About: I grew up on a cattle farm and cared for family pets from a young age. Eight years ago, I adopted a now 110-pound golden retriever named Ted, who is my best friend. My friends often trust me to care for their animals when they go out of town, resting assured their babies will be well taken care of and they will get frequent updates. Through care for my own pet and friends’ animals, I have experience with giant breeds, senior animals, and animals with anxiety problems. I take a compassionate and high-energy approach to animal care and value enrichment and relationship-building with lots of positive reinforcement. I recently graduated with my PhD in clinical psychology and am studying for licensing boards, so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I could be available for walks or drop in visits from 7am-11pm on weeknights and weekends. I do not currently offer any services in my own home at this time without an advanced need and greet because I have my own pup at home.

About: I do this because I truly care. I have experience with all kinds of animals from house pets to the farm. I can provide anything from puppy to senior to care for multiple animals. I have a flexible work schedule and am willing to coordinate with you/your pet’s needs! I stay super organized and am willing to try and suit your needs, whatever they may be! I treat every client, house, and pet with respect and kindness. Although I have welcomed any pet into my home previously, my current apartment does not allow it. I am available for scheduling walking, check-ins (in certain areas), and can provide reliable references for overnight stays/housesitting.

“This was our first time booking with Karina and I have to say, she went above and beyond for our pups! She provided multiple updates with each visit and even sent us pictures! One of our pups is a diabetic and administering his insulin can be quite cumbersome. However, Karina was able to administer his insulin injections without any issues. It was very comforting to know our pups were in such great hands! Not only did she take the best care of our pups, but she cleaned up after they had accidents and even loaded the dishwasher and took the trash out. About: I’ve had dogs a variety of dogs that I’ve taken care of all my life. I have experience with smaller dogs as well as big dogs. I’m always the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. I understand how nerve racking and stressful it can be to find a trusted pet sitter. I make sure to treat all animals that I watch as good as they’re treated in their own home and treat them just as great as one of my own. Pet safety and happiness is always my top priority. I’m currently working from home so I’m available for 24 hour care 7 days a week. My pets are never left alone for more than a few hours at a time if necessary, but not on a regular basis. I have a closed off courtyard in the middle of my building where pets can use the restroom on or off leash. We don’t have a big yard, but pets are welcome to play in the courtyard. I can also walk pets around the block as well if walks are needed during their stays with permission of the parents.
