“Guinness was a very happy boy with his first walk with Alanys!!!!! I felt safe and comfortable with Alanys (and you can tell Guinness was immediately comfortable) walking our boy and will book again!! Highly recommend her!!!!”

“Grace did a phenomenal job and we couldn't be more pleased with her care and service. She fed our two cats separately and got our shy kitty to not only eat while she was there, but to even play with the cat dancer, which really showed both cats were relaxed and happy. Grace is thoughtful and a great communicator, too. We'd hire her again and so should you!”

“Tanya went above & beyond taking care of my cats. She also left detailed reports that made me feel so at ease while being away from them for the first time. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I believe its important to treat them well and with respect. I know how important it is for pets to be cared for while we're away Im available most mornings and evenings. I am currently available during the day as well. I take my own dog for walks every morning and evening as well. I can come and provide the animals food, fresh water and play with them if they are in the mood for that. In the case of dogs I'm happy to let them outside or go on a walk with them. I can play with them and make sure they are exercised.

“Yvette was so kind and thorough with caring for my cat! My cat was a little stressed having a new person around but Yvette went above and beyond with trying to make her more comfortable. 🤎”

“Lily was absolutely amazing! She took care of my two cats, Dice and Button, while I was away on vacation and truly went above and beyond. From the very first visit, she was communicative, reliable, and incredibly caring. She made sure both cats were well-fed, safe, and happy, and even spent extra time giving them attention and affection. Dice is usually shy, but under Lily’s care, he quickly warmed up and started following her around, which says a lot about how comfortable she made them feel. She also kept me updated every day with sweet notes and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I came back to happy, well-cared-for cats and a tidy home. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you, Lily! I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and dedicated pet sitter.”

About: What does a Disney princess, & dr.dolittle have in common with me? Animals tend to trust & understand us. I find happiness in caring for animals & understand the guilt when you have to go somewhere without your companion. I’m reliable, communicative & take really great photos I’d love to share with you! I work remote, and would like to utilize my abilitity to be home during my breaks and lunch hour, to assist other with their animal care needs. Happy to follow your schedule & system that works in your home. I understand consistency with your companion & keeping in contact so you’re aware of everything that’s happening while you’re away. I understand that piece of mind is everything.

About: I have experience working with many different animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even cattle. I love spending time with animals and currently working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic. I have lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking and also have experience working around livestock so no dog is too big! Walking your dog will be of great enjoyment for both myself and your pet and I will work to create a bond between me and your pet so that we both make the most of our time. I can’t wait to work with you and your fur baby! I work full time at a small animal clinic so pet sitting and dog walking is something I do on the side so I can spend more time with animals! If possible I like to meet dogs for the first time with their owner around to lower their stress and slightly away from their home if possible (particularly if they are known to be protective of their homes).

“Did a great job with Nalani and gave me updates! Loved that Taylor was able to drop in the whole holiday weekend since I had to work. Very easy to get in contact with and super responsive!”

“Rick provided exceptional care for our two energetic German Shepherds during several consecutive overnight stays. His calm and confident demeanor was a perfect match for our pups, creating a sense of comfort and trust from the very beginning. It’s clear that Rick has a natural connection with animals—our dogs were so happy and relaxed in his care that we’ve affectionately started calling his visits “Camp Rick.” Having someone as responsible, compassionate, and attentive as Rick watching over our beloved pets gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We’re incredibly grateful for his dedication and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking top-tier pet care.”

About: With 15+ years of pet-sitting experience — and over 6 years as a daily Rover user — I know exactly what it takes to keep tails wagging. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in, or overnight stay, your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. Need a last-minute booking? No problem! I’m flexible, dependable, and ready to treat your pup like part of my own family. I’ve booked Rover for my own pup, Murphy, more than 150 times, learning firsthand what makes an amazing sitter. Now, with extra time in my schedule, I’m excited to give back to this wonderful community and be your go-to, reliable Rover! I am available throughout the weekday nearly anytime for first time or repeat families! Weekends are booked for repeat customers only. Meet and greet opportunities are preferred before booking, including video options as well. A range of time or specific to the half hour is available. Your pup’s safety is always my #1 priority. I keep a close eye on dogs during walks, avoid unsafe areas, and only use secure leashes and harnesses. I never let dogs off-leash unless in a fully fenced, owner-approved space. At home, my environment is dog-friendly and free from hazards, with plenty of cozy spots to rest and clean, fresh water always available. I follow any special feeding, medication, or care instructions to the letter, and I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, kindness, and plenty of love.

About: I love all animals; I grew up with cats and dogs and a fat-tailed gecko named Jackson! I even raised a puppy with my college housemates, and we did an incredible job if I do say so myself. I take pride in my ability to connect with both animals and humans. I am highly emotionally intelligent and I really want to provide the best possible care for your fur babies as I possibly can. I have extensive experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including special needs pups. I am very active and would be willing take your pup on multiple walks (or even runs) a day. I am bilingual, so if your pup responds better to commands in Spanish, I can do that :) Hey there! Hola! I just recently reactivated my Rover profile after backing in Latin America for the last half a year or so; I don’t have any current full time employment, which means I have full days to devote to your adorable doggos (and/or cats). I grew up in Amherst and all of my family is still in the area. I also did hoy my MBA at UMass from 2016-18, so I’m very familiar with the area! Most of my Rover experience/reviews are from when I was living/working in California in 2023; I also had some sits in western MA last summer! Anyways, Hope to hear from you :) I am very communicative with all of my clients. I am happy to send as many updates and photos as my clients desire. I will treat your pet as if they were my own and give them all the love and attention they could possibly want! Please let me know any possible way that I can make you more at ease while you're away!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since the beginning of high school. I have dogsat for family and friends and friends of them as well. They have relied on me to feed, walk, and stay with their pets when they are away. I’m currently a full time teacher, but have most of my time after school and weekends open! School ends mid-June so I am completely open for the summer. I make sure to leave the place the way I entered it. I always clean up after myself and make sure to clean from the pet as well. I follow the rules and expectations of the house owner.

About: Growing up, I had the sweetest golden retriever you could ever hope to meet. Based on my life circumstances, I haven't been able to have a dog of my own since, but have spent a lot of time caring for friends' dogs---walking, feeding, grooming, playing with, and medicating as needed. For now, I'm between jobs, courses, etc., so my schedule is pretty open, and I can prioritize spending time with your animals as you see fit. As for safety inside, make sure that dogs don't have easy access to toxic foods and other dangerous objects that they could accidentally ingest. Same goes for garbage cans. For outside safety, proximity to the street and moving traffic is key. In general, I keep dogs on the leash unless we're in a fenced-in area, and alone. If we see another dog, I always check with the other people first to see if their dog is safe to socialize with.

About: My household currently contains 2 black cats and a pitbull mix! I live for the chaos and love that animals bring into a home! I have potty trained young puppies, given an inhaler to a stubborn cat and many more things! I have a flexible full time work schedule and I often come home at lunch or work from home to hang out with my pets. I prefer to keep pets in their familiar environment and visit them. I find that reduces stress and allows for me to build a better relationship with the animal.

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. 2 of those dogs are massive, and one is small. I get the best of both worlds and know how to treat all kinds of dogs. Pet care is something I do at home on a day to day basis. It’s something I enjoy and it’s something I’m good at. If I can help other people while enjoying what I’m doing, I’d say that’s a big win. When I sit at other peoples homes, I take into account the pets behaviors and the spots they tend to spend the most of their time in. Frequently checking in, giving them space when needed, spending time with them, those are all important factors.

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to care for their dogs and cats. I am now offering my pet care services to others! I work full time in a school setting. My weekends, summers, and vacations are very flexible. Most weekdays I am available after 3. I would love to get to know you & your furry friend! I am here to meet your dog-walking or drop in needs. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make this process more comfortable for you and your furry friend.

About: My first responsibility I had as a 4 year old was feeding our family dog, Shannon. Since then, I not only helped feed, walk and care for my own pets, but have helped others as well. Whether it was classroom fish, or boisterous double-dog walks, I always love making a pet's day brighter. I take pets' well-being seriously and like to do all I can to make your pet feel at home and worry-free in your absence. During the school year, I have limited availability during evenings and weekends. During the summer and school vacations, I am available weekdays, weeknights, and on most weekends. I offer drop-ins for cats, dogs, bunnies, and other small animals. I also offer dog walking. I am an avid athlete so I am happy to take on energized dogs who like long walks. I have experience administering oral medication and injections.

She’s cat sat for neighbors multiple summers and dog sat through other apps. No one has complained about her and she’s always gotten 5/5 ratings. She wants to be a veterinarian which shows how much she cares about the animals she’s looking after.”

Gabriel G.
“I've known Gabe for quite some time, and he has been my go to house sitter and cat sitter when I am out of town! My cats both love him and warm up very very quickly every time, snuggling on him before I'm even out the door. This is saying something since one of them is very timid and selective about who is graced with his presence. Gabe also always manages to leave my place even cleaner than I left it, and is very respectful of the space. Additionally, he is very communicative, and provides me with lots of updates and photos of the fur babies! I absolutely trust him with my fur babies, and I would highly recommend him to anyone as a pet sitter!”
