About: Growing up on a large property in central Washington, my family enjoyed many pets. From a young age, I've cared for cats and dogs. Though my Sundays were full of many chores-- including emptying litter boxes, walking the dogs, and scooping though the yard--I was happy to do them. I graduated from WWU this spring, and am only working part-time during the summer and school year. So, I will have plenty of time to care for and pamper your pets. I don't have any pets in my current home, but come equipped with friendly roommates and space in my neighborhood to explore with your pet when needed.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. About: Growing up on a large property in central Washington, my family enjoyed many pets. From a young age, I've cared for cats and dogs. Though my Sundays were full of many chores-- including emptying litter boxes, walking the dogs, and scooping though the yard--I was happy to do them. I graduated from WWU this spring, and am only working part-time during the summer and school year. So, I will have plenty of time to care for and pamper your pets. I don't have any pets in my current home, but come equipped with friendly roommates and space in my neighborhood to explore with your pet when needed.

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
