I schedule my day around feeding times, walks, play time, and check-ins to ensure every pet gets consistent care. Mornings and evenings are dedicated to exercise, enrichment, and cuddles, while afternoons include potty breaks, supervision, and rest time. My schedule is flexible and intentionally designed so I can give every animal the attention, and time they deserve. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, supervised, and comforting environment set to their needs. I maintain clean spaces, provide cozy rest areas, and offer play time. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and preferred activities, so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine uninterrupted. I handle feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, medication, playtime, and any specific instructions exactly as provided. I also respect the home environment by keeping everything tidy and secure. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on communication, safety, and reliable, compassionate care that helps pets feel calm, comfortable, and understood.

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa, I grew up around all kinds of animals and it’s made me a reliable and caring pet lover who enjoys spending time with them. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention. I’m available anytime after 1 PM everyday of the week for walks or drop-ins! I also work part-time throughout the week, but I still have a lot of free time and can often fit in pet care depending on the timing. Because I keep my schedule fairly open, I’m able to focus on making sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and schedule so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my home due to the animals that already live here and the limited space. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting where they are most comfortable in their familiar environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I respect your home, keep things clean, and will always keep you updated so you know your pet is safe and happy.

About: I grew up in a family that always had pets and working dogs mostly mixed breeds and some purebreds. I have had two dogs (one at a time) in the last thirty years. My first dog was a registered black Labrador. My wife gave her to me on our second Christmas together. Her name was Genoa - after the Italian city I studied in as a grad student. She passed away at nineteen years old. I now have a Maltese - Shih Tzu. He loves to play fetch even though he is eleven years old. I do DoorDash part-time, so I have a flexible schedule. I can work around your dog's routine to make sure they're fed and exercised regularly. In my experience, animals feel more comfortable and secure in their usual environment, so the only new element is my presence and how I interact with them. I have cared for dogs that need regular medications and exercise, and I maintain their schedule and activities as closely as possible. This is especially important to me when dealing with dogs who are crated or confined. I want to build a strong relationship with your pet based on trust and consistency.

About: I have had pets as long as I can remember and have personally taken care or my pets for about eight years now, I recently helped my sibling to raise their puppy and have a blind dog I care for. I currently am not employed so I should have a great deal of time to take care of your dogs. I will be shre your pets are fed, watered, and gets plenty of exercise I have a nice open yard in a cozy townhouse with a friendly puppy who should be able to keep your dogs company so they don't get lonely.

About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.

About: I am a previous dog owner and have the biggest heart when it comes to animals!! I’m great with bath time and training. I love the outdoors and have no problem spending plenty of time outside running around playing catch! There is a dog park in my neighborhood and plenty of places in the area if the dog isn’t use to other animals. I live 10 minutes from river walk and other great walking trails! I also have a nice size patio for sun bathing. I use to work at a dog kennel so I have experience working with every size dog from a chihuahua to an English mastiff. We do not have a fence, however I take Pepper on walks on the leash very often. Your dog can sleep on its bed, we also have an extra bed.

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, haven’t yet met an animal that didn’t like me. I have experience with difficult dogs, nervous and overly excitable fur missiles. I’m willing to work with them as long as I feel safe to do so but im not a trainer, I don’t know how to make them unlearn bad behaviors and learn good ones. Right now I don’t have a regular full time job, I have been searching and applying but no offers as of yet. I have no kids or pets of my own so I’m available at nearly any time, from drop-in visits to overnight sitting. I understand letting a stranger into your home is unsettling, I don’t take it for granted and I’ll do my best to respect your home and pets. I don’t currently have my own home, I live with others so I’m unable to board pets. It tends to be less stress anyways for the pet to stay home where they are in a familiar environment. Unless they have a rigid routine involving sleeping in your bed with you, and won’t go to bed otherwise, I tend to stay on the couch.

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, played baseball for 16 years both Varsity Highschool as well as Travel ball and in 2019 moved up here to North Carolina for my dads retirement and to be close to his side of the family. I recently worked at PetSmart for about a year and took care of many exotic pets on the daily! I always prioritize pets necessities and desires and have a job that allows me to work remotely while I take care of your pets at the same time!!! I also own a cat myself who I love and adore with all my soul lol. I would take your pet for a walk daily to ensure their built up energy is being used as well as give them special play time! However many times your animal takes to use the bathroom I will ensure happens and accommodate any preferences they have and are needed. I love to lay and cuddle with animals so if that’s something your pet loves, I’m all for it!

About: I have always been around animals since I was young . I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. About: I’ve taken care of animals from dogs to guinea pigs. I currently have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 2 guinea pigs who I consider my babies. I have had experience all my life with all kinds of animals and can’t wait to love on your pet! I am a kindergarten teacher who during the school year, can be available for drop ins/walks after 3 pm. In the summer, I have a lot more flexibility in my schedule! Pets are our family and should be treated with love, respect, and compassion. Every animal in my care will be protected and loved!
