I can’t believe how lucky the dogs and me are to have found Trent! From the very first moment during the meet and greet, I felt Trent’s authenticity and sincere care for my critters. Love it that he speaks dog language and knows how to approach them; which worked especially well for my timid female, whippet. Thank you for taking the time to let them warm up to you when you came back to give them a walk. Trent is a rare find for the perfect mix of responsibility, dependability, communication, and warmth for my fur babies!

About: *As a part time college student some days I might be gone several hours at a time. My schedule (excluding driving time) is as follows: Monday: Class in Boise from 10am to 11:15am Wednesday: Class in Nampa from 7pm to 9:45pm Thursday: Class in Nampa from 12pm to 2:45pm We can discuss my schedule further to see if I could be a good fit. I love pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking when I'm not focusing on school. I also volunteer at the local zoo in my spare time to help spread awareness of their conservation efforts through education by taking out ambassador animals, taking out biofacts, running animal encounters, working directly with keepers, and preparing animal diets. I have 3 pets of my own; 1 dog & 2 birds. I have my 10 year old Husky and Shar Pei mix named Porsha, a Blue Crowned Conure named Zuri, and a Yellow-collared Lovebird named Juno. All 3 are trick trained and working toward their titles through Do More With Your Dog. *As a part time college student some days I might be gone several hours at a time. I start school August 18th. We can discuss my schedule further to see if I would be a good match. I'm a college student available over summer break and holidays. I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend. Even during the semester I can always do weekends and check ins with your pets. I care for pets in my client's homes by making sure I know any medical history the pets may have, what regular vet and emergency vet they'd prefer if something were to happen, how they feed and water their pets, any medication I should administer, any exercise or enrichment I should provide, and space for pets I'm sure who are missing their owners.

About: Trained, fostered and rehomed puppies and older dogs for the past ten years until I fell in love with a husky rescue and next thing I know Im sometimes dog sitting 4 additional huskies for my friends along side my own. Along with my husky I have now two cats and at this point Im no longer fostering and instead just sitting and helping out. Ive also heavily worked with farm animals, especially goats, and I have many aquariums and am familiar with caring for reptiles as well. I always wanted to be a biologist and extensively studied animal behavior before realizing Id make more money as an engineer so pet sitting is how I get my animal time now Im an engineer (information security) who works from home most days. I usually use my lunch breaks and tough problems as an excuse to take the husky for a hike, or to play with the cats or husky. If your dog gets along with dogs, I love mutually burning their energy with my own at a dog park. Enrichment games like “wait and search” Ive noticed keep every dog happy. If there is a safe walking path near your house, I can easily take the pup for a jog. Your animal will be leashed and I will be watching their body language to make sure at all times they arent being stressed out by too many new things. If they have a destructive streak in them I have some games involving cardboard boxes or old toys that I found redirecting destructive dogs to can really help With cats its a tough one, I like playing with cats but Ive been around cats that very much miss their people so I clean the litter box, once over the home for any messes which I then clean, top off food and water, and then I try to see if they want to either play or at least interact. Friendlier cats I of course play with and even try to give them some enrichment, I taught my own cats to play fetch. All other pets like fish that are very sensitive to over feeding I pay very close attention to how much and how often, being aware of how easy it is to trigger a bacterial or algea bloom. On top of food I monitor sunlight and I check all terrariums and aquariums for hitchhikers (my first aquarium taught me about the dangers of dragonfly nymphs)

About: I've worked as a pet care taker for over ten years. Each pet I take care of, I treat them like my own. I'm a valued care taker because I am reliable and a hard worker. The families I have worked for in the past enjoyed my work ethic and how I enjoy having two or more jobs at a time. Eventually I would enjoy this being full time so I can exercise and play with them all day. If you need help on short notice, if I'm off work, I will not mind helping out. No dog is too much for me. I have watched Little dogs and big dogs. I have watched four dogs at once. Two were little and two were big. I walked all four at once.

About: I've always had one or more dog in the house since I was born. I can't imagine a house without a dog. We've had quite a bit of practice with obedience training. I believe a well behaved dog is a great dog. With life on the farm (orchards and vineyards) there's plenty of space to take the dogs for a walk. We also have a wonderful yard with 1/2 acre of grass to play in. Can't wait to meet your doggy! I'm currently working from home, so there's plenty of time for me to meet your pup's needs throughout the day and night. I'm available each of the 5 days of the week and on the weekends. I have a yellow lab at home to keep your pup company. We also have 2 cats in the home. I like to keep the dogs socialized during the day for plenty of play time. I can separate dogs when they need a break, either by crate or separate rooms. During the night, I prefer dogs to sleep in their own crate. I have a large spare crate to utilize or you can bring your own if you prefer.

About: I’ve always believed pets are family, and I treat every dog I care for with the same love and attention I give my own. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with pups at every stage of life from teaching puppies the basics to giving senior dogs the extra patience and gentle care they deserve. I’m also comfortable with medications, special diets, and tailoring walks or playtime to each dog’s personality. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just sitting quietly with a shy pup, I make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. My goal is for you to feel at ease knowing your best friend is being cared for like one of my own. I do work three days a week at a hospital so the hours are long but when I’m not doing that I have a lot of free time. I do have 2 of my own dogs at home that get a lot of attention.Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy. I keep my schedule flexible so I can be available for walks, drop-ins, or longer stays when needed. Whether it’s morning walks to start the day, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I love building my day around caring for pets and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. In my home, pets are welcomed like part of the family. I make sure they have a safe, cozy space to relax, plenty of playtime, and lots of love and attention throughout the day. Walks, potty breaks, and snuggles are all part of the routine, and I adjust everything to match their usual schedule so they feel comfortable and at ease. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as familiar as possible. I follow your instructions closely whether it’s feeding times, favorite toys, or special routines so your pet feels secure in their own space. I always make sure they get the exercise, companionship, and care they need, along with plenty of updates so you know how they’re doing.

About: I’ve raised dogs ever since I can remember. I care about them so deeply. I’ve raised dozens of litters of pups. I care about how they feel and if they feel safe. I want them to be comfortable with me. They’re so naturally caring and sweet; they deserve it back. I currently work every Thursday to dog sit. I am available Monday through Sunday, except for Thursday. I’m already use to caring for dogs so doing this would be great. It fits perfectly, it’s part of my everyday. I can easily crate dogs. I have trained mine to do so. I have a fenced yard and live in the countrysides. I feed my dogs every morning and night, varying on how much they ate that day. My dogs wear diapers, I change them multiple times a day. I care for my senior dog, two pups, and their mom.

About: Hi! I’m Callie, a 19 year old with a lifelong love for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I grew up showing pigs and rabbits, and helped raise everything from cows and goats to chickens, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even hamsters! Being around animals isn’t just something I enjoy, it’s second nature. I understand the routines, the quirks, and the care that each pet needs to feel happy, safe, and loved. Whether your pet needs a brisk walk, a check-in while you're away, or a little extra TLC, I’m here to help. You can count on me for reliable, kind-hearted care, just like you’d give if you were home. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members. Let’s make sure they’re well cared for while you’re away! I graduated high school in 2024. Since I have been working on my long term plans. I have tried a couple things and am doing Rover while I work to find something long term and to satisfy my love for animals. I come to your home and use your tools as directed so that your pet feels the love and is comfortable with the process. Its a win win!

About: I've taken in and cared for many varieties of pet pets. I love their true nature and genuine attitude, all animals are kind at heart if you give them time and patience. Pet care fits into my daily routine with exercise, socializing and just some relaxing time with a side companion. I am available for outside pet care Fridays-Tuesdays, as well as over nights with enough notice. My baby is a husky/wolf of 15 years, I adopted him at 6 months from a shelter when I was 18. He came to me with trauma and still has his moments, but he is trained and a loving teddybear. 😊
