“Heather took care of our pups and our house while we traveled for a week. She took excellent care of both! Heather was great with communication and sending pics of our pups. We would definitely use her again.”
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, I was a bather in a dog salon, and my sister is a vet assistant and pet groomer who I have been learning from. I have spent the last 5 years dog sitting for various friends and family. I currently care for my three year old niece during the day and I have the ability to be home with your pet all day during their stay :) We have a fenced in yard, we live on a quiet dead end street and my sister (who also lives in the home) is a vet assistant and pet groomer who knows emergency protocols. I also care for her pets throughout the day, but separate from boarders during their stay. However, since they are dog-friendly and well socialized, you also have the option to add playtime with them to your dog’s stay!

“Wonderful 1st time Rover experience. Evelyn did a fantastic job with my pup. Walked her 2miles, took her to a dog park and was attentive to her. Evelyn took us on very short notice, was on time and professional. Will be booking again and recommending Evelyn.”

About: Never had a day were I didn’t grow up with dogs. They’re the reason I went into a career caring not only for animals but for wildlife too. As small as a chihuahua and to as big as a mastiff mix that am lucky to have back home in Texas. Moved all the way from Texas for a great outdoor opportunity. Enjoying what the greater Albany area has to offer and exploring more places. Dearly miss caring for animals and would love to extend my help to the surrounding community. Our fuzzy friends are great communicators through body language and with years of passion and schooling, it is my pride and joy to care for all critters.
“Merissa and Nick are stand outs! They took such great care of Comet; he can’t wait for them to come back and doggie-sit again! They are super responsive, great about sending updates/photos, and go above and beyond to make your dog comfortable and loved while you’re away! Comet had an injury at the time and, not only did they give him his medicine but also some doggie massages as a bonus! Highly recommend :)”

“Natasha stayed with our dog and two cats over a weekend. Since this was our first time working with her, she was kind enough to setup a meet and greet ahead of time. Everything went very smoothly and we look forward to having her stay with our pets again.”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 13, and I’m especially comfortable with cats and dogs. I have loads of patience for cats and dogs with anxiety, kittens and puppies, and senior pets as well. They’re family, and I love to help in any way I can to ensure your family is happy and healthy! I work full time as a tattoo artist Tuesday-Saturdays from 2-8:30pm. I am available before 1:30 pm Tuesdays and Saturdays, anytime before 5pm on Sundays, and before 7pm on Mondays! However, please feel free to message me about nights Sundays and Mondays as I’m happy to try and move things around. If you need someone at your home to care for pets, I can be there! I’ve watched other people’s lovely pets overnight in the past, and as long as I’m given somewhat of a tour/instructions I am happy to care for them overnight!
“Petra is so caring, communicative, and wonderful. She always sends updates and goes above and beyond to take perfect care of our pup, who she loves like her own. She’s also a fantastic houseguest. Highly recommend!”

“Kenda is a wonderful at this job. She really went the extra mile to become friends with my dog, not just the person that shows up to complete the task. This was especially important because I have an anxious and reactive rescue dog that takes some coaxing in order to trust people. Highly recommended and definitely my go-to dog walker going forward.”
“Anna was wonderful with our high-energy 7-month-old Lab! She arrived on time, spent plenty of time outside with her even in the cold, and stayed for five hours. She followed all instructions and made sure our pup was fed lunch and dinner. We felt completely at ease and would absolutely recommend her.”

“Jenna & Aidan must have done an excellent job taking care of my cat as she didn't yell at me for hours upon my return home!! She was as happy as could be. J&A were very responsive, and timely. I appreciated their willingness to meet up a head of time to see the lay of the land. I would use them again in a heart beat.”

About: I care & love all furry animals from small to large. I have taken care of cats & dogs mainly my whole life and have a big passion & heart for animals in general. I work a full time job in Albany, NY. My schedule is M - F 9 to 5 pm. I can be flexible with my schedule & also can work early mornings or late nights. I am free on the weekends too! 5-Star Review for Pamela – Exceptional Puppy Sitter We were incredibly fortunate to have Pamela care for our young Labrador puppy, Steele, for three nights while we were away. Steele is full of energy, currently teething, and—like many puppies—can be precocious, stubborn, and a handful at times. Despite all that, Pamela handled her with patience, confidence, and genuine affection. From the very beginning, it was clear that Pamela is a seasoned dog person. She took the time to understand Steele’s routines, quirks, and needs, and she always checked in before making any decisions—including asking permission to bring her well-mannered 2-year-old dog for play sessions. Their time together was a huge benefit for Steele’s socialization and energy levels, and it was done thoughtfully and responsibly. Pamela communicated consistently throughout our time away, sending daily updates, videos, and photos. This gave us complete peace of mind knowing Steele was not only safe but happy and engaged. Her attention to detail and willingness to keep us informed truly set her apart. Equally important, Pamela treated our home with the utmost respect—she cared for it as if it were her own. We returned to a spotless house and a very content puppy, which speaks volumes about her professionalism and care. We cannot recommend Pamela highly enough. Her experience, kindness, reliability, and exceptional communication make her an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a trusted sitter—especially for high-energy or challenging puppies. We will absolutely be booking with her again.
