About: I have been loving and caring for dogs since I was a young girl. We always had a dog in the family and I was the one who fed, watered, and did all of the basic care for each of them. I spent a lot of time outside with our dogs, playing toss, catch and tug-of-war, and generally keeping them busy. Going for walks was a big deal back in the day and it was and is good for both of us. When my daughter was young, we would go for walks with her in the stroller and our dog by our side. I also took my service dog on a two month trip across the country. He was safely secured in the back seat, while we drove and then went into all the stops with me. We both had a great time and he enjoyed all the stops as much as I did!! You see, I like to treat dog like people. I believe they understand a lot of what we say to them and I know they love to be petted and scratched, so that's what I do to show each of them love. I've been retired for several years and I live alone.. I don't have a lot on my schedule so I want to take care of dogs to fill my daya and evenings with furry friends to love and play with. I keep water available for them and always have treats on hand (if they are allowed). I have a dog friendly home and a screened in front porch as well as a fully fenced front yard. Your much loved dog will be very safe at my home as well as cared for. I only have one dog, so once they get to know each other, they can play together both inside and outside. I only care for small and medium size dogs and only one family at a time, so that you know your pet is very safe here. Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend.

About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. I have 2 dogs as well. All of my animals are pet friendly with everything as many animals have come through my care fostering. I'm skilled in exotic pet care as well if necessary. I currently only work weekend overnights in the ER. So, I am home all week caring for my fur babies. As well as yours hopefully! I strive to care for anyone's else's pets exactly as I would my own. When they are with me, they are my babies too. I bring my ER compassion with me when I pet sit, in the ER the pets are without their owners & they are scared on top of being hurt. While my pet sits may not be hurt, I'm aware they could be nervous & unfamiliar. I try to treat them with the upmost compassion & kindness.

About: I have had several different kinds of dogs since I was 5 and have raised several Boxer puppies from birth. I have also taken care of several senior or sick dogs, so I am comfortable taking care of more hands on animals! Happy to run around with your pet, or be a lazy couch potato with them—whatever their heart desires! I am free throughout the summer and would be happy to work with your pet! I am adaptable and flexible based on your pet's needs and routines. I have one medium sized miniature schnauzer who is full of energy and loves to play with other animals. I also have a large fenced in backyard to let dogs out to play/relieve themselves. I keep a clean and tidy home that your animal will feel comfortable and safe in!

About: I've cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I've studied animal cognition, behavior, and training. I've participated in obedience training, agility, and my prior pets were Canine Good Citizen certified. I have worked with both dogs and cats and a variety of breeds including high energy herding breeds. I have a large 1 acre fenced yard that is perfect for running, playing, and getting the ya yas out! I am currently avilable anytime (weekdays, evenings, and weekends) for boarding or doggie daycare at my home or drop-in visits at your home. I have plenty of time to spoil your furbabies! I’m currently a college student doing online classes so I am at home majority of the time taking care of my own personal pets day to day I monitor them really the entire time with them by my side, but I also have two veterinarians with me in my household every day

About: Ive had pets my whole life and I know how hard it can be to leave your furry best friend in someone else’s care. You can rest assured knowing I will take the best care of your babies and will be sure to send lots of photos to put your mind at ease. I grew up with dogs and cats and I’ve seen just about everything you can imagine. I do free meet n greets, so we can discuss any particular concerns or care requirements for your pet beforehand. Please don’t hesitate to message me with any questions! I currently stay at home with my toddler so I will be home to provide care for your pets. About: I have always had a soft spot in my heart for dogs. I have carried this love into adulthood and I enjoy having them in my life. When your four-legged family member is with us they will be treated as one of the family. They will be doted upon and they will be constantly engaged, touched, and talked to. We go for walks in our 1-acre fenced backyard, which facilitates safe rewarding exploration and discovery. We allow the visitors to play and interact with our loving and friendly standard poodles who are great role models to each other and to visiting pooches. Even though your baby will be on their doggie Vaca, We will still use every opportunity to encourage learning, good manners, and good behavior by giving treats and positive reinforcement throughout the day. Stability, engagement, routine, and structure makes a happy dog and we aim to make sure that every four-legged friend who lodges with us, is happy and never wants to leave. Our resident babies eat twice per day and are allowed out for potty breaks three times per day. If it is a rainy day we do indoor activities in our 35x40 temperature controlled dog suite and we even watch a little "Dog TV" We have a great time, rain or shine! Sleeping arrangements will depend on what your baby is comfortable with but we do not allow our pets on the furniture or in our beds (at least when daddy is around). We have kennels but we allow the dogs to sleep anywhere they want to in the dog suite. I am a retired nurse and I am always home so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs in my day. We have a huge fenced in backyard where all the dogs enjoy their time outdoors. We also have plenty of equipment in the yard for their enjoyment.

About: Dogs are a big part of my life right now. With two energetic boxers (one of them deaf) I’ve taken a crash course on raising dogs that are loving, friendly, and listen. I’ve learned a lot the past few years, and can’t wait to love on other dogs. I am currently home most of the day, and I would love to love on your pets. My two boxer are energetic, playful with all other dogs, and thinking meeting new friends is the best. I do have four kids in the home, but they love dogs. Your dog will get extra love and play from these gentle hands. I have an active family and your dog will get lots of attention as we walk, play indoors with dog toys, and engage with my energetic and friendly boxers. We love to cuddle on the couch with our fur friends. Sleep and food time can be done in a particular place if that is what your pet needs.

About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!
