Although I’m new to Rover, I have years of personal experience caring for pets and I’m committed to providing safe, loving care and clear communication. I am currently a college student, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent and reliable pet care. About: I’m a pet owner, I have 2 chihuahua mixes that are 5 years old and have had them since they were 6 weeks old. I have taken care of my dogs as well as dog sitting for family friends. I’m currently working part-time while home for the summer, and have plenty of free time to take care of your pups! I follow the pet’s normal routine, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure food, water, and medications, if needed, are handled correctly. “Alica took care of our border collie the week of Christmas. He is a senior, a rescue dog, very anxious and has a difficult time warming up to a new caregiver. She is obviously very patient and a pet whisperer, as by the second day our boy was actively playing with her in the backyard, going on walks and giving her kisses - not just holed up back on his bed as is typical when we travel. Alica's communication is excellent - sending updates and pictures on a regular basis. This was very appreciated, and it allowed us to totally relax while on our trip knowing our boy was in good hands! She also stayed over several of the nights, brought our mail and packages in and left our home in wonderful shape. We definitely plan to have Alica pet and house sit for us again, and we highly recommend her services.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for ten years now, form puppies to kittens to now grown animals. I have two golden retrievers and three cats. I enjoy training puppies and getting puppy licks, I love walking dogs and playing fetch, I also enjoy giving cat cuddles if their social. I’m positive I can bring the love and care your pet needs. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am home on the weekends. I’m available to give checks in morning/lunch/evening if required. No pet or pet parents should have to worry whether their pet is being cared for properly. I have a fenced yard and two happy dogs to give your dog company if needed.
