About: I have owned dogs and cats for 27 years and have learned that each pet is unique and deserving of great love and care. I've trained a puppy, rescued a young dog, given dogs and cats medicine, taken care of an ailing senior animal, gone on long walks and given plenty of belly rubs. I recently left my full-time job to focus on freelancing. This gives me flexibility and lots of time to care for pets. I would like to establish long-term relationships with pets and their owners. About: My family has had cats since I was 13 years old and we’ve fostered and found homes for many strays. I adopted my dog when she was 8 weeks old, 8 years ago. About: Hi, My most recent experience has been long term care for friends and families dogs. I offer to walk dogs multiple times a day, as well as check in multiple times a day. I also offer personalized behavioral training a recommendations. I have particular experience with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and difficulties walking on a leash and getting overwhelmed with various stimuli. Previously, I fostered large dogs with behavioral issues for the SPCA for 5 years. I have experience with dogs that are reactive, anxiety ridden and once with medical issues. I fostered the dogs until the issues are either managed or resolved and they are ready for adoption. I have experience primarily with large dogs. I am used to long walks and hikes with dogs. I primarily keeps dogs on leash but in the right circumstances I will let them off leash. However, I am very picky. I am open to walking l, check-ins and boarding. I’m in class a few times a month and working 1-2 days a week so I have times of availability to care for your pup. About: I currently have two cats who are well taken care of and who I have administered medications to and cleaned up after. I also grew up around dogs and am well versed with handling dogs of different temperaments. I work full time but I am very free on the weekends and after work to care for pets. I am also free around lunch times on Monday and Friday. I am adept at handling cats and dogs in difficult situations. For dogs, I would put them in their crate for a cool down time. For cats, I usually prefer to put them in time out in a room or disengage ntil they are able to not be as overstimulated. I also like to re-direct energy using play so pets do not feel punished for their energy.
