When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific preferences or needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and mental stimulation while also keeping their environment clean and safe. If providing care in my own home, I would ensure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, fresh water, and opportunities for play and rest. My goal is always to make pets feel as relaxed and loved as possible, whether they are in their own home or mine.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family, caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is that I’m also a registered nurse. My career has made me compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I currently work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets I care for. Since I live in the city, I don’t have a fenced yard, but that doesn’t stop my dog from getting plenty of exercise and attention! I have one dog of my own and also frequently care for my neighbor’s dog. We go on regular walks throughout the day, visit nearby grassy areas for bathroom breaks, and enjoy trips to the park just up the street for extra exercise and playtime. I also have a crate available if your dog is crate trained or if you’d like them crated for rest, bedtime, or while I’m briefly away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of love and attention. My goal is to help every pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their family is away.

About: Growing up, I've always had animals in my life. At one point my family had four cats and three dogs! I absolutely adore animals and the comfort, joy, and love they provide to us humans. What better way to spend my free time than to spend it with fur babies! I'm currently employed full time as a licensed social worker, and would love to dedicate some of my free time to caring for animals. My work schedule is pretty flexible which would allow me to shift things around. If you're considering booking with me during the week and availabililty listed doesn't match, i recommend reaching out because i may just be able to accommodate it. Weekends are available as well. I offer a good balance of fun and energetic, and calm, relaxed, and secure environment for your animal friends. Communication is extremely important to me, and will ensure that this is the top priority to ensure that you feel at ease allowing your pets to be in my hands.
