I will treat your pet as if they were an extension of my own fur family. Our home backs up to the canal so it is quiet, cozy, and shaded by redwood trees. We are surrounded by lush parks and greenbelts where I can walk or run your dog, or if they prefer more mellow activities, we can just spend time cozying up on the comfy couch.

On longer stays & weekends when the weather permits, my fur pal and yours will probably be out enjoying walks along the river, small hikes geocaching along the coast or off the trail in the valley, huge expanses of grassy parks and greenbelts to run around on before relaxing at home on the couch with the family over a movie. On shorter stays, usually on colder/rainy days, we'll be inside the comfort of our home playing tug and fetch with an assorted array of toys from plush to squeaks and practice commands such as "sit", "stay," "lay down," and "wait" between warm cuddles and body rubs!

My name is Minhhan (Minh as in minnow, Han as in Han Solo), and I have been working with dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds for as long as I can remember. My history stems back to working the vaccine clinic at the Sacramento SPCA, to monitoring injured/recovering animals at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Davis, CA, to currently working for a national non-profit animal welfare/emergency relief organization based here in Sacramento. My partner, Robert, also provides some support (which means more love and attention for your fur babies!) and has over a decade of animal care experience having also worked at the Sacramento SPCA as well as Petsmart. Pet sitting used to just be limited to friends and family members in the past so I'm excited to extend the love to my neighbors! I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby behind; they're family, so naturally we worry. But rest assured because your pet will become an extension of my fur family while they are in my care. I send photo updates with a summary of how they are doing regularly and you can check in anytime. Can't wait to meet you & yours!

I was so anxious to leave Pekoe with anyone for the first time, but Minhan gave me so much peace of mind. She is so sweet, loving, and sensitive to Pekoe’s needs. After just our meet and greet I knew that she would take great care of her- and she did! She was great at communicating and also took amazing pictures. I had so much fun looking at every update she sent. Some of the pictures she took might be some of my all-time favorites, and it was clear that Pekoe was happy and comfortable settling in. I’m very grateful to Minhan and all the love and care she gave to her.
