Chase is the absolute best❣️❣️ He treated my pup like she was his own and she loves him( I think more than she loves me)🙂🙃. Every day I looked forward to my picture that he sent and her report card. Chase was very thorough and did a great job letting me know about Reese. I highly recommend Chase for your next pet sitter. He is awesome! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰

About: I have had animals all my life, dogs, cats, rodents, and birds. I'm experienced with younger and older animals as well as giving medicines and other. I'm currently a college student and don't work so I have plenty of time to play with pups / kitties and come by for feedings and other. When pet sitting I typically will go by 2 to 3 times a day for feeding and play. I'm always careful around animals especially when they don't know me, I know some can take some time to warm up! I can do walks, play in house, or a backyard if allowed, and other general care.

I knew when Bodhi went right to Fallon with his squeaky duck to play fetch, that he was in great hands! Fallon was prompt, sent updates, and was so sweet with our lil’ old man; we couldn’t be happier with his care while we were away.

Kaylee was great! She is very communicative and respectful! My one fur baby was obsessed with her! My other one warms up slowly so she hid most of the time, but Kaylee was patient and let her have her space which I appreciated!!

Christina is absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the very start, she was prompt, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. It was obvious she treated them like her own. What really stood out was how communicative she was throughout the entire time. Regular updates and quick responses. It gave me such peace of mind. When I had to make a last-minute change to our plans, Christina adapted effortlessly without missing a beat. She was so accommodating and made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless.

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family all throughout my 4 years of high school and now in my sophomore year of college as a pre-vet student. I also worked at a dog daycare for 18 months handling food, medications, evaluations, reactive dogs, and bathing. I currently work at a vet clinic in my hometown as a kennel technician. I am a full-time college student on the pre-veterinary track who has very flexible weekends. I am available all day Friday-Sunday to provide the best quality care for your pets while you enjoy a weekend away! I can easily crate dogs in my clients home and provide frequent potty breaks and walks or backyard exercise as well as locate feeding methods, treats, and administer medication

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa, I grew up around all kinds of animals and it’s made me a reliable and caring pet lover who enjoys spending time with them. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority! My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention. I’m available anytime after 1 PM everyday of the week for walks or drop-ins! I also work part-time throughout the week, but I still have a lot of free time and can often fit in pet care depending on the timing. Because I keep my schedule fairly open, I’m able to focus on making sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and schedule so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my home due to the animals that already live here and the limited space. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting where they are most comfortable in their familiar environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I respect your home, keep things clean, and will always keep you updated so you know your pet is safe and happy.

About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.

About: I have had at least one dog and up to four in my family home for the past 18 years. From golden retrievers to chihuahuas, I am comfortable around dogs of all types. I am accustomed to taking dogs on multiple daily walks, consistent on-time feedings, and driving reluctant pets to the vet and groomer’s. I can do everything from simple drop-ins to sleep aways from just playtime to trips to the dog park. I have a part-time work schedule so I can be available to spend most of my time with your dog, whether high-activity playtimes are their thing or long leisurely walks in the park are more their speed. If they need loads of attention, plenty of belly rubs, or a buddy to keep them company while you’re away, I’m your girl. Just reach out and check my availability with my other job, and I’ll run through it with you. The best option for my current situation is to visit your home to take care of your pup. I have two pets of my own, and one of them is too skittish and unfriendly to make your furbaby feel at home at my place. Since I want your dog to feel as little disruption as possible to their day-to-day, I’ll be sure to play with all of their favorite toys, take them on all of their usual walks, bring them to dog parks for extra socialization, and more—all from the comfort of home. Does your pet need to go to the vet or groomer’s? I’m happy to take them if needed. I also like sending periodic photos from each visit to pet parents for more peace of mind.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I quickly became the person friends and family could count on whenever their pets needed some extra love and care. I now have 15+ years of pet-sitting experience and have cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, fish, reptiles, and more. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, including senior and special-needs pets. I also have experience handling medications and providing the extra patience and attention that some pets need. In 2020, I adopted two kittens from the York County Humane Society, officially turning me into a cat lady! I absolutely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their people are away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in caring and dependable hands. When I’m not taking care of animals, I’m usually trying new foods, spending time with my family, traveling, painting, or working on a pet portrait. I genuinely love animals and feel incredibly lucky to spend my time caring for them! Pet care is naturally part of my daily routine. I’m used to maintaining consistent feeding schedules, keeping track of portions and medications when needed, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and enrichment throughout the day. I’m intentional about giving each pet individual attention based on their personality and needs whether that means a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I understand how important consistency is for pets, especially when their people are away, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat their safety and comfort as my top priority. I’m attentive to doors, gates, feeding instructions, medications, and any special routines to help keep pets safe and comfortable while you’re away. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and will leave things just as I found them. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy, cared for, and in good hands.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals since I was a child. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rodents, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Started dog sitting/walking/training for my neighbors at age 10. Involved in volunteer and rescue work throughout the years as well. I’ll treat your furry and/or scaly babies just like my own! Willing to walk, groom (bathing/brushing/nails), play, do stop in visits, pet sit in your home, clean cages/tanks, and do light housekeeping. I also have experience with basic dog training. I can teach your pooch basic commands, such as sit, stay, lie down, and shake. I have experience with house training as well. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I am located in Rock Hill, and willing to travel within reason I currently work full time, but I am hoping that by using Rover I can change my schedule. I am hoping to pick up enough clients so that I can have a more flexible schedule. I am very courteous of other’s spaces and belongings. I will treat your home and pets just like my own, and I will always treat a client’s home with respect.

About: I love animals! I have worked with dogs for many years at dog shelters and watching my neighbors dogs when I was younger! I am a reliable, trustworthy, and a dog mom myself! I work full time but have flexibility and off Fridays and can accommodate weekend travelers when you can’t travel with the furry babies! I am a very outdoors type of person and will take your dog with me on long walks to get energy out or we can cuddle on the couch if they prefer that too! My home is there home and they are allowed in all furniture🐶 We live in a house with a fenced in yard and I have a pet camera so if your pet is left alone for an hour or two they will be monitored through the camera! Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 1,556 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lando. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lando. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
