“Kris and her family took great care of our Romy and Tilly. Tilly has lots of medical/health needs and she came back refreshed and well fed. Romy is a sweet boy but was having some behavioral issues and they took care of all of it and offered some suggestions for us to help!”

“Lenore took great care of my dog. Scout and her dog, Rook, seemed to get along and it was great to know that she was staying in a “dog friendly house.” It can be hard to leave your dog behind with a stranger, but I felt confident that she would be well cared for.”

“We highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter! She took care of our dog, Mr. Beckett while we were out of town. Not only did she provide excellent care for Mr. Beckett, but she also went above and beyond to ensure he felt loved and comfortable while we were away. We enjoyed the daily texts and pictures showing us he was safe and having a great time. Our nervousness about leaving Mr. Beckett for the first time was greatly reduced after we saw how well he was doing with her. Lisa would take him and her dog Ollie on daily adventures at the local parks. He enjoyed playing with Ollie and seemed very happy there. We will gladly use Lisa’s services in the future, she is trustworthy, loving and very in tune to our dog’s needs.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

“Danielle was fantastic with Frito. She was very friendly, punctual, and sent lots of great pictures and updates, which gave us real peace of mind. Frito came home happily exhausted, which is always a sign he had a great time.”

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.
“Susan has an excellent way with my dogs. She was gentle and calming, and helped my timid one feel safe and comfortable. I feel quite confident my pups are in good hands with her!”

“Rachel and Travis are absolutely amazing! They treat Bella like she’s part of their family. They take Bella on the walks she needs with Winter and other dogs. We are grateful we found them! 🐾”

“So glad we found Chelsea on Rover. She was able to provide excellent care for our 10mon old pup that is fearful of new people. Most Kennels won't accept him. By the end of three days her calm and friendly demeanor rubbed off on him and they were friends. We love the photo update with happy puppy faces. We are grateful for the flexibility in time pick up and the last minute add on of our second dog.”

“I have to be honest, I was hesitant to leave my two best friends with a complete stranger. Addison didn’t feel like a stranger within 5 seconds of meeting him in person. Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. Daily pictures and check-ins were sent to me unprompted, which I could not have been more appreciative of. Rover, I’m not sure if you read these reviews, but you have a gem in your hands with Addison. I will 100% be using Addison’s services in the future. Great guy, great family, and a great disposition around dogs.”

“Shannon is super communicative and quick to respond. Best sitter I’ve ever found on Rover. She actually walked my dog multiple times in one day while I boarded my pup with her. Shannon is really flexible with time and put a noticeable effort to be available at the times you need for pick up and drop off.”

“Michelle was overly flexible and provided an amazing overnight for my pup. Provided lots of updates so i could see how my anxious dog would handle the new environment. Provides lots of active time and made a trip to the lake that was very much welcome. Would recommend Michelle again in a heartbeat!”

“Great experience! Dolly was quick to respond to our texts and sent pictures while we were away which was so nice. One of our dogs is special needs and Dolly took excellent care of her. Will definitely book with Dolly again!”

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
About: I have owned dogs all my life, crazy puppies, relaxed seniors, and very hyper dogs. I can handle reactive dogs, and keep up with high energy runners. I will always bring your doggies home happy and tired! I am currently a senior in high school, and I have a part time job. Days that I can care for your pets are Saturdays before 3pm, Sundays at any time, and Wednesdays after 4. I have a large, fully fenced yard for your dog to run around in, a room with a puppy gate, and an orthopedic doggy pad for car travel.
“We boarded at Kendra’s home which is clean and tidy. Kendra was communicative and clearly experienced with dogs, I would definitely book with her again.”

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

“Thank you! Oscie came home well taken care of and very sleepy from all the play! Leslie is very knowledgeable about dog health and helped Oscie through a stomach issue while he was there. We appreciate you!”

“Emily is a wonderful pet sitter! I’m so relieved to know I have someone to watch my cat when I’m out of town, and my standards are very high! Great communication, followed my directions to a T, and kept things tidy even though I didn’t ask. She got some great pictures of my normally shy kitty, too. I recommend Emily for cat sitting.”

“Azure was absolutely amazing with our cat! She arrived each day and took great care of our fluffy boy. Azure gave updated messages, pictures and videos and went above and beyond with everything! We are very grateful and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Camille took good care of my two cats and kept up excellent communication even working thru a small snafu with the system. Very professional care - thanks Camille!”

“Lizz was very attentive and tailored her cat sitting to our cats’ needs, as opposed to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Lizz was very helpful with handling other miscellaneous requests around our house - unrelated to cat sitting. Lizz is very personable and friendly, and we felt very comfortable leaving her with our fur babies and access to our home. We will definitely request Lizz in the future!”

“Jada was wonderful! She had good questions I hadn't thought of during the meet and greet and remembered to ask about info I'd forgotten to share. She handled the quirks of our weird home like a pro. Most importantly, she took great care of our old man kitty and sent pics showing he'd clearly decided she was a good pal :) She is excellent at staying in communication (and is very nice, always a plus). Next time we are in the area, we will definitely seek her out for pet care.”

“Darien was fantastic with our cat! She usually won’t come out for anyone she doesn’t know, but by the second day she did and ended up greeting her! She has just the right calm energy for her and we will call her every time we need a cat sitter! She has been so helpful taking care of things, we couldn’t be more pleased.”

“Alena was so sweet with my pup Mochi! She gave her lots of love and attention, made sure she was well exercised, and even worked on the current commands we are teaching. Alena is punctual, safe, and communicative. She is the best dog walker and sitter around!”

“Madelyne went above and beyond taking care of my cat. She exceeded my expectations, as well as sent me daily text messages, videos, and pictures of my precious Julia. 10 out of 10 stars for sure. I highly recommend her if you want your pet more than well taken care of. ❤️❤️I’ll definitely use her again.”

“Patricia took care of 3 cats with very different needs and personalities, as well as a gecko. One of my cats is seldom even seen by an unfamiliar caregiver , but Patricia was able to develop a relationship with her rather quickly! I would choose Patricia every time!”

“Aiden did an excellent job of taking care of our cat Wayne! Wayne warmed right up to Aiden and came out for pets and to play each visit. We will definitely be booking him for petsitting again.”

“Anna was terrific. I had just moved to a new town, where I didn't know anybody, a few days before when I had to leave suddenly for a family emergency. I needed to be gone for at least a week. My cats hadn't even had time to adjust after the move. Anna accepted a last minute request, and remained flexible as plans changed in the unsettled situation I faced. Her updates were thorough, and a break from the stressful situation I faced. My cats grew to love her, and I returned to three very happy and well adjusted cats.”

“Marisa was an excellent cat sitter for our 2 year old cat! She communicated through out the entire experience and gave wonderful care to our feline. I’d 100% recommend Marisa and would trust her to watch our dear pet again in the future.”

“Lindsay took away all my stress and anxiety about leaving my cat while away! Great communication and followed my instructions perfectly. Would highly recommend:)”

“Kris is so wonderful! I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! Their little Rosie and my pup Freyja played so much and I got to take home a veryyyyyy exhausted puppy after a long day of work. I will DEFINITELY be going back.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

About: Hi there! My name is Morgan 🐾. Baby (my fur-baby) and I just moved back to Bellingham. I would love to keep your fur companions company while you’re at work (treats aren’t cheap ☺️), travel, etc. I want your fur-baby or babies to have fun and be loved all while we keep their schedule/routine while you’re away. I have experience working for a Doggy Daycare and Boarding company in Los Angeles where I worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I enjoyed working with all breeds and loved when I got to see their individual personalities! I have always loved animals, but dogs have always been my favorite. My dream home isn’t really home, more like a big ol ranch where I can rescue as many dogs as possible! My family has a running joke that I must have treats in my pockets, because I always find the doggos that are in need. I greet dogs before their owners! I sometimes forget that there is a human at the other end of the leash! I hope to hear from you soon and I hope to meet your doggo friends/family! I work Monday-Friday, so my hours are limited but I would love to still help families in need of pet care. I will always try my best to accommodate your pets needs. I always like to do a meet and greet before any services, if possible. Before booking pet sitting, walks and drop-ins I would love to get to know your routine, so you’re loved ones stay safe and comfortable.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.
“Pelos had a great day with Yvonne! We know she was in good hands. We received updates throughout the day which we enjoyed. We will continue to use her dog sitting services :)”

About: Animals have been at the center of our lives for more than 30 years. From raising and breeding dogs for two decades to working hands on with animals of all kinds, we bring a lifetime of experience, deep knowledge, and grounded compassion to the way we care for pets. As the co-founder of a rescue organization, we have worked with dogs of every breed, temperament, and medical condition. We have supported animals through trauma, healing, old age, and everything in between. This is not just something we do. It is who we are. Together as a mother and daughter team, we run a quiet, private boarding facility for dogs who need more than just a place to stay. Some of the dogs who stay with us are seniors. Some are recovering from surgery or dealing with medical conditions. Some are just emotionally wired for quiet and routine. And some are perfectly healthy but do best in a calm, structured environment. All of them are cared for by the same two people, every day. We do not run a social daycare model. We do not hand your dog off to a rotation of staff. What we offer is consistent, thoughtful, one on one care in a setting designed for peace and safety. Each dog has a large private indoor suite with access to a quiet outdoor run. Our days are structured around rest, movement, enrichment, and calm interaction. We have a fully fenced three acre pasture for supervised off leash time, a heated indoor room for colder days, and plenty of space to stretch, relax, and breathe. We welcome all dogs who do well in this kind of space. We specialize in senior care, special needs, and recovery, but also offer standard boarding for dogs who thrive in a low stress setting. Caring for animals is not a side job here. It is the center of our lives. And we are honored to offer a place where your dog will be safe, known, and truly cared for. Caring for dogs is our daily focus. Every part of our routine is built around making sure the dogs in our care are safe, settled, and cared for. We adjust feeding, potty breaks, walks, and enrichment based on each dog’s needs and schedule, not just a one size fits all plan. We are a mother and daughter team with decades of hands-on experience. Every dog stays in a private indoor suite with a quiet outdoor run and is cared for directly by us. Our three acre fenced pasture allows for secure off leash time, and we also offer group play — but only for dogs who truly enjoy it and do well in that setting. We keep the environment calm, structured, and predictable, with a focus on safety and individual attention.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.
About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.
“Avielle was easy to communicate with and her dog Toby is super friendly and immediately went into play mode with Sprocket. She kept me updated with pictures and text throughout the day and when we picked up Sprocket we was all tuckered out from playing all day. Thanks Avielle, would happily have you watch him again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.
“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

About: Animals are my passion, and I’ve devoted my life to helping them. I have 25 years of experience rescuing and fostering dogs and cats and volunteering at rescues. I’ve cared for hundreds of pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have plenty of experience helping animals with special health or behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication (pills or injections) or just some extra TLC, they’re in safe, loving hands. I am available 7 days a week and at home 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands. My priority is your pet's safety and happiness, so I spend as much time with them as possible. I decided to start offering daycare and boarding after briefly working at a dog daycare, where I was appalled at the uncaring treatment the dogs received. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I will go above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Dogs stay cage-free during the day in a cozy lounge designed just for them, with a large tv that plays dog friendly shows, couches, beds, toys, dog puzzles and more. I also make homemade treats and food that your dog is welcome to while they stay here. We’ll also enjoy leashed adventures on my 2.5-acre property. Cats have their own spacious room with climbing trees, cozy beds, scratching posts, and large windows for bird-watching. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. I Your beloved pet is part of my family while they stay here, and they will always have my full attention. About: I've always had pets in my life, and caring for animals is second nature to me. I have a degree in veterinary medicine (though I don’t practice in a clinic), and I now work for a conservation nonprofit from home with my own beloved dog and cat. This means I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, walks, and playtime for your pet. Whether your pup needs some exercise, your cat wants company, or you'd like someone to work from your home while keeping your pet happy, I’m here to help! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to fit in walks, visits, and playtime throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a midday stroll, some company while you’re away, or a quiet presence at home, I can adjust to their needs. I have a fenced yard for a safe and secure outdoor space, and I always follow the pet owner's instructions to ensure their pet's routine, comfort, and well-being. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize a calm, trusted environment where pets feel safe and cared for.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

“We were very impressed with Emily's excellent communication. Shackleton had a wonderful time with her and she was fanatic at managing a large and opinionated doggo! We highly recommend Emily for dog walking and will definitely request her in the future when we need a walker.”

“Camille was responsive in communication, arrived promptly, flexible with times when needed, and Sassa loved walking with her. I'm very grateful for her support in caring for my dog.”

I will always respect your pets routine, boundaries, and do whatever they need to help them feel safe and happy while you are away! I am happy to provide walks, drop in visits, or overnight stays. “Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

“Jada is amazing! You can tell when someone is experienced with dogs and Jada clearly is. She is a calming influence with my Great Dane Lily and Lily loves her time with Jada.”

About: I have provided care for dogs and cats for over 20+ years. I was the first to volunteer in my youth to "stay home" with the animals. “Keegan was great with our dog! We have a one year old golden retriever who can be high energy and gets very excited with new people. Keegan did great on walks with him - you can tell she loves animals. We’d happily have her walk/watch him again!”

About: I have over 5 years of dog walking experience and have been a pet lover my whole life! I look forward to helping your animals thrive and love life even more!! I have a very flexible schedule but between 7:30 am and 7 pm work best for me to watch over and care for your pets! Don’t feel afraid to reach out for scheduling outside of my preferred times though! I have an extremely friendly shepsky who would always love to join me while walking your dog(s) or taking care of your cats and/or dogs but he is 100lbs so I will always ask if that’s conducive with your wants and needs!
“Audrey looks out for the details when caring for our dogs. Amid freezing weather, we forgot to leave out the dog’s winter jackets, but she knew where they were in the garage and added them for the walk.”

About: Hi there- my name is Isabel and I am passionate about providing quality animal care! I have grown up around all kinds of animals, but dogs have a special place in my heart. I have experience in senior dog care as well as puppy care. I currently work weekends, so I am available during each weekday except for: Monday after 4pm and Tuesday after 4 pm due to my school schedule. I currently live in an apartment building with a fenced dog run in the back. I also live right next to cordata park and have reliable access to get around for more walking options.
About: I grew up on a farm, caring for dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, parakeets, a baby duck and a baby bunny. I've always had animals, until I lost my last one less than a year ago. I crave animal companionship. I'm the person my friends call to look after their animals and homes. I need animal time! I also enjoy traveling and being in new spaces, so I'm willing to house sit as well. I like to walk every day, so I'm looking for canine companions! I can easily zip around town for visits. I am flexible about changes. I enjoy the variety of house-sitting and pet-sitting. I like to leave a place better than I found it. Every pet parent has a different philosophy, so I am happy to snuggle in bed or provide discipline, whichever is requested.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was 13. I have experience in petsitting through family, friends and neighbors. Animals have always been in my life and their needs adjust my daily life. I’m currently a university student who is studying computer science. So a lot of my homework/ assignments are done on a computer meaning I’m home for most of the day! I have lots of extra time to interact/ have fun with a pet at home :) Walking: I provide long and stimulating walks with lots of sniffing, playing and exercise. Drop ins: I really enjoy these! I love greeting dogs and providing them with the mental/ physical stimulation they need for the day! ( I have lots of ideas prepared everyone’s different personality/size/activity) Boarding/ sitting: not available right now
About: I’ve taken care of animals for a decade now, pet sitting for family members, friends and my partner during those years. I consider every animal as an individual who seeks love just as we do, and desires security just the same. As their caregiver, I am more than happy to provide these basic needs and connect as best I can with your fur baby! I’m currently unemployed with the aim to work part-time throughout summer. My schedule at the moment is wide open to care for as many pets as possible. I will ensure your pet’s safety every minute of my visit, and will prioritize building trust first and foremost. Your animal’s emotional and physical health will never be overlooked.
“Morgan is amazing! She really helped me out when I was in a pinch with a last minute booking. Even interrupted her Valentine’s Day plans to chat with me. Would love to work with her again.”

“We feel super lucky to have found Lindsay! She is obviously a dog person and is very attentive to and understanding of our dogs “quirks”. Lindsay was punctual and has had great communication. Apart from that, she’s very kind and a pleasure to chat with. We’ll definitely keep rebooking!”

“Lenore took great care of my dog. Scout and her dog, Rook, seemed to get along and it was great to know that she was staying in a “dog friendly house.” It can be hard to leave your dog behind with a stranger, but I felt confident that she would be well cared for.”

About: (My pets listed in my profile do not live with me at my address so if boarding with me your pets will be the only ones in my home.) I have taken care of a multitude of animals from a young age being entrusted with neighbors, family and friend's pets. My experience includes working with dogs (of all sizes and temperaments), cats, rodents, reptiles, goats, rabbits, chickens, horses and birds. I even took care of some wonderful peregrine falcons once. From a young age I worked in animal rehabilitation and have nursed infant animals and enjoy nothing more than being able to spend time and play with such wonderful creatures. I have also taken puppy training classes in the past and plan to have a future career with animals. Over the summer I work as a server and as such would likely be away for 3-4 hour periods usually in the evenings. However, I recognize the attention and care animal caretaking requires and will happily work with you to make sure your pet gets the love and attention needed while you are away. I am able to take 1-2 animals into my own home with a size constraint on larger pets due to my buildings regulations. I would like to note that I do live in an apartment complex however I am right next to walking and hiking paths. Additionally, I do live with a roommate who is also a huge animal lover. When house sitting, for pets of any size or kind I am always willing to come into your home and will treat such a space with the utmost respect.

“Shawn and family took such great care of Pertie. They were so patient and loving with her while she adjusted to a new place. Their dog Hazel and her got along great. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was so well looked after. Shawn gave us updates with pictures everyday and was quick to respond. We would absolutely leave her with Shawn again in the future.”

“Cade and his family took wonderful care of our pup Luna. We were overseas for 3 weeks, which felt like an eternity away from her, but we felt happy & confident in the care she was receiving. This was our first time leaving her anywhere so we couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious. Cade sent updates and photos almost daily and that was great for us. Seeing her & hearing how she was doing helped us feel at ease. They made her part of the family & she got lots of love and attention. The huge enclosed outdoor space they have is beautiful for roaming, walks & hanging out in the sun. We could see how much Cade loves dogs and his knowledge and experience was helpful and welcomed as Luna has only been with us for 6 months. We will absolutely bring Luna back to Cade’s anytime we need boarding for her. Thank you Cade :)”

“Trinity did a great job of looking after our senior blind/diabetic dog. Kept us informed on how she was doing. She had no problems with her special feeding schedule and giving her the insulin injection.”

“Kristyn took amazing care of our dog! This was our first time using rover and we were so pleased. She took him on so many fun adventures and he came home so happy! We got so many nice photo updates so we knew he was in great hands. Booked another time and will continue to do so in the future!”
