About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

I share my home with four cats, each one with their own style of pets and play (and their own diets). Every animal, just like every person, has their own personality. Need someone to walk your canine companions for a couple miles and then follow detailed instructions on which doggo gets what food and treats? That's me. Does your cat need someone to feed it and then sit in quietly in the same room for company without insisting on pets? That's me, too. Additionally, I have experience with administering medication to both cats and dogs (pills, inhalers, injections). I'm a remote-first professional, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Animals thrive with consistent routines, so I make a point to arrive on time and follow all owner directions. I regularly book between 7 AM and 9 PM, but currently my schedule is tight. Morning appointments are available if timing is flexible +\- a couple hours. My goal is to ensure that pets feel as safe and loved. Animals thrive on routine, so I'll be on time and follow your directions to ensure as much normalcy as possible while you're away. I have four cats, all of whom have different diets, play styles, and stranger tolerance, so I'm used to paying close attention to details. I'll earn your pets' trust by following your directions and adapting my approach to their needs. As a pet parent, I understand the importance of knowing how your companions are doing while you're away. I'll always check in with you and include pictures and updates. I'll never hesitate to reach out if I have any concerns or questions. While your pet is in my care, they are my number one priority.

About: I’ve spent my entire life growing up around many animals and always being taught to treat each one like family. I’ve taken care of many types of animals, owned multiple exotic animals of my own, co-ran a pet sitting business where at one point I was watching 13+ animals at the same time, and am comfortable with every breed, from the never ending energy of a border collie to taking it slow with a senior dog. I am a young, responsible and professional adult, I love the outdoors and taking dogs out into it, I am someone who thrives in an organized environment and am patient and more than willing to work with animals that need to build trust. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of the pets I take care of, always ensuring they are getting the mental stimulation they need as well as knowing their behavior and being able to accordingly keep them in situations they are comfortable and happy in. I work part time as a baker, I have most availability during the week M-Th, but am available most weekend afternoons/evenings. I love getting out into nature and am very willing to work with you to fit dog walks, boarding or whatever else you may need with my schedule! I live in a townhouse with a large shared park/lawn/patio area a few seconds away from my front door. I also have many many walking trails and parks within a few minutes from me that are all off of busy roads/areas and take you through forested areas, marsh, and large fields. I always carry everything I might need in any emergency situation with an animal I’m taking care of, I am always very aware of my surroundings and am very good at catching animals behaviors before any situation has escalated and am able to prevent them, from both my animals and strangers. I have spent lots of time training and many hours learning about animals and the physical warnings they show in discomfort, I have always been able to safely remove or prevent my own pets as well as clients from a stressful situation. I have no trouble standing up for my animal if a stranger isn’t taking proper care of theirs and will always ALWAYS put myself between them and harms way.

About: I have lived with dogs and cats my entire life, growing up with large dog breeds primarily. I am fine working with all types of behaviors and ages of animals and would love to care for yours! I am currently very open to any time or day of the week. I am an active person and would be happy to take dogs on long walks or hikes if they need a more active lifestyle. I cannot host dogs at my own home but would be happy to care for them at your home! I have experience house sitting, dog sitting, cat sitting, and can provide references if needed.

About: Hey there! My name is Giselle, I'm a psychology student at Western, but a bellinghamster born and raised. I have grown up with various pets with my favorites being dogs and cats of course. (Though I do have an awesome fishtank!) I've got a long history of dogsitting, housesitting, and babysitting around town! When it comes to pet sitting my number one for the animal is keeping anxiety low and quality time outdoors high. Love to go hiking on galbraith and other trails give that extra mile for the pups! I believe when it comes to pet care you gotta throw all your energy to them (no half-assing it) I care to give your pups the invigorating, joyful, and healthy exercise they deserve! Happy to stay the night and watch over packages, mail, and other various things! ☺️🐾🤘🐕 I've got great availability as a college student living at home, my schedule varies a little depending on the quarter but usually I only have classes in the middle of the day and work short dinner shifts at the Willows retirement home in town as a waitress This makes me very accessible for walks in morning/evening and a little potty break during the day. I am happy to stay over on a pull out couch and provide overnight support for your pet or just go back and forth from my home. Whatever makes you most comfortable! I have been doing housesitting, babysitting, and dogsitting for around five years and am responsible in always locking up the house and keeping things tidy. My saftey limits include: I am not comfortable with other people staying the night in the home whilst I am there as privacy and safety is important to me.
