About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.
“I can't say enough good things about Minhhan who took care of our dog Zoey. Our little Shih Tzu can be difficult at times. She barks at anyone that comes near us. Minhhan met me at the park about a week before the sitting date and spent about a half of an hour getting to know Zoey. She walked her around the park. On the day Minhhan watched Zoey, she took some pictures. From what I saw, it did'nt look like our dog wanted to come home. I would recommend this sitter to anyone who needs their dog look after. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. “April was so kind, supportive, and understanding of my special senior!!! For context, my 14 year old dog was currently undergoing a med change due to doggy dementia so he needed extra supervision while we navigated this process. With the med change also came a lot of changes to his temperament/behavior. Despite being a super anxious, pretty reactive dog with a history of trauma (very slow to warm to strangers), April was so patient and empathetic to our situation and really went above and beyond to help us and our dog feel as comfortable as possible. I was happy to learn that my dog was even following her around a bit during his stay (which he doesn't even do with people he's met before)! I was so relieved when she sent her detailed text updates (with adorable doggy pics) and loved how proactive & transparent she was about making his next stay even more accomodating. My family and I have had several dogs over the past years ranging from large to medium in size, but I’m no stranger to small dogs either. I have also cared for dogs who required special needs care and attention for various reasons from medical illnesses to physical limitations and age. I’m currently a full time college student which means I can only offer services in the evening during weekdays. But, Friday through Sunday I’m completely available all day to provide care for animals as needed at times which are convenient for owners. When caring for animals I prioritize routine to avoid any unnecessary stress or anxiety. I start with bathroom breaks and handling food and water before moving on to play and entertainment. I have a fenced yard space in the back, with veggies growing here and there in pots, none of them are toxic to dogs. I take my dogs on a nearby park walk twice a day everyday. We also have a 3 year old male golden retriever at home. He is fully trained and can or cannot play with your pup depending on your preference. If you would like to have your dog separately; I do have fences and can set them up. I highly prefer crate trained or housebroken pups that can respect boundaries of an exercise pen or room. Crates and/or pens are used to separate dogs during feeding time and relaxation time (overnight, break time, potty training, dogs not getting along, etc). Please let me know about your dog’s experience being confined/alone. If your dog has specific needs (can’t be alone, does not do well in crate, issues being around specific dogs, etc) please let me know as well. Depending on my schedule, I may or may not be able to accommodate. Additional rates may apply to dogs requiring extra attention. Priority is given to repeat guests, especially during holidays.

About: Hello there! I am new to Rover and the Sacramento area, but I am not new to owning and caring for pets. I’ve had dogs and cats more than half my life. Out of the 3 pups I have had in the last 16 years , 2 of them are special needs and doing fabulously because of the attention and care they receive. I currently work part time as a caregiver for a woman who has Alzheimer’s and my two pups come with me for companion care. She adores them and so do I! I don’t require a ton of notice , but Mon,Wed and Thursday I won’t be available 9am-130pm I cannot care for dogs in my own home. My 5 yo golden is reactive with other dogs unfortunately. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.
