I love animals ❤️
I am a fun and energized person that loves animals! I’ve had everything from guinea pigs and bunnies to cats and dogs. The pets we sit for easily become apart of the family during their stay and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My favorite part of dog sitting is our daily walks and ending the day with pets and snuggles for movie time. Hopefully, you choose me to watch your pet! I will provide constant updates during their stay and can 100% say they will be loved ♥️. They will be in great hands.

April is responsive and thoughtful. She took great care of our black lab for a long weekend. She sent us regular photos and updates. We always knew our boy was in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to use April again.
Wonderful experience! April responds fast, is very commutative and is prompt and on time. had a great quick meet and greet and then on the day I needed her to drop in she sent photos and lots of communication. had a very happy dog. thank you April!
April took excellent care of our two pups and treated them as if they were her own pups! She has wonderful communication, is attentive to meal schedules to make sure the dogs felt it was similar to home. She would give daily updates & photos. We have one pup with a sensitive stomach & she made some home cooked chicken and rice to make him feel better. Our other senior dog is a bit anxious, and she was very kind to make sure to give him space with the other dogs and have him warm up over time. Would highly recommend April!
April was wonderful! It was our first time leaving our 10 month old golden retriever puppy and he loved his stay with April. He had two other dogs to play with during his stay, which worked out great. We really appreciated getting pictures and updates to know how he was doing while we were away. We would absolutely book again with April.
April was so kind, supportive, and understanding of my special senior!!! For context, my 14 year old dog was currently undergoing a med change due to doggy dementia so he needed extra supervision while we navigated this process. With the med change also came a lot of changes to his temperament/behavior. Despite being a super anxious, pretty reactive dog with a history of trauma (very slow to warm to strangers), April was so patient and empathetic to our situation and really went above and beyond to help us and our dog feel as comfortable as possible. I was happy to learn that my dog was even following her around a bit during his stay (which he doesn't even do with people he's met before)! I was so relieved when she sent her detailed text updates (with adorable doggy pics) and loved how proactive & transparent she was about making his next stay even more accomodating. We are definitely looking forward to booking with her again, 10/10 would recommend!

Schedule
I currently work part-time from home so taking care of pets is easy to fit into my schedule. I’m flexible with my day so it’s easy for me to give potty breaks and daily walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a great neighborhood for dog walks. Animals are fine to be on the couch and furniture unless their owner says otherwise. Exercise is important to my personal health so daily walks with your pet are always a highlight to my day.
A typical day
Highly attentive to the pets we watch and I’m always showing them love or talking to them. I try to make things fun by going on walks and doing whatever it is, their owners, tell me that their pets enjoy most. Parks and trails are near my home so those are always a must.

- Temperament and underlying health conditions are my biggest concern. Once I know that, I’m pretty well versed on reading dog and cat language. Eating habits of course need to be understood as well. One of the most important additional information is how a pet is motivated. Whether it be through treats or physical touch is a must know.
