About: After loving and caring for my dog of 12 years, Fuzzy Wuzzy, I decided to take up dog care/dog walking to care for other pets who need it. I worked for a Professional Company, ‘Canine Care,’ for a year, and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I work with barking, lunging, curious, drooly, happy, jumpy dogs all day, and I won’t have a problem with however your dog is! I look forward to meeting and having a great, safe, time with them. I am available pretty much most days for house sitting and walking. I text back very quickly so just ask and I’ll let you know right away! I have a fenced in back yard, no pets in the house and if you’re comfortable pets are allowed on the furniture. For walking, I have 6 foot and 10 foot leashes, and my neighborhood is on the quieter side if you’re dog is sensitive to noise. Let me know if you have any other questions I’m happy to answer.

About: I've been a professional pet sitter since 2001. Currently my wife and I own a home in South Chicago, although most of my clients live in Hyde Park. I've been taking care of dogs in the Hyde Park area since college. I went to the University of Chicago. After school I managed a West Loop Doggie Daycare and Kennel. In 2006, I began working for myself and have maintained that as my only source of income. In that time I've cared for all types of dogs, from very old to very young and everything in between. I'm a full time pet sitter, so dogs will go out at least 5 times a day in a fence and secure yard and will not be left unattended. Dogs will generally spend the day with me and my dogs. Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.

If your dog is a jumper please let me know. I allow the dogs the run freely in the back yard. If it’s too hot, unfortunately I do not let them play outside long. Once the sun goes down I then let them stay out longer. The dogs are typical fed breakfast and dinner with snacks in between. Please bring snacks (I don’t want to cause any discomfort while in my care).
