While living in France for 5 years, I volunteered with Les Pattounes du Cœur, a nonprofit that rescues and rehomes pets. “I had the chance to visit Mary and Maple (her cat) a few weeks ago. Place was large and clean, and Maple had freedom to move as much as she wanted. She had a water supply that constantly refreshed itself and food was provided often. Maple also had a sandbox to use whenever she needed. She also was well-treated: her fur was silky, smooth and clean. While, in the beginning, Maple was wary of me, it didn't take long for her to mellow and close in for cuddles. In all, Mary really cares for pets and you won't regret leaving yours in her care.”
