âRoy was an excellent fit for Whiskey he had plenty of time room and energy for our little doofus to play A+ communication and the regular updates and photos were a wonderful way to add peace of mind my wife and I couldnât recommend him highly enoughâ

About: I love animals đ I wasnât allowed to have a pet growing up, but I would always jump at the opportunity to pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors! I have experience with puppies, and older dogs alike, including administering medication if necessary. My pup is pretty timid, so Iâm very familiar with dogs who are anxious or shy. Iâm a realtor that mainly works on weekends, and I spend most of my time at home with my sweet dog, Mimosa, so I have plenty of time to keep your pet company! I live in a beautiful neighborhood full of parks, including a dog park in my apartment complex. I also have a 5 year old, 22 pound, terrier at home, so your fur baby wonât be bored! I have tons of dog toys, a comfy crate with lots of blankets if thatâs what makes your pup feel safeđ¤
âI felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Marissa and Thom, despite this being our very first experience with Rover. Daisy gets along great with their dog and came home EXHAUSTED! (which was definitely the goal) Happy dog!â

About: What sets me apart is being home full-time to provide constant companionship, plus having a friendly French bulldog who's great with other dogs for socialization and play. My two teenage boys absolutely love pets and will provide even more attention and interaction throughout the day. My securely fenced yard gives pets plenty of safe exercise space, and I have specific experience with French bulldogs and brachycephalic breeds, including understanding their special needs around breathing, temperature, and exercise limits. This knowledge also helps me provide attentive care for senior dogs or pets with special requirements. Pet care fits seamlessly into my family's routine. I start with morning walks and feeding, then take natural breaks throughout the day for quick walks or play sessions, I provide pet care in both my home and clients' homes, depending on what works best for each pet and family. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can play safely and get plenty of exercise. My friendly French bulldog loves having companions and is great with other dogs, so visiting pets get both human attention and canine socialization.

âSo very glad that Margaret took good care of my little fur baby while I was on my cruise! She even sent me pictures and trained Daisy to use a doggie door!â

About: I've been taking care of dogs for many years now. I worked in the field as an animal care assistant for almost 8 years and also babysat many dogs and cats during those years. I do have experience, but most of all, I love every dog as my own and I will make sure they are well-taken care of, safe and happy. I currently work from home and I have a flexible schedule. I have a lot of extra time to watch, spend time and play with your pet. I have a fenced yard and big backyard for your pet to roam around, play and burn some energy. I currently do not have any other pet of my own so your fur baby will receive lots of attention and love.

âJustin was fantastic with my dog, Schnitzel, during his 6.5 hour daycare. Justin provided a homey and playful environment, followed his feeding/med schedules, took him outside for potty breaks and communicated a progress report. Check marks to every expectation.â

âRobert was fantastic with my high energy, spirited husky! He communicated quickly and even sent me updates and photos throughout the day. I will definitely seek Robert out again in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup. Thanks so much Robert!â

About: I've grown up with all kinds of pets and especially dogs and cats my whole life. I love to go on walks and play with my pets all of the time, and can't help but want to take care of as many pets as possible! I've had experience fostering dogs through the iResq pet rescue in Colorado Springs for half a year, and through the Elk Grove Animal Shelter in Elk Grove, CA. I have also boarded dogs/cats for friends and family. Iâm a proud mama of a dog and 2 cats, and I have a young son who is a wonderful and enthusiastic helper. I am detailed oriented and will work to provide the best and safest experience for your pet. I am very flexible with scheduling, so if anything were to come up and a cancellation is needed, Iâm very understanding. I live near quite a few parks and trails for walks/outdoor time. Feel free to contact me anytime your need care for your pet(s) :) My schedule is almost always open first thing in the morning for dog walks. Friday through Sunday I have an open schedule for boarding, walks, in-home sitting and any other needs. Iâm a student at Sac State, so as long as it does not conflict with my class schedule, I am readily available. Within my own home I have multiple gates to set up separate spaces for the pets to move around. For cats there are plenty of cat towers and spaces where they can safely escape to and decompress. I have a fenced yard fully enclosed so that potty time is safe and secure.
âLaura is amazing she took care of my pup and even did training with him. I was so nervous but Laura is a warm and sweet person. She sent updates throughout the day and pictures. It was a weight lifted off of me knowing he was in good hands.â

âDeborah is a very attentive and loving with our pups. She takes them on 2 walks a day, plays with them, sends loads of pictures and even bathes them sometimes! I would recommend her for dog sitting and doggy daycare. Thank you Deborah for taking such good care of our Mousse and Piperoo!â
âTresa is absolutely wonderful! I am so happy to have found her on Rover. She is excellent at communicating, and even works with my very early mornings! My dog clearly loves doggy day care with her and itâs such a relief for when I have to be gone.â

âApril was great. She really took time to ask a lot of questions to get familiar with Romeo. Romeo is somewhat of a high maintenance dog due to his face folds and food allergies. She kept in contact sending updates on how he was doing as well as lots of pics. Romeo looked like he really had a good time. I have already booked another stay for Romeo with April. đ¤â

âAwesome as always! Good updates and feedbacks. Got stuck in traffic for two hours and she was able to accommodate that as well. Totally comfortable leaving my girl with her.â

âI found Marcie on Rover and she responded quickly on such short notice. I contacted her on a Friday and she was able to accommodate our pit bull Jada the next day. Marcie was courteous enough to provide photos of Jada while at the dog park. Jada looked like she enjoyed her time with Marcie. We look forward to using Marcie again in the future.â

Greenhaven dog parents share their Rover experiences
Riker had such a good experience with Roy the past 2 days. Roy offered a meet and greet before the Rikerâs first stay. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.

This was Riverâs first ever daycare experience. I was nervous but Maeghen texted me some pictures and he seemed pretty relaxed overall. A great first time with an excellent sitter. I hope I find someone just like her for our next sitter. 10/10 recommendation âşď¸

Justin was a great host to our golden retriever Maizey. We had a last minute need for a dog sitter, and he was flexible and accommodating. Upon our arrival he was welcoming to our pup and to us. He made us feel safe and secure about leaving our beloved dog with him as we were new to Rover, and it was our first booking. There was a yard and his our was both clean and dog friendly (which is saying something!). He was also great with communicating and responding to our questions. I highly recommend Justin.

Marlene (and her pup, Paquita!) gave us such peace of mind while we were busy. They gave Chancho somewhere where he could both relax and have fun with another dog with his same energy level. They have a beautiful backyard that I'm sure he enjoyed very much! We'd highly recommend Marlene and will definitely be reaching out to her in the future. :)

Mayra was perfect for taking care of Teddy. You can tell she loves dogs. Her two dogs were a treat for Teddy. He loved them and had a blast playing with them. She took him for a couple of walks which he gets so excited about. Teddy hates being alone so this was a great day for him. I highly recommend Mayra and will definitely use her again.
