About: I’m retired and have loved dogs and cats my whole life. My family relies on me to take care of and feed their dogs when they’re gone. I would be happy to take care of your pets with the same love I show my own. I’m retired so I have a flexible schedule. I’d be more than happy to workout a schedule that fits yours and your fur babies needs. I consider my pets family and will take care of yours with the same affection, but I will of course always take care of your pets according to your wishes or instructions.

About: I provide gentle, personalized care for puppies of all needs and disabilities, ensuring comfort, administering medications, and creating a safe, stress-free environment for every dog. Currently working as a part time pet sitter and college student, I have lots of free time to care for animals, no matter their needs. I give all animals a warm welcoming with lots of pets and love, unless of course they need some time to warm up to me. In my home, animals are allowed on all furniture and have plenty of stimulating toys, potty breaks/litterboxes, and are always given yummy treats if allowed by their owners.

Whenever and wherever you need me I can be there. I just graduated grad school so I'm just looking for a job now. I keep my eyes on them at all times. It's not like I'm there for any other reason. About: I've always had at least one dog at any given time, and up to 4 at the most. I know what a fur baby needs, whether it's petting and naps to repetitive frisbee or tennis ball play! I enjoy the love each doggie brings. I know how hard it is to be at work or out of town and wonder if they are being adored in the same capacity as I would want to show. I can help alleviate the stress of being bored and alone all day, so YOU get all the best parts of your loving pup at the end of your long day. If they need snuggles, you've got the right girl! If they need a brisk hike or a run, let's give them what they deserve! Cats, birds, snakes, lizards and fish are all cared for in my presence

About: I’ve taken care of many pets before; however that has been exclusively for family and friends. These pets have ranged from massive dogs to little pups, and I have loved every second. Currently out of school for the summer, and I have plenty of free time to take care of pets this summer. Any time works fine for me. I spend as much time as I can with my pets, and make sure they’re healthy and comfortable at almost all times whether that involves taking them on walks or making sure they won’t ever go hungry. They are rarely left alone for more than a couple hours.

About: I've owned & taken care of animals from all walks of life. I currently have a 16 year old Blue Heeler, Calvin, & my newest best friend, a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy, Ivy. I also have 2 five year old cats, Escargot & Fugu. I'm experienced in fostering and rescue and I've raised several animals from puppies and kittens, but I have an extra soft spot for seniors. Ivy has been trained by Serenity k9 here in Macon and I am very well versed in prong collar & E-Collar training. I'm super active (walking/running a minimum of 2 miles a day), have a Subaru for transportation, and both of my dogs are trained and friendly. I work full time, but I work 4 days on, 3 days off. I go for regular walks and can work out a schedule for mid -day potty breaks if necessary on a working day. I prefer in-home visits for your animals. I can come up to 3 times a day (more if needed), go on regular, short or long walks, and spend plenty of time with your animals. I believe in scooping litter boxes EVERY day. I have a Dalmatian puppy that enjoys all other animals if your dog would like company on an outing. I can administer medication orally, topically, or through injections. I'm well versed in senior and puppy care and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. My dogs are professionally trained by a certified trainer and I know how to use most types of collars (E-Collar, prong, etc) properly. I can bathe your dog or deliver them to a groomer of your choice. I have my own car & extra crates and carriers if necessary. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard & 2 dogs of my own, both fully trained, vaccinated, & friendly with other trained dogs. I have secluded rooms (with sound machines & a/c) for crating dogs while at work.

About: Your pet is going to have fun! I enjoy running, jumping, lots of exercise, pouncing, and practicing good behavior for treats! I care for both dogs & cats that I sit and board. Or if you have a goat, I can work with that too! 😊☺️ Thankfully, I was born with an energetic and bubbly personality to match the needs of my furry friends! I also train dogs and coach good behavior, my dog knows 7 tricks (ask me how!) and she is a good friend and example for dogs that come to visit. I love all animals, and take their love and care and compassion very seriously since I was a little girl. Even till this day- one of my hobbies is rescuing animals in need and taking care of them. When it comes to my personal decisions, I am vegan for the animals, and I consider them to be family, we are definitely in charge of taking care of them as human beings as they are very intelligent sentient beings that need the same love and attention as a friend would. I'm doing this because it's a passion of mine. I am 100% reliable, honest, and trustworthy, your satisfaction is guaranteed. I currently work from home- so plenty my of time for fur babies! I spent most of my day outside- your pet will love walking and catching a cool breeze. I cultivate a relaxing and playful environment that allows for the best possible outcome for safety and security- my home is quiet and safe and protected.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have potty trained numerous puppies and have taken care of my own and friends for 20 plus years. I have given medication for allergies and diabetes. Since retiring pet sitting is enjoyable to me especially since I dedicate all my time to giving attention and care to all kinds. I mostly prefer dogs and cats though I did grow up with horses and rode all during my youth. So horses is also a plus for me. I would love the opportunity to take care of your fur babies. I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands and what better way then to play with fur babies. I have had a dog inside of the home since I was 2. At this time I cannot board dogs due to my dogs. They are in an underground fence system which gives them run of the front and back yard if my home.

About: I have a lot of experience working with animals. I worked at Indian Peaks Veterinary Hospital for 2 years, as a foster provider for Life is Better Rescues in 2014, and as a intern for marine mammals in Peru during the summer of 2016. In addition to my job experiences, I grew up with both dogs and cats which allowed me to gain additional experience in caring for animals. I have my own puppy who is very sweet and friendly and would love to have fur friends come stay with us. I can guarantee I will care for your animals as if they were my own! :) I am energetic, trustworthy, and flexible with care and scheduling! I attend Mercer Law which is currently in hybrid mode because of COVID, so I take majority of my classes online and therefore have a more flexible schedule. I can provide any additional information you may be interested in knowing before selecting the perfect caregiver for your animals. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets!

About: I am a passionate pet lover with a lifelong fondness for fluffy friends. While lacking formal experience, my genuine love for animals, nurtured by caring for my childhood pet and assisting friends with pet sitting, ensures a compassionate and reliable companion for your fluffy family members! 🫶🏾 I had a cat named Aspen for about 10 years as a child before she sadly was hit by a car. 😞 She was the most unique colored cat I’ve ever seen to this day and I miss her dearly. After Aspen passed away, my parents didn’t and still doesn’t allow us to buy/adopt another pet. 💔 Because of this, any chance I have to interact with an animal, I will take it! Once I found out about this app, I RAN to apply and got accepted quickly! 🥰 My parents do not like animals in the house, but after some hard convincing lol— they allowed me to watch my bestfriends dog for a couple a weeks as well as one of my other friends cat which we kept for 4 months because she went abroad! 😝 Although I personally do not have a pet myself, because of my relatives, I’ve always been around a range of different animals! 🐾 My boyfriend has had a pekapoo for as long as our relationship lol (3 years so far) which I always care for when I’m visiting him! 😊 He knows how I desperately long for one of my own therefore he lets me take care of her when I visit… which is very often. 😆 While I may lack formal professional experience and currently don't have a pet of my own due to circumstances beyond my control 😔, my deep love for animals, nurtured by cherished memories of Aspen and countless experiences caring for friends' pets, fuels my unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care for your furry family members 🙌🏾. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to entrusting your beloved pets to someone else's care, and I am here to alleviate any concerns or questions you may have 🫡. With me, your fur baby will receive nothing short of attentive, compassionate, and reliable care 😊. I would be honored to be entrusted with the well-being of your beloved pets, so please don't hesitate to reach out and book with me! Your furry friend's happiness and safety are my top priorities!🔝🫶🏾💕 I work for myself as an esthetician so my schedule is pretty flexible! As long as it is okay with the owner, I am able to stop by and sit mostly everyday! I have a big yard for playtime and nice neighborhood for walks. I like to keep things as tidy as possible especially when I’m someone else’s home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
