About: I love tiring out puppies or keeping an eye on them while they nap. I also like older dogs and don't mind just sitting with them for a few hours. I'm free almost 24/7! Whenever and wherever you need me I can be there. I just graduated grad school so I'm just looking for a job now. I keep my eyes on them at all times. It's not like I'm there for any other reason. I'm there to make sure they're safe.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets before; however that has been exclusively for family and friends. These pets have ranged from massive dogs to little pups, and I have loved every second. Currently out of school for the summer, and I have plenty of free time to take care of pets this summer. Any time works fine for me. I spend as much time as I can with my pets, and make sure they’re healthy and comfortable at almost all times whether that involves taking them on walks or making sure they won’t ever go hungry. They are rarely left alone for more than a couple hours.
“Emily communicated promptly and courteously when I reached out seeking a dog walking visit. She interacted very well with Marty during our meet and greet and came as scheduled for his walk while we were away from home for an extended time. Emily provided photos of Marty and put all items back as she found them. I am glad to have found her and would seek her out again in the future!”

About: I've owned & taken care of animals from all walks of life. I currently have a 16 year old Blue Heeler, Calvin, & my newest best friend, a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy, Ivy. I also have 2 five year old cats, Escargot & Fugu. I'm experienced in fostering and rescue and I've raised several animals from puppies and kittens, but I have an extra soft spot for seniors. Ivy has been trained by Serenity k9 here in Macon and I am very well versed in prong collar & E-Collar training. I'm super active (walking/running a minimum of 2 miles a day), have a Subaru for transportation, and both of my dogs are trained and friendly. I work full time, but I work 4 days on, 3 days off. I go for regular walks and can work out a schedule for mid -day potty breaks if necessary on a working day. I prefer in-home visits for your animals. I can come up to 3 times a day (more if needed), go on regular, short or long walks, and spend plenty of time with your animals. I believe in scooping litter boxes EVERY day. I have a Dalmatian puppy that enjoys all other animals if your dog would like company on an outing. I can administer medication orally, topically, or through injections. I'm well versed in senior and puppy care and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. My dogs are professionally trained by a certified trainer and I know how to use most types of collars (E-Collar, prong, etc) properly. I can bathe your dog or deliver them to a groomer of your choice. I have my own car & extra crates and carriers if necessary. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard & 2 dogs of my own, both fully trained, vaccinated, & friendly with other trained dogs. I have secluded rooms (with sound machines & a/c) for crating dogs while at work.

Two of them are rescues! I am in classes now but my schedule is pretty flexible! I may not be as free once I get a job but I will definitely try. About: I am a passionate pet lover with a lifelong fondness for fluffy friends. While lacking formal experience, my genuine love for animals, nurtured by caring for my childhood pet and assisting friends with pet sitting, ensures a compassionate and reliable companion for your fluffy family members! 🫶🏾 I had a cat named Aspen for about 10 years as a child before she sadly was hit by a car. 😞 She was the most unique colored cat I’ve ever seen to this day and I miss her dearly. After Aspen passed away, my parents didn’t and still doesn’t allow us to buy/adopt another pet. 💔 Because of this, any chance I have to interact with an animal, I will take it! Once I found out about this app, I RAN to apply and got accepted quickly! 🥰 My parents do not like animals in the house, but after some hard convincing lol— they allowed me to watch my bestfriends dog for a couple a weeks as well as one of my other friends cat which we kept for 4 months because she went abroad! 😝 Although I personally do not have a pet myself, because of my relatives, I’ve always been around a range of different animals! 🐾 My boyfriend has had a pekapoo for as long as our relationship lol (3 years so far) which I always care for when I’m visiting him! 😊 He knows how I desperately long for one of my own therefore he lets me take care of her when I visit… which is very often. 😆 While I may lack formal professional experience and currently don't have a pet of my own due to circumstances beyond my control 😔, my deep love for animals, nurtured by cherished memories of Aspen and countless experiences caring for friends' pets, fuels my unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care for your furry family members 🙌🏾. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to entrusting your beloved pets to someone else's care, and I am here to alleviate any concerns or questions you may have 🫡. With me, your fur baby will receive nothing short of attentive, compassionate, and reliable care 😊. I would be honored to be entrusted with the well-being of your beloved pets, so please don't hesitate to reach out and book with me! Your furry friend's happiness and safety are my top priorities!🔝🫶🏾💕 I work for myself as an esthetician so my schedule is pretty flexible! As long as it is okay with the owner, I am able to stop by and sit mostly everyday! I have a big yard for playtime and nice neighborhood for walks. I like to keep things as tidy as possible especially when I’m someone else’s home.

I had to deal with almost every experience when it comes to pets as well. I love dogs so very much they have such a soft place in my heart and it’s always great to get to learn about their owners as well when they’re steady customers! Boarding and grooming is something I do full time on my own, I’m home all the time unless I need to run and errand or two. Your pets will get lots and lots of attention their whole stay! About: I grew up on a farm helping my dad take care of all sorts of animals from bottle feeding goats to incubating eggs. I’ve also help take care of multiple senior dogs some who needed medical needs. Being a full time photographer allows me to work from home and make my own schedule allowing me to be flexible with my daily and weekly pet care routine. For my morning and evening pet care routine, I like to first take the pet out to potty. From there I prepare their food and get them fresh water. Once the pets is done or seems satisfied with their meal I like to play with them. Before leaving I then let them out/walk for another potty break.
About: Growing up with dogs and cats my whole life has given me invaluable experience when it comes to caring for all types of pets! I am able to house sit, take your dogs out, play with your pups, walk them, clean your cats litter, etc!! I live in a house with a fenced in backyard. Currently we do not have pets in the house, so your animal would be receiving all of the attention. I can also take them on walks around our neighborhood! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
