About: I have had dogs all my life. I have potty trained numerous puppies and have taken care of my own and friends for 20 plus years. I have given medication for allergies and diabetes. Since retiring pet sitting is enjoyable to me especially since I dedicate all my time to giving attention and care to all kinds. I mostly prefer dogs and cats though I did grow up with horses and rode all during my youth. So horses is also a plus for me. I would love the opportunity to take care of your fur babies. I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands and what better way then to play with fur babies. I have had a dog inside of the home since I was 2. At this time I cannot board dogs due to my dogs. They are in an underground fence system which gives them run of the front and back yard if my home.

About: I have been sitting dogs off and on for the last 5-6 years. I have an Aussie that loves playing with other dogs and is the sweetest. I currently work full time from home and can play throughout the day. I am able to let my fur baby out multiple times a day whenever he needs. I have a big backyard without a fence. There’s plenty of room to run with my dog each day and to keep your fur baby company the whole day.

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring genuine love and deep expertise to every pup in my care. My journey began with Riley, my beloved companion who blessed my life for years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Riley taught me patience, attentiveness, and the unique joy that comes from truly bonding with a dog. Today, that love continues with Kenobi, my energetic and adorable 3.5-year-old, who keeps my dog-care skills sharp every single day. Kenobi and I are always on the move — whether it's our regular long walks, hitting the trails for a hike, or joining our local dog walking group where pups can socialize and explore together. An active dog is a happy dog, and I make sure every dog in my care gets the exercise and enrichment they deserve. My reputation speaks for itself — family and friends have trusted me time and again to care for their beloved pups, knowing they'll be in the most loving and capable hands. That trusted word-of-mouth is the foundation of everything I do. While I'd love nothing more than to expand my fur family, the timing isn't quite right for a second dog — so dog sitting is the perfect solution! It lets me share my home, my heart, and my experience with more dogs who deserve top-notch care. When your dog stays with me, they're not just being watched — they're being welcomed into a home that truly understands and adores dogs. Your pup will be in experienced, caring hands every step of the way. Services Offered: 🐾 Dog Walking 🏠 Boarding 🧩 Enrichment Activities I work from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to center my day around your pup's needs. Whether it's regular potty breaks, feeding times, nap schedules, or simply cuddle time on the couch, I am fully present and attentive throughout the day. Your dog will never feel lonely or overlooked — they will always have loving company and dedicated care from morning to night! I have one 3.5-year-old Cavapoo named Kenobi who would love to keep your pup company! Crating, playpen setting or free roam can be offered depending on your dog's temperament and individual needs. And if your dog loves the outdoors, my large yard provides plenty of space to run, explore, and play!

About: I’m a retired wildlife biologist with lots of time and interest in taking care of animals. I’ve had dogs and indoor (mostly) cats most of my life and thus I’m fully used to scooping poo, sweeping up kitty litter, etc. You will not return to a minefield in the yard or a messy litter box I’m retired and thus available often. You can count on me to spend quality time with your pets, not just feed and go. I look forward to meeting them I like animals more than most people, haha, and will care for them with great focus. Your pets will be my buddies and we’ll have a safe and fun time together. I do not have a fence but my house is in the middle of a 113 acre mostly wooded property I own.

About: Hi 👋 I offer overnight care in the pet's home environment to be sure they are well cared for while you're away. I'm available to care for them, love on them, and go above and beyond your expectations! I will come do an introductory visit with the pets while you are there so I can meet them and we can go over their routines, what they like to do during the day, discuss any medications, discuss any household chores, and we can be sure the pets will feel comfortable with me as their caregiver while you are away. I've been blessed to care for dogs, cats, horses, ponies, chickens, ducks, turtles, and even catfish. I’ve been blessed to pet sit for years and I will happily provide references at your request! I am available to pet/home sit for any duration. One day/night up to weeks at a time. My rates are fair and affordable. Along with caring for your fur family, I can also handle everyday household tasks such as watering plants, taking the trash to the road, checking the mail, and etc. Household chores are no extra charge. Please, no snakes or lizards. Let's chat! Other than pet sitting, I do ministry with a Christian camp. When we discuss the dates and what you need, I can tell you about my ministry schedule for the dates that you need me. Rest assured, I will be sure to take excellent care of your fur family! During the introductory visit, I make it a point to learn the general household schedule so I know what is normal around your home and what is not normal. I take safety of your fur family and your property seriously. If your fur family needs to go outside, I am right there with them. If your fur family stays outside, apart from me spending time playing with them, I check on them routinely to be sure they are safe and content.

About: Hello! My name is Courtney and I’ve shared my life with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. As a lifelong dog owner and lover, I understand that every pet has a unique personality and set of needs. Whether you have a playful puppy or a senior dog requiring a slower pace, I have the experience to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience with training puppies and tending to their need from newborns all the way up to Senior. I am particularly skilled in specialized care and medical administration, including following precise dosing schedules for oral medications or managing complex feeding routines. Having cared for senior pets and those with specific health needs within my own family and for friends, I am attentive to behavioral changes and strictly adhere to your safety protocols. Communication is my priority. I will keep you updated exactly as much as you’d like—whether that’s frequent photo check-ins, detailed walk reports, or just a quick end-of-day summary. My goal is to give you total peace of mind while your furry family member is in my care. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I will care for them with the same love I give my own. Pet care is the best part of my day! I structured my schedule specifically so I can be available when owners need me most. My routine is built around consistency—I know how important it is for dogs and cats to have their meals, exercise, and medicine at the same time every day. I’m dedicated to providing that stability for your pets. Between my own pets’ care and my Rover visits, I am constantly active and attentive, ensuring every animal in my care gets the exercise and affection they deserve. When I enter your home, my first priority is making your pet feel safe and happy in their own space. I stick strictly to the routine they already know and love—from their specific feeding times to their favorite walking paths. I’m very observant, so I’m always checking for changes in their mood or energy, especially when administering medications. Beyond the basics, I make sure they get plenty of 'quality time,' whether that’s a game of fetch in the yard or quiet cuddles on the couch. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring everything is secure and tidy before I leave. I love keeping pet parents in the loop, so you can expect detailed updates and photos after every visit! My goal is to maintain your pet's sense of security while you’re away, providing a calm, loving presence.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
