About: Hello! My name is Emily and I have owned animals for my entire life and have very much experience with them. From Tiny Critters to over thousand pound horses-they tend to like me and I love them all! I am a farrier, meaning that I trim and shoe horses hooves, so I do work a couple of hours at least once a week but I spend as much time with my clients pets as I can because I can only imagine how they feel when their people aren’t home and I would want someone to do the same for my fur babies. Dogs, Cats, and/or Critters may sleep in the bed with me or wherever they wish to sleep, as long as they and happy and comfortable! I can’t wait to meet your pets! As of now, Rover is my full time job! With that being said, I have more than ample amount of time to spend with your fur baby! I Care for my client’s pets as if they are my own! Our pets are a part of our families and I plan to treat them that way!

Mornings and evenings are dedicated to exercise, enrichment, and cuddles, while afternoons include potty breaks, supervision, and rest time. My schedule is flexible and intentionally designed so I can give every animal the attention, and time they deserve. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, supervised, and comforting environment set to their needs. I maintain clean spaces, provide cozy rest areas, and offer play time. I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and preferred activities, so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine uninterrupted. I handle feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, medication, playtime, and any specific instructions exactly as provided. I also respect the home environment by keeping everything tidy and secure. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on communication, safety, and reliable, compassionate care that helps pets feel calm, comfortable, and understood.

About: I have 10 years of pet care experience. I am well versed with dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. I can handle large dogs and still cuddle with the little dogs. I get to care for my friends fur babies and I am grateful for every moment. I have experience with seniors and puppies (or kittens!) and can handle pretty much any situation. I am also able to administer medications if needed. I am currently working at a carriage barn 5 days a week. However, my hours are very flexible there so I can fit your pet into my week with no problems. I am also available weekends! I prefer not to board at my home, just to help keep the peace within my own animals and to not cause unneeded stress on your fur baby. I can do up to 3 visits a day, preferably nothing exceeding an hour unless necessary. I will watch over pet like it is my own. That being said, I will abide by any rules you may set for your animals. I will walk them, play with them, and love on them.

About: I have 20 years experience with a variety of animals, ranging from dogs all the way to goats! I currently have 3 dogs and 24 chickens, that are my extremely spoiled babies! I am a former kennel assistant for the humane society of York county and have experience with a variety of temperaments in both dogs and cats. I am a small business owner who is able to make my own schedule so I am very flexible with scheduling and making sure your animal gets the care they need! Having 2 temperamental dogs and also formerly working for the humane society, I pride myself on remaining calm in all situations and choosing the best outcome to maintain trust with you and above all your animals safety.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve had both small and large dogs. I have experience with feeding and walking dogs and with cleaning out litter boxes. I’ve pet sat for my aunt’s cats on multiple occasions. I have experience with giving medication to both dogs and cats and would be comfortable doing this for your pet. I’m currently taking online classes to do earn my masters degree so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’ve available most anytime during the day on weekdays and most weekends The safety and happiness of your pets is my utmost concern. I will follow any and all instructions that you give me for how to care for your pet. I’m happy to play with your pet when I come and take them for walks outside.

About: Since age 4 I've had an animal in my home. I've brought home so many of our family pets over the years basically off of the streets. I cared for them faithfully and lovingly until they crossed that rainbow bridge. Animals are naturally drawn to me and I have several tips and tricks to get your fur baby comfortable and content by the end of our visit. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. Every morning I wake up between 5 and 6 every day and begin feeding and caring for my pets at home. I feed and water 2-3 times daily. I do walks and play time and of course cuddles and pets. I will treat them as if they were my own fur babies, with love and compassion.

I am a full time college student but on weekends as well as holidays I am more than willing to help you out with whatever you need! At home I feed, walk, bath, play, pet, and cuddle my own pet. About: Husband & wife team that has dogs, cats & chickens on over a half acre. We love animals & can't wait to love on your fur baby! We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. We have a special needs dog, and have been proud pet parents of two senior dogs for 5 years. We have experience from puppies to hospice care. We are well adept with different training and dietary needs, and love dog walks. Our large fenced in backyard (half an acre) and two catios give our pets plenty of space to explore. We also have invisble fence for the front yard. We are skilled at grooming and nail trimming and dog teeth brushing, as well as giving medication. We love to spoil our pets; so we have a multitude of pet sofas, dog beds, cat trees, and a comfy outdoor dog house. And we love to cuddle all pets, so bed snuggles are encouraged. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 4yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule! I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! About: I have one year experience working with a dog walking / pet sitting company in Boston, MA, and I would love to continue that experience now that I'm in SC! I've had dogs my whole adult life, and cats since childhood. Your babies will be safe and happy in my hands, and I will love them like they're my own! My schedule is currently very flexible. I am available weekdays, weekends and for overnight stays, rain or shine! I have a vehicle and I live within walking distance of downtown Rock Hill! Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my own home. Exceptions may be able to be made for well behaved cats and small animals, but I don't have a yard for dogs.

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family all throughout my 4 years of high school and now in my sophomore year of college as a pre-vet student. I also worked at a dog daycare for 18 months handling food, medications, evaluations, reactive dogs, and bathing. I currently work at a vet clinic in my hometown as a kennel technician. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens for as long as I can remember! My family has always loved pets and my sister was also a pet sitter so I’m well versed. I’ve also owned birds and been experienced with ferrets so I know how to take care of many different types of pets. This is my second job but despite that, I am committed to providing the best care to your pets! I am available all throughout the week at certain times, we can communicate further to fit your pet’s schedule! I provide walks, check ins, I will refill food, water, litter, and other services needed of me. About: We are a family of 4 (counting our dog Pepper). I work from home so your dog won’t be alone. I grew up always having a pet to take care of; cats, hamsters and many dogs of different breeds. We have a 16 yr old mini schnauzer that is a little sassy but always friendly with dogs, cats and humans. Dogs are part of our family, they will be allowed in couch to snuggle with us while watching tv and we’ll also spend time outside. We have a fenced yard and we live across a park, I will take your dog for a walk at least twice a day. Your dog will feel loved and safe in our home while you are gone. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are very flexible with our time. I work from home so Pepper and I will have an extra friend to keep us company during the day. We go outside several times during the day. We do not have a fence, however I take Pepper on walks on the leash very often. Your dog can sleep on its bed, we also have an extra bed.

I recently relocated to The Carolinas from Georgia where I initially started working with Rover. I took some time away from this website as I had started to grow my own clientele and business outside out of it. I’ve been taking care of various animals since I was around 8 years old. (Including but not limited to: family pets, neighbors pets, horses, ducks, reptiles, and rescued wildlife.) Animals have played a major part in my life, and I understand fully how you want the best for them. I currently have a dog named Gunny, alongside the family dog, Bella. I am an active person, so your furry fam will definitely have fun outside with walks/runs, playing inside and outside, and also swimming if weather permitted! If you are in the process of training your friend, I would be more than willing to continue/enforce it while they are in my care. In the case that you do invite me into your home to watch your pets, I’d gladly like to meet up beforehand to make sure you’re comfortable as well as your pets feel comfortable around me. All dogs have different and unique needs, and achieving them, along with yours are my main goals. My service is very customizable, to fit your needs and your dog(s). There is no need for added stress on either part! I love all sorts of dogs, and personally, if I could have 20+ dogs and other animals I would! With that being said, while yes having a lot of pets is fun, they can get expensive (especially on here where it is per pet). So, If you have more than 1 or 2 pets that will be cared for, I am more than willing to adjust prices! Just ask, I'm sure we can come to an agreement of some sort. I do have my distance set at around 10-15 miles, and I am more than willing to travel further if it works out. However with doing so, if agreed upon I'd charge a dollar or two more for gas. While I do offer doggy daycare at my location my only requirement is that you have either a low shed or hypoallergenic dog. Like I previously stated, my service is very customizable and I want to make sure that your friend is well taken care of as well as yourself.
