olaf, that I’ve had for 4.5 ears, two cats that fell into my lap within the last year, a bunny and a few fish. About: since the age of fourteen i’ve walked all sorts of dogs around my neighborhood, but before i could talk, i was surrounded by large furry friends! at this moment my family and i take care of our 4 crazy fur babies! lucy, sparky, penny, and bear! I grew up walking, loving, and cleaning up after our dogs! Being a dog owner at such a young age taught me the severity of pet responsibility and time management! because i am a college student at high point university i have classes in the morning and late afternoon, but i have a reliable car and have at least two hours between either class. so i am very flexible!! in our gated community for retired military, our pups get to play in a fenced in back yard but we love to slip on their harness and take them on 2 separate 45 min walks morning and night! you can say the are definitely pooped by the end of the night

About: I’ve always had pets growing up and have even trained a few of my own dogs. I’d be so happy to care for yours and give them lots of love. I am a stay at home mom so I have an open and flexible daily schedule, I enjoy early morning walks. I am also open for boarding on weekday or weekends. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space in my home for pets to feel comfortable. My cat can be kept separate if needed. I’m also available for house sitting if that’s preferred.

About: I’ve been around animals for all of my life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. I currently have a large friendly Bernedoodle of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling bigger dogs, energetic puppies, daily walks, feeding schedules, and lots of playtime! I also have an animal science and equestrian background, which has given me years of hands-on experience caring for animals and paying close attention to their behavior and individual needs. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and make sure owners receive plenty of updates and photos while they’re away. As a college student, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and overnight care depending on the day. About: Hi, I’m Kelsey! 🐾 I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I have five dogs of my own and volunteer with a local dog rescue, so caring for dogs is a huge part of my everyday life. Through rescue, I’ve cared for dogs that were scared, neglected, underweight, recovering from surgery, learning to trust people again, and everything in between. Seeing those dogs come out of their shells and finally feel safe is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever experienced.
