I was a kennel assistant at a Veterinary office so I know how to administer some medication and can help look for signs of distress and anxiety. About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 4yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. About: I’ve had dogs in my family home since I was about 10 years old! I’ve watched about 3 different dogs all at the same time and each had different needs. I love animals and playing with them and cuddling with them. Since I was 10 I’ve watched my families dogs and then I branched out to friends as well! I watched pets up until my 2 year of college as I lost a lot of my clients as my schedule got too hectic unfortunately. I am looking to help again as my roommates dog has reminded me how much I miss helping with pets and interacting with them. I am familiar with the puppy stages and all the love and care that it entails I am not scared of any animal not matter the shape and size! The bigger the pet the better the cuddles! My childhood dog is an older puppy so I’m familiar with giving medicine and massages for the older pups! As of right now I unfortunately lost my job due to my location closing down. I am wide open most days all day of of right now but I will be updating my schedule as frequently as possible for the convenience of my clients! I love to play with dogs and I can follow pet instructions very well! I’m not scared to give medicine and supplements and I love to walk dogs and snuggle. I’m also happy to just keep pets company and can bring things to do if your pet just wants people around!

About: I am a previous dog owner and have the biggest heart when it comes to animals!! I’m great with bath time and training. I love the outdoors and have no problem spending plenty of time outside running around playing catch! There is a dog park in my neighborhood and plenty of places in the area if the dog isn’t use to other animals. I live 10 minutes from river walk and other great walking trails! I also have a nice size patio for sun bathing. I use to work at a dog kennel so I have experience working with every size dog from a chihuahua to an English mastiff. About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.
