Lynn was great. Both of my pups were in good hands while I was traveling. Great communication before and during time when he was taking care of my dogs. Highly recommend and will use again should the need arise! Thank you!

I’ve had the pleasure of having Ana walk fufu this past weekend. Not only was she available last minute, her report cards at the end their walks showed how much care and love she has for animals. She is considerate, attentive and knew how to create a safe atmosphere for my fufu. Fufu definitely had a blast getting spoiled and having extra time to sniff everything in sight. Thank you Ana!

Thank you for agreeing to both lunch and dinner walks this Thursday and for giving Sophie her medicine too! It’s so nice to know she is well taken care of when we are at work. A few neighbors have also spontaneously commented how friendly you are and also great with our little Sophie dog.

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for cats. My passion for animal care started in 6th grade when I began volunteering at animal shelters, where I spent years working with cats and dogs, socializing them, and helping support their health and wellbeing. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to foster cats and dogs, which has given me hands on experience caring for animals with different backgrounds, personalities, and needs. Fostering has taught me the importance of patience, trust-building, consistency, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for every animal. I’m currently a proud cat mom to six cats, and I grew up with two dogs, so I understand that pets are truly part of the family. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for over 8 years, providing reliable, loving care and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their humans are away. I work from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to provide extra companionship, attention, and flexibility for pets who enjoy having someone nearby. I have experience caring for shy, independent, playful, and affectionate pets, and I understand the importance of patience, respecting boundaries, and building trust at each pet’s own pace. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help keep your pet’s routine consistent. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets when traveling or away from home, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication based on what makes you feel most comfortable. Animal welfare has always been a passion of mine, and I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. My long-term goal is to open a cat cafe, and every cat I meet teaches me something new and helps me continue growing as a caregiver. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your pets and provide them with the love, attention, and care they deserve. Please don’t hesitate to reach out - I would love to meet you and your pets :) Having a flexible remote schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide playtime and enrichment, clean litter boxes, and administer medication when needed. I prioritize providing care in my client's home where your pets feel most comfortable. I understand how important it is to feel confident while you’re away from your pets, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication based on your preferences. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind.

About: I've owned dogs my since I was little. I've dog sat for families in my neighborhood, months at a time, this included letting the dogs outside, feeding them and administering medication to them. I started sitting after high school for a couple teachers and my principal and since then I’ve made more connections through them. I love meeting new pets because each one has a unique personality. Hoping to meet you and your furry friend(s)! I’m currently working at a restaurant and babysitting but have a flexible schedule. Outside of work I walk the lake or exercise and enjoy pursuing my hobbies so my schedule can easily be adjusted to pet sit! I have reliable transportation. I'm able to walk, feed and spend time with your pets. I ensure they have plenty of time to play and spend time outside. I normally pet sit in their home so I just ensure they have a similar routine and get plenty of love!

About: I've been dog sitting and raising animals since I was a child .I've grew up on a farm with lost of live stock and pups .I've bottle fed a few litters in my time even helped a cow give birth once or twice .what sets me apart from most sitters is that I genuinely care about the animals I watch and let out to use the bathroom .treats are a must ! I know I enjoy a treat or two once Ina while .I also have no problems staying over night if a long shift is needed in your life .or if vacation is needed I can also stay in home with the animals. I know and understand sometimes u just need help and need the extra money from work and need a dog sitter and it's also very hard trusting a new person in your home and with your fur babies but I am a very trust worthy young women and have nothing but love to give to your animals. I'm available everyday out of the week , the only times I'm unavailable is for my child's doctor appointments and mine .but open availability notmally As of the moment I cannot board any pups at my home , but first things first when I do a visit or over night dogs will be let out first after some love is given maybe a treat or two for being good pups while their owner is away .after that maybe play a bit of tug of war depending on the animal play time is a must .if they need to be watered and fed I will do that as well .if it's okay with the owners maybe take them for a walk

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 12 and have been pet and house sitting for the last 10 years. I love taking energetic pups on long walks or playing fetch in a secure yard, and I’m equally comfortable creating cozy spaces for senior dogs. I have two dogs of my own (one large, one medium), and I’m experienced with administering medications—even to picky ones who need a creative touch. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters off and on since 2020 and have worked with reactive and anxious dogs who may require extra time to warm up to strangers. I love spending time with both dogs and cats, and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m a full‑time freelancer with a very flexible schedule. I’m available every day between 8 AM and 11 PM, and I can easily adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs—whether that’s a morning walk, a midday check‑in, or an evening visit. My open schedule also allows me to accommodate last‑minute bookings, so you can count on me even when plans change unexpectedly. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick to the routines your cats and dogs already know so they feel secure and comfortable. I follow your feeding, walking, play, and litter box instructions, keep their spaces clean, and make sure your home stays tidy and secure. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality—whether that’s a shy cat, an energetic dog, or anything in between—and I work to make every visit calm, safe, and stress‑free.

About: Experienced dog caregiver with a lifelong love for dogs. Formerly worked at Pet Paradise & The Barker Lounge. I have also always had dogs in my household growing up. I’ve trained them when they were puppies and taught them cute little tricks. I am committed to providing top-notch care, love, and attention to your furry family member. I see this as a joyful opportunity to have fun with your fur baby. Currently not working at the moment, so I will have more than enough time to spend with your fur baby.I’m available early mornings, afternoon and nights! I love taking care of pets! It really depends on the pet and the specific needs they have. For example, for a dog, I'll make sure to give them plenty of exercise, feed them at the right times, and provide lots of love and attention. If it's a cat, I'll make sure to clean their litter box, provide fresh water and food, and spend some quality playtime with them. Each pet is unique, so it's important to tailor the care to their individual needs.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Green Pond. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Green Pond.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Green Pond. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
