Clarity is an elderly, fragile little lap dog who needs a lot of sensitive care and attention. Stephanie listened carefully to her needs and provided her exceptional care. The other dog, Bubba, is tough, strong, highly independent, energetic, and intense, with a prey drive; he loves to play with toys and run fast. Stephanie regularly sent me photos and updates of the fun times he was having in the yard—for example, or of Clarity getting comfy in various spots in her home. Also, I appreciated that on short notice, Stephanie came right over and picked up my dogs. She also dropped them off for me, too, as I requested, so they’d be here to greet me when I arrived home. About: I've been around all kinds of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters, rabbits and even ducks. Besides the family pets, I had my own dog since he was 4 months and passed at 13 years, my own cat who was the feral barn cat turned domesticated & living with me until she passed at about 14 years and my own horse I had since I was 10 until he passed at almost 39 years old. I have been around cats my entire life. We've had many barn cats turn domesticated in our house. I know cats can be wildly indpendent and I respect that of them. I can also give cats meds. Animals are my love and passion.

I've been caring for them since I was 10 years old, and today I'm still the person family and friends call first for dog advice or when they need someone they completely trust with their pets. We work from home, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches of the day. I am extremely attentive with leash handling and strongly advocate for secure, fenced areas for any off-leash time. I triple-check doors and gates and remain aware that other animals’ behavior is unpredictable. While I may visit dog parks if requested, I approach them with caution and close supervision. I also follow professional sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, healthy environment for every pet in my care. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely safe, informed, and at ease!
About: I currently have 2 dogs - Morkies (Yorkies and Maltese mix). Pets have always been a part of my life. Family and friends tell me that I treat my dogs like they are people; I say that I just love them and they love me. You can be sure that I would love and care for your pets just as much. I have an 8' fenced back yard, with security cameras. I enjoy being outside with your furbabies and will provide that extra level of security when they are running around in the backyard. I have hard floors for easy clean-up. I also provide extra blankets to keep your furbabies warm. I also have a separate eating area set up for your furbabies. I keep one extra crate, if needed when you bring your dog.

“Jackson (my cocker spaniel) is VERY suspicious of new people. It takes him a long time before he is comfortable. I let Lawence know this upfront and he assured me that it would be fine. Before Jackson started his walk schedule, Lawrence met up with Jackson and myself to introduce himself. Jackson was still quite suspicious of this new person but was not hostile or mean. Lawrence started walking Jackson and at first, Jackson was hesitant to go walking with this stranger. After about 2 weeks, Jackson knows Lawrence, even knows his car when he pulls up and wags his stub in anticipation of his walk. I appreciate that Lawrence took it slow and let Jackson define the terms of their relationship....LOL.”

Whenever we drop her off she's wagging her and tail and excited to see Melissa again! Melissa and her boyfriend are very active, they are always taking Collins on long walks or hikes. They send lots of pictures and keep me in the loop about how Collins is doing. They have also been really flexible with pick up and drop off and even dropped Collins off at our house one time when we couldn't be there to pick her up.
