“Rebecca is extremely responsive and reliable. Our puppy is very nervous and sceptical of new people. Rebecca week after week worked hard to foster a loving relationship with our dog. He is now so comfortable with her and it’s a huge relief! We always get fun videos and pictures while Rebecca is with our dog which I love!”

“Angel did a great job and went above and beyond while we were out of town for the holidays. She provided plenty of photos and video updates which were greatly appreciated. She would play with our cat and make sure he received attention.”

About: I am a very kind and patient person. I had my first puppy in 2008 and I always cared for it with lots of love and affection. Since then, I have always been surrounded by beautiful paws and wet noses. I love animals and I am very affectionate with them. They will always be very well cared for. I don't currently have a steady job, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your best friend! I'm available to stay on weekends and weekdays if needed. The schedule can vary depending on your needs. If you have a routine, he'll follow it to the letter. Otherwise, I'll take care of feeding him, walking him, playing with him, giving him love and attention, and much more.

“This was our first time using a service like Rover. We were a bit hesitant, quite frankly somewhat nervous. But after reading reviews and listening to friends and family with good experiences, decide to try. We are so glad we did!! Megan was wonderful and we will absolutely ask for her again very soon. She sent us pictures of our two cats and a dog twice a day! And a report of how and what they were doing, and that she was doing all we asked, including giving medication to our dog. Each report that came in, along with a bundle of pictures, made us feel better about leaving our babies behind! We have been home early yesterday, and it’s as if we had never left for 4 days. Our babies were well-cared for and the way they have responded the last two days tells us they would be quite happy to pack our suitcases for another short visit! To Megan: God bless you for all you did. We will keep our fingers crossed you are available for our next trip, now that we feel free to travel a bit! You have given us that freedom and we can’t thank you enough! Our little guys are happy and healthy and will be watching for you!!”

About: My sister is a CPDT-KA, FPPE, and CGC certified dog trainer, who runs her own business and has taught me a thing or two on how to take care of dogs. If she feels she is a little overwhelmed, she calls me over and tells me what to do. From her, I've learned a lot in what is needed to take care of a dog, or multiple dogs. We have two dogs that we call our own, a Pit-Retriever mix rescue, Nikki, and a Purebred Chocolate Labrador, Brandy. Any dogs that stay with me or in my home can be guaranteed all of the love and attention that it can ask for, as many walks as it needs, and my neighborhood is very tolerant of dogs.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 2 years. One being my senior year of high school and the other one being my freshman year in college. Not only do I make sure they get their needs talked about by the owner, but I make sure they feel comfortable in their own space and play with them! I will be starting classes soon in August, but I will be free after 1pm to be able to look after pets. I will update this as my schedule might change, but other than that, it will probably be after 1 or whatever time is available for me to come over. In my client’s houses, I make sure that I first get acquainted with the pets. Whether it’s a sniff or a little “hi there!”, to let them know I’m friendly. Then, either I leave them be or we play and then I go to do the tasks that were assigned to me. If they don’t trust me, I will try another method and if that doesn’t work, I will hope the next time I come back and I let them sniff me, they will see that I’m friendly!

About: I’ve had plenty of hands-on pet care experience over the years! For a year, I lived with my roommate’s dog and basically became her second owner—feeding her, taking her on daily walks, and giving her all the love and attention she deserved. I’ve also helped friends by walking their dogs, making sure they got the exercise and care they needed while their owners were busy. On top of that, I’ve spent time teaching my aunt’s dog fun tricks, which taught me patience and how to bond with different dogs. One of my most memorable experiences was taking in a stray dog during grad school. He showed up at my door during a hurricane in 2023, wet and dirty, and clearly in need of help. Despite the risks, I took him in, cleaned him up, fed him, and gave him a safe place to stay while I worked to find him a home or shelter—all during finals week! It was such a rewarding experience that deepened my love and commitment to caring for animals. I’m comfortable with dogs of all personalities and sizes and genuinely enjoy making them feel happy, loved, and cared for. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just cuddles, I’ve got it covered! My schedule is super flexible right now! I just graduated from Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) school and am currently studying for my licensure boards, so dog sitting and walking are the perfect breaks for me. I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pup, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just some extra love and care. Since I set my own study schedule, I can easily adjust to meet your dog’s needs! Your dog’s safety is my top priority during every walk. I always use secure, well-fitted leashes and harnesses to ensure your pup stays safe and comfortable. I stick to familiar routes or ones you recommend and stay alert to avoid any potential hazards. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities, ensuring they feel secure and cared for throughout the walk. You can trust that your pup will have a fun, safe, and happy experience every time we head out!
