“Kathy is an awesome dog caretaker and walker. I have 5 active dogs and one is elderly. She does a wonderful job with walking them all and all the various feedings. I know I'm in good hands with her and you will be too!”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets before; however that has been exclusively for family and friends. These pets have ranged from massive dogs to little pups, and I have loved every second. Currently out of school for the summer, and I have plenty of free time to take care of pets this summer. Any time works fine for me. I spend as much time as I can with my pets, and make sure they’re healthy and comfortable at almost all times whether that involves taking them on walks or making sure they won’t ever go hungry. They are rarely left alone for more than a couple hours.
About: I love tiring out puppies or keeping an eye on them while they nap. I also like older dogs and don't mind just sitting with them for a few hours. I'm free almost 24/7! Whenever and wherever you need me I can be there. I just graduated grad school so I'm just looking for a job now. I keep my eyes on them at all times. It's not like I'm there for any other reason. I'm there to make sure they're safe.

About: I've owned & taken care of animals from all walks of life. I currently have a 16 year old Blue Heeler, Calvin, & my newest best friend, a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy, Ivy. I also have 2 five year old cats, Escargot & Fugu. I'm experienced in fostering and rescue and I've raised several animals from puppies and kittens, but I have an extra soft spot for seniors. Ivy has been trained by Serenity k9 here in Macon and I am very well versed in prong collar & E-Collar training. I'm super active (walking/running a minimum of 2 miles a day), have a Subaru for transportation, and both of my dogs are trained and friendly. I work full time, but I work 4 days on, 3 days off. I go for regular walks and can work out a schedule for mid -day potty breaks if necessary on a working day. I prefer in-home visits for your animals. I can come up to 3 times a day (more if needed), go on regular, short or long walks, and spend plenty of time with your animals. I believe in scooping litter boxes EVERY day. I have a Dalmatian puppy that enjoys all other animals if your dog would like company on an outing. I can administer medication orally, topically, or through injections. I'm well versed in senior and puppy care and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. My dogs are professionally trained by a certified trainer and I know how to use most types of collars (E-Collar, prong, etc) properly. I can bathe your dog or deliver them to a groomer of your choice. I have my own car & extra crates and carriers if necessary. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard & 2 dogs of my own, both fully trained, vaccinated, & friendly with other trained dogs. I have secluded rooms (with sound machines & a/c) for crating dogs while at work.

My whole life I have grown up with pets including both dogs and cats! I have always looked at pets as an important part of the family so I will always treat them like so! I am currently home full-time and am available for walks or drop-ins when needed to take care of your fur balls! I will always try to make time for them! When I come take care of your fur babies, I’d love to do whatever it is you already do to make them comfortable! “Emily communicated promptly and courteously when I reached out seeking a dog walking visit. She interacted very well with Marty during our meet and greet and came as scheduled for his walk while we were away from home for an extended time. Emily provided photos of Marty and put all items back as she found them. I am glad to have found her and would seek her out again in the future!”

I try to offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times to accommodate your routine. Each day is tailored to the specific needs, energy levels, and personalities of the dogs staying with me. I provide a fenced yard with anti-dig protection, ensuring your dog can explore and play safely. Every dog is closely monitored, and I maintain clear, prompt communication. Cleanliness is just as important to me as care. I genuinely love dogs—and yes, I love cleaning too! Kennels and bedding are thoroughly sanitized after each stay, and the entire home is kept clean and orderly to provide a healthy, stress-free environment for everyone. My goal is simple: to create a positive, peaceful experience for you, your dog, and me. When dogs feel safe, clean, and cared for, that’s what I aim to deliver every day.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wesleyan Hills
Pacey is very sweet and down to earth, it seems she has extensive knowledge about animals which was very nice. We booked her to watch over our dog specifically but she also went out of her way to make sure our cat room was in tact. She constantly gave us updates and sent pictures, she also did very well with the instructions we left for her. Overall she’s absolutely amazing, it’s nice having someone to look over your pets and home but it’s a different feeling when you know the person actually cares about what they do. THANK YOU PACEY!!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
