About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teenager, I started volunteering at Misty Pines Dog Park Co., gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and personalities. Later, I shadowed a professional trainer at Sandy Hill Kennels, where I helped with puppy training classes and learned a lot about dog behavior. When I turned 16, I officially joined the Sandy Hill team as a staff member, caring for dogs of all kinds. Now I'm 23, and have the privilege of working from home. I've always had a dog in my life, and right now, I share my home with two—Tucker, my 11-year-old rough collie who looks just like Lassie, and Ginger, my 6-year-old rescue hound mix who fully embraces the lazy hound stereotype! Since I work from home, I get to spend my days with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I’d be honored to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! I work from home during the week (9-5), so I’m always around to give plenty of attention to the pets in my care. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, they’ll never feel lonely. I’m also free on weekends, so I have plenty of flexibility to fit your pet’s needs. My home has a 4ft high, fenced-in yard, giving dogs plenty of space to play safely. However, I do live near active train tracks, so if your pet is sensitive to train horns, it may be best for me to care for them in your home. The sound is loud when you're standing outside as the trains pass by, but inside, it’s much quieter since our house is brick. My dogs don’t pay any mind to the train horn, though, so if yours are less sensitive, they’ll be just fine! At night, my two dogs sleep in their crates in my office, and I have spare crates if your pup prefers a cozy setup near me. Of course, I’ll always follow whatever sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable! During the day, my dogs are happy to keep your pup company, and they love having new friends around. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home!

About: I have an innate connection with animals and I am generally receptive to their moods because I'm always looking to their cues on how to proceed. As a lifetime pet owner I understand the hesitancy in finding outside care for your pet, and I have passed on trips due to a lack of reliable trustworthy options. I am now in a place where I can help others that find themselves in a similar position! I am very communicative throughout the scheduling process, as I am also available to board animals. I would be happy to provide pick up or drop off for your pet! It is important to me that you and your pets are as comfortable as possible. I require a meet and greet prior to accepting a booking to ensure I can provide the optimal care your specific pets needs. Regardless as to our location, your pet and where their attention is focused, is my first priority! At my home, my kids and I look forward to having the opportunity to distract your pets with love and attention while you are away 😊

About: We've taken care of our inside dogs for many years. Love and care for them. Have had up to 5 of our own at the same time. Each day has playtime, both inside and out, walking exercise and of course snuggle time! Activities can be customized to meet the needs of your pets. We have 5 acres and an invisible fence for our dog. We take visiting dogs out on a leash. Our dog is neutered male and very friendly. We treat dogs like a member of the family! Beth works from home, and Thane is retired with much time to spend with your dogs! If we need to go out, only one of us leaves at a time. We are back off any main roads or highways with 5 acres for walking and playing. Dogs can be outside lazing on of our porches in good weather.

She got to the point where she would whine to go to her house in the morning to play with Duke (Briana’s friendly and gentle lab) and get lots of love. About: Disclaimer: My husband & I share 50/50 custody of our 12yr old daughter; she may be home with us during part of your dogs stay. My husband will be home every evening as well, however, I am the sole care taker for your pets while they're with us. How it started: In 2022, we got Baelfire (Bae) at 8 wks old and she lit a "crazy dog mom" type of love in me that I now feel needs shared with all the dogs. In my twenties, I would occasionally stay over other people's houses to care for their animals (dogs, cats, turtles) but it wasn't until Bae when I got into pet care regularly. I am comfortable with up to three dogs total (so, mine plus two) of any breed or size. Just a note- we also have 3 cats. Our cats have their own room they can go to that dogs do not have access to without supervision. I work from home, four days a week, meaning I am always available to the animals staying with me. I have off Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays- for adventures. What your dog gets: *a new bestie! About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have experience bathing, walking and grooming. I would take care of your animal like they were my own. I work full time. I could let out pets before work, on lunch and after work. Stay at my house during the day and I also could do overnights on Fridays. I have 2 small dogs (Yorkie and Chichi) I also have a crate available if you prefer this for when I am not home during the day. I do have an older child who would be home in the afternoon so your dog wouldn't be crated all day.

About: I am so excited to meet your furry friends! I will play with your pets all day, go for a walk/run, and cuddle up for some compassion. I have always cared for my neighbor's pets, so I thought I could help out more community members. Your pets will miss you, but they will have so much fun in the meantime! I am between degrees, so I have a very free schedule. I have a but of traveling coming up, but when I am here, I am available. I can be at your house whenever you need. I will ensure your fur baby is well taken care of according to their normal routine to ensure a healthy and happy experience. I want to take things off your plate, not add to them.

About: I grew up caring for dogs and decided to get my own as soon as I could! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can give extra care and attention to your furry friend! I have a large house on multiple acres of land so there is plenty of space to play. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and can usually adjust my schedule to fit your needs. This also allows me to take frequent breaks for potty and play. My two small dogs are unleashed in our home, and they are friendly and love to play with other dogs! I do not have a crate, but if you bring one, would be happy to use it upon request.

About: Hi! I just moved to Butler about a year ago and looking to get back into Rover! I did it for about a year or two in Missouri. I have an electric fence but I ONLY would use the collar with parents permission. If not, I will walk them out or put them on a lead. I’ve always taken care of dogs since forever basically lol I’ve always had a dog throughout my life and I currently have 2 friendly fur babies myself. Ninno-boxer and Skye-lab mix. I have had mostly bigger dogs, like boxers labs golden retrievers pit bulls and border collies. I can bathe if needed with your permission and they’re comfort level. My dogs are on flea and tick shots they get once a month. I work from home so I’m always here. Your baby will rarely be alone and if so, it’s only to run to get groceries and occasional times out. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have half an acre for them to run around as they please and a few dog beds for their comfort. I have two dogs that can provide tons of fun and exercise, but with your permission we can also go for walks/runs.

About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! Please chose us to care for your fur friends whether it’s a walk or a overnight stay in our home! We will treat them with the utmost love and care! We are available for stays and walks in our home from Thursday until Sunday night. We work from home Thursday and Fridays so can walk them whenever needed! We have a nice back yard but do not currently have a fence (at this time). We can walk the dogs in our backyard with a leash and or take them to nearby parks. We do have a dog bed and dog water/food bowels with plenty of space in our 2200 sq.ft home.

About: Hello! Thank you for considering our family to be a vacation stay for your dog! Below are some details about us, our home and our experience with dog sitting. About this sitter: I have been a sitter with Rover for about 5 years, and have loved it! My husband and I both work from home, me as a contractor and my husband as the founder and CEO of our music lesson business. Our work enables us to be flexible and home more than most, which we are extremely grateful for. We love animals and I have had dogs and cats my entire life. Our three children also love animals. They are very gentle and calm around animals, as we have taught them how to treat animals kindly and with respect, no pulling on tails or stealing toys here! Why I love dog sitting I got my first family dog, a LasoApso/Poodle mix, when I was 6, rescued from the shelter. Since then, I have always had dog(s) and/or cat(s), including one three-legged cat and later, an epileptic dog who had two reconstructive knee surgeries! Later in life, we enrolled a puppy we adopted into an intensive training and obedience program, in which we were also trained in proper dog handling. We have had dogs of all sizes, from a miniature poodle to a 100lb chocolate lab…all of which were lap dogs…even the giant lab! Meet my pets We have two 5 month old male kittens that get along great with dogs, and usually don't even pay them any attention. We have no other dogs. About my home and yard We live in a 3 story home with hardwood floors. We have an open back yard with a lead to make sure that our dog guests can safely enjoy being outside and still stay on our property. We do have steps leading to both the front and back door into the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, we can administer medication. Over the years I have had multiple pets with special needs which required medication. Our family loves animals and we're ready to love yours! We work from home so we will have plenty of time to care for and love your pet! We absolutely love having furry friends in our home and as part of our daily life. We try and keep things in our home consistent with how things are in the owners home. If the dogs get free reign at their house, they will have free reign here (as long as they are potty trained and house broken). We are also happy to use a crate if that is what they are used to. We do have a large dog crate here and plenty of toys, so there is no need to transport a crate. We have a lead in the back yard to make sure that all dog guests are safe and on our property during potty breaks and outside time.

About: I’ve always been around dogs, large or small, and have given them so much love! Walks, rewards, and possible car rides if your pup loves them! Currently working from home so I have a lot of time to give your dog the care he/she needs! I also have a dog myself! I have a dog myself where we go on daily walks and play all the time, so your dog will be well loved here with us! I have toys, treats, food, and a crate if need be!
