“Paige was absolutely amazing with my two kittens while I was away on vacation. She kept me updated, made sure they were well cared for, and genuinely treated them like her own. What really stood out to me was how attentive she was she noticed right away that one of my kittens wasn’t feeling well and immediately let me know so I could get her to the vet. I’m so grateful for her care, communication, and attention to detail. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pets were in such good hands. I would highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Patty was great with our older dog. She came for a meet and greet to learn all about Daisy. She messaged with any concerns during our time away. We would definitely use her again!”

“Brody really loves animals and it shows. He will go the extra mile to care for your pets. We were gone for 2 weeks and he showed our cat extra love and attention. He took good care of our chickens and made sure they were fed and watered. I would recommend Brody to love and care for your animals.”

“QEmily was amazing! She arrived right on time for both visits, stayed longer than expected, and made sure everything was done with care. She sent lots of photos and kept up with all the Rover cards so I always knew what was going on. My dogs were clearly happy and comfortable with her. She went above and beyond — I couldn’t have asked for better care! Highly recommend her and will definitely book again.”

“Rebecca is AMAZING! This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but she made everything super easy and made me feel a lot better about leaving my kitties for a whole week. We had a mishap back at home after arriving at our vacation destination and Rebecca was quick to respond and offer to stop over two days early to help. Everything was followed as requested and the cats are very happy. I will most definitely be a repeat customer in the future. I'm so grateful to have found a kind, responsible, and trustworthy person to look after my fur babies. Thank you Rebecca!”

About: I graduated from Laurel Oaks & completed the Animal Science & Technology Program in 2021. In 2021 I started working at a kennel in my hometown. There I walked many dogs , fed them & socialized with them. In 2022 I started worked at a Kennel Free facility and was there until 2025. I worked as a daycare attendant & an Overnight supervisor. I worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I fed them & and administered medicine. I also watched over them in the daycare rooms. In 2025 I started working at a Dog boarding kennel / resort. I am a pet care specialist. Here I walk dogs of all sizes from 5 pounds to 100 pounds. I feed them , administer medication & socialize with them. I also do daycare when required of me. I currently work at a dog boarding resort and do second shift. So I have time to walk some local pups before my shifts. I want to walk any pups that need to get their energy out or just go on a stroll. I will send daily updates to their owner. I can share my location if needed. I will make sure to stick to the pets daily routines. I will try to walk dogs (and even cats) when the temperature allows.
About: I have experience in training puppies and administering medication to older pups. I love taking dogs on walks and playing with breeds of all kinds! I work very part-time and am looking for something else to keep me busy during the summer when I'm home from school, so I am turning to my favorite passion, animals! I always follow instructions carefully, and prioritize the safety of your home and your pets above all else. I communicate effectively and will always be someone you can count on.
About: I have taken care of my own dogs and others dog's for over 10 years now. My family and I have 3 dogs currently and have owned 6 dogs throughout my life of varying sizes. I have dog sat and walked dogs for many of my friends and family over the years with the dogs being in size ranges as big as Great Danes down to little Griffons. In addition I have bathed and brushed dogs for years as well. I of course am also very affectionate towards any dogs, making sure to give them lots of pets and scratches. I will be available between 10 AM-6 PM every weekday unless specified otherwise, though days and hours are mutable and can be subject to change in the future. If I decide to change my hours/days all clients will be notified of the change with ample time to figure something out between us if need be. I will show your dog affection and make sure they have enough food and water as needed. I can also differ my services based off what my client needs. For example during a drop in I can wear out your overly excited puppy, I can clean your litterbox, or I can just lay down and chill with your older dog who just needs some pets and attention. I am easygoing and can work with any client.
About: Aloha! I want to help you and your family member (dog/pet) feel less stressed about being away from each other! I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have housesit/housesat and dogsit/catsit/ bird and turtles-sat for friends and was suggested to extend my love on ROVER! (Side note: My husband goes to work during the day.I recently changed our schedule to homeschooling. My 2 kids are used to me caring, playing, and walking other dogs. They loves animals as well. We moved here to Milford, Cincinnati from Hawaii. Ive taught them, and we all have experience caring for animals, see pictures). I have went out of the way to teach , show and guide my children to be gentle, slow approaching/no sudden movements, no chasing, be responsible, ask before pet, be aware and careful around animals. I want to help other families feel comfortable and confident to leave their pet with me. We have our Covid shots and boosters. I am home everyday (except 3-4hours out of the house now and then for groceries or friends farm, or kids play dates). I keep my distance from crowds, we sanitize, and wash our hands frequently. I clean the house and wipe everything all the time. We got a new Hoover carpet wash, and our dog is up to date with shots! Your pet is safe and will be treated like royalty, pampered, loved like our pup/family! I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals for 33 years after) taking care of puppies, adults and senior dogs (a pit bull, a Pekingese, Shih Tzu , then fostered a German Shepard, a Poodle, a black pup Lab), Taken cared of a Golden Retriever, a Pitbull, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around (I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, lunch, then around 3-4pm around/after dinner time , and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my child, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. I have taught my children not jump around, not rush, nor scare animals. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them. (Off leash free to run roam inside the house and I have a mini tread mill if outside walks and inside play is not enough). Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. I can help clean your dog/pet too, let us know!

“Emily was excellent! She took great care of Ghita, Lilla, and Tigrana and was always available, responsive, and proactive. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommended!”

“Kelly did an incredible job taking care of our babies. We felt good leaving them in her hands. She sent the cutest pictures and was consistent with her check in times. We would use her again 100 times!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
