About: Hi! My Name is Sam I’ve had pets my entire life and for the last four years, I’ve started caring for others I recently just joined Rover and am excited to be able to help care for more animals while their families are away. I have experience caring for puppies, dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. Growing up, I had a Pitbull, German Shepherd, and a Chihuahua. I also grew up with a cat that had special needs and rescued a litter of kittens and provided all necessary medical care to the four kittens to ensure they were healthy and able to be adopted to great homes. From pet sitting, long or short walks, and boarding I’ve got experience with it all! My goal is to make sure your animal enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. I will maintain any schedules you have for your pet, administer medications if needed, and of course give your pet extra love and attention during your time away. Your pet will get lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. They have free range of the home unless requested from pet owners we do not crate any pets in our care, and we work from home your pet will never be alone! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 6 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well.

“Jamie has been sensational. While this is my first review of her, I wanted to wait for a number of visits before leaving a review. Pre-visit communication have always been positive and quite timely. Communication during visits(texts and photos) are just the right frequency, and always include appropriate pictures. I’d recommend Jamie with no hesitation to my family and friends, so if you’re one of them, I told you so. If you’re not one of them, she did doggie daycare for me on multiple occasions and has been a treat to deal with. On the last visit, my golden puppy was trying to drag me from the driveway to the front door. That should tell you something.”

I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

About: I started walking my next door neighbor’s Boston Terrier when I was around 10. She knew I was an animal lover, and even let me experiment with some training with her pup. This led to me getting into agility training and just general dog training, which I have started to pick back up again. I am known as the family dog sitter, as my family has a combination of Pit Bulls, Bernedoodles, and hunting breeds, so I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes and stubbornness! Aside from dogs, I grew up volunteering at shelters where I adopted my own cat when I was 15, and eventually even landed a job as a zookeeper! As far as my own pets go, I currently keep it to my cat, fish and my wonderful Bearded Dragon, Albus. From my own pets, work experience, and love of training, I really have worked with everything from lizards to rodents to dogs to elephants! One consistency throughout my experience is my love for animals, and my passion to improve the quality of their life! Specific skills: - Puppy/Adult dog training - Hoofstock care and training (goats, horses, exotics) - Reptile care I currently work from home, so I have the availability to work from wherever I need to. This also gives me the option to walk/train during my breaks. I have weekend availability as needed as well. I am able to stay over at a pet owner’s home if needed, however I prefer to host pets in my own home whenever possible. I currently have a 1 year old mixed breed who absolutely LOVES having the company! As always, your pet’s safety is my number one concern. I am trained in identifying and understanding animal behavior and will not put your animal in a position where they do not feel safe. I am also a huge advocate for leash laws and ADA regulations protecting service dogs, so these will always be respected and enforced in my care. I am a huge advocate for animal enrichment, working as a zookeeper in the past taught me how important mental stimulation is for an animal, and how when paired with proper exercise can mitigate behavioral issues in pets. This is something I would love to bring to the table for my clients!

About: I have been taking care of dogs of every kind since the summer of 2016. Family and friends have come to me to care for their fur babies when needed. If boarding , please note there are 3 children in the home ages 6,7,8 and 2 cats who’s shots are up to date as well ( the Yorkie in my first to photo is my late MJ, the other photos ,are of pups I’ve boarded/have done drop in visits over the last few months ) I currently don’t work right now , so I’m open to most schedules that I’m given .I offer discounts to veterans and/or pet owners with disabilities as well 🙏🏽 30$ for 2 -15 minute walks per day , plus feeding and play time if needed. About: I used to raise a pug of my own since he was born. He lived until ten and half years old and passed away in 2023 due to hemangiosarcoma. He had it growing slowly over time for few years until the end. There is not much treatments to it which was frustrating and heartbreaking. But he had lived his best life and actually lived his life to the fullest with his silly, wild, and stubborn personalty along with his three legs. He will always be my half and in my heart forever. I am sorely missing him forever. He had been taken care of with plenty of food, love, attention and toys! He met so many people, other dogs including cats! He traveled to many places because he loved to explore! His favorite thing to do is sniff every plant in the nature and mark on them! He is fond over stuffed toys. I take him to vet regularly as necessary to keep tracking on his good health. I also has a lot of experiences with medium to large size dogs before such as black lab, German sheperd, and pit bull. I believe that dogs should be treated as family members with care/love and they are so much alike us emotionally. After all, I am a crazy animal lover and love the compassion/company from furkids. I have plenty of treats and toys for your loved furkid to play with! I love to walk the dogs through the nature trail, too. You are more than welcome to contact me about my dog/cat sitting service! Available almost 24/7. I currently work four overnight shifts a week, but I do sleep five to 8 hours and often woke up to do errands around the house to take care of everything. So, I am mostly available at all times for anything except sleep hours. I tend to sleep at 8am to 2pm or 3pm, but after I woke up, I always check to feed, refill fresh water, and take the pets to restroom and check around the house. My place is near to some parks with long trails which is great for dogs who enjoy the walk! My place have a large space in the neat wooden floor basement (first floor) which will be a great play pen! The basement have the light windows and doors to the backyard! We also have large living room with big couch which our pets love to jump around and play! As for cats, I have a large bedroom which is quiet with door locked at all times. I often access to my bedroom everyday. My cat is currently loving his cozy life in my bedroom with everything of what he have including his own famous cat tree!

About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

About: I have had as many as 13 cats while rescuing. And 5 dogs at a time. I love animals and would love to help your pets as I would my own. I have pet sat for friends and family and have friends who use rover. So I thought it would be a wonderful fit if someone needs help as I have in the past. I have a chocolate lab who is a big cream puff. And just lost my 20 year kitty. I kennel my dog when away for vacation and appreciate the love and care they give him.
