About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. I grew up with cats and small pets and as an adult I have had my own dogs. I have been taking care of my neighbor’s two big dogs for three years now, including giving meds and immediately responding to emergencies. I am currently a stay at home mom looking to earn extra income while the kids are at school. I am available to come on nights and weekends if the kids can come! They love pets too. I put safety first always, for animals and humans. I am very good at reading an animal’s energy and I am very good at helping calm everyone down and feel safe. I am a comforting presence and they are for me in return. I have also recently had my yard certified as a wildlife habitat from the National Wildlife Federation.

About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. As a teacher my summer is wide open for walks and drop in visits. Once the school year starts after school and weekends are open. I'm very comfortable with dogs of various sizes and needs. I can crate your furry family members, get them fed, out for walks etc. I'm comfortable with various walking equipment from harnesses to gentle leaders and collars.

I do not have a customized crate, however the largest size I offer is a 700 series sized crate. These will only be used when I am not home. Your pet will have a fenced in property. There will always be clean water to drink from. I will feed them depending on your preferences for feeding. Otherwise, once in the morning and once in the evening. About: I have been pet sitting for about 10 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I love animals but right now my job has me traveling internationally for long periods of time, so I'm delaying getting my own for the time being. I really miss the interaction though, so this seemed like the perfect solution.

Dogs are allowed on the furniture and I am happy to let them either roam free downstairs or be put in a kennel when I am not home. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. I grew up on a farm, and we always had animals to care for. Currently, I have 1 dog and 4 cats, we rescued a cat family.
