About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have a Mastiff and a Labrador of my own, so I'm comfortable handling both giant breeds and energetic dogs, as well as small breeds that need a little extra attention. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet like they're part of my own family. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or a dependable sitter while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I'm currently finishing my last semester of college online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Since I'm not currently working, I'm available throughout the day, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Whether you need last-minute care, regular visits, or overnight stays, I'm happy to work around your pet's schedule and provide reliable, attentive care whenever you need it. I care for every pet as if they were my own by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I always follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality, whether they love to play, go on walks, or simply relax and cuddle. I also believe communication is important, so I'll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. My goal is to make your pet feel happy and secure while providing you with reliable, trustworthy care.

About: I've had pets in the past and love caring for them and playing with them. Grew up with a cat, had a dog and coserved a cat with my wife. Because we may move some time internationally, we haven't wanted to make a long term commitment, be we would love to be grandpetparents where we help out by babysitting while people need to travel pet free for a short time. I work full time but from home several days a week. My son, who loves animals will be around on days I am not at home. We would welcome any pets as part of the family. They can cuddle with us on the couch and play out in the yard or chill on our screened in porch. Unfortunately, we cant care forndigs for more than 5 or 6 days as we arent physically able to care for them.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 12 and have been pet and house sitting for the last 10 years. I love taking energetic pups on long walks or playing fetch in a secure yard, and I’m equally comfortable creating cozy spaces for senior dogs. I have two dogs of my own (one large, one medium), and I’m experienced with administering medications—even to picky ones who need a creative touch. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters off and on since 2020 and have worked with reactive and anxious dogs who may require extra time to warm up to strangers. I love spending time with both dogs and cats, and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m a full‑time freelancer with a very flexible schedule. I’m available every day between 8 AM and 11 PM, and I can easily adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs—whether that’s a morning walk, a midday check‑in, or an evening visit. My open schedule also allows me to accommodate last‑minute bookings, so you can count on me even when plans change unexpectedly. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick to the routines your cats and dogs already know so they feel secure and comfortable. I follow your feeding, walking, play, and litter box instructions, keep their spaces clean, and make sure your home stays tidy and secure. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality—whether that’s a shy cat, an energetic dog, or anything in between—and I work to make every visit calm, safe, and stress‑free.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
