About: I've been a pet owner all my life (dogs and cats!) and have been pet sitting for a few years now. I also spent a summer when I was in college pet sitting for a couple who was traveling. My own pets have always been part of my family and I know how important their physical and mental health is. I have experience with older dogs and know that they may need a little extra consideration and attention. I will treat your pets and your home with the care and respect I would want someone to treat my own. I am available to stay at your house and be with your pet so they are almost never alone. Outside of short trips for groceries or to do other dog walks or check-ins I can be with your pet most of the day or for the full day. I'm a non-smoker and I will not invite anyone else over to your house. I’m happy to walk your dog if they don’t pull strongly and constantly on the leash - I'm good with mild to moderate constant pulling or intermittent strong pulling. Your privacy and security are of the utmost importance to me. I will treat your home and your pet with the care and respect that I would want someone to treat mine. It is a privilege to be allowed into someone's residence to watch over both their home and their pet and I take this responsibility seriously. I will only feed your pet what you have asked me to, no human food or table scraps. Pets can behave differently when their people are gone so I err on the side of caution and am careful about keeping them on leash and being aware when opening doors that they don’t bolt out. On walks I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and wildlife.

“I booked Amrit for a couple of dog walks when I was ill and couldn’t take my dog out. My dog doesn’t always like strangers but he immediately loved her. Very trustworthy. Will book her again. Thank you, Amrit!!”

“Angel takes such great care of our pup! She’s quick to respond and flexible with our schedule. Can tell from the pictures she sends that our dog is happy and enjoys walks with Angel.”

About: We’re a husband-and-wife dynamic duo with a lifelong love for animals! Between the two of us, we’ve cared for a wide range of pets — from dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, rabbits, and ducks to small pets like rats and hamsters. I grew up on a ranch, where my father taught me to love and care for animals of all kinds. My husband grew up surrounded by dogs and small animals, developing his own deep bond with pets. Today, we share our home with three cats and four dogs, and we’re passionate about treating every animal we care for like a member of the family. We’re a husband-and-wife team who both work full time, but we have plenty of availability in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We love starting and ending our days with playtime, walks, and quality care for the pets we look after. Your pets will always get lots of attention, love, and reliable care built into our daily routine. We are current with all of the safety and care procedures for cats and dogs. It is our goal to not only ensure safety and health, but to help your animal feel comfortable and loved.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I am a devoted life-long dog-owner and dog-lover. I have grown up with dogs and couldn't imagine life without them. I am a bona fide "dog person," as any of my friends will tell you. Days with dogs include arroyo walks, neighborhood walks, trips to local parks and dog parks, hiking excursions and swims in the river and mountain creeks. We love to get up in the mountains and explore and run on all the local trails. I am happy to accommodate whatever your dog needs and likes. I love my pups and I know I will love yours too. I look forward to getting to care for your precious four-legged. Thank you for the opportunity! Your pups will be in the best of hands. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am able to spend plenty of quality time with your beloved fur baby. We can figure out a routine that works for I create a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet in my care. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure their routines are followed, their space is comfortable, and they always feel secure and cared for. I give plenty of attention, play, and affection—while respecting each pet’s unique personality and needs.

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I hope to make new memories with your pet if you choose me! I am flexible and willing to work around your dogs schedule and my own. We can work something out to meet both our needs of course. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can be available overnights if needed if you are going away on a trip.

“I really enjoyed meeting Rowan at your previous job at the daycare. It's wonderful to see her embark on her own journey. Bash was delighted to see her too. I truly appreciated her communication skills and the way she took care of Bash during one of his walks. I hope to collaborate with her in the future!”

About: Hi I’m Dana and I would love to take care of your floof baby! I’m from NYC/NJ and moved here with fam 4 years ago, my new favorite quote since moving here is I now understand why the grinch wanted to live alone on a mountain with his dog. 🤣 I have had Old English Sheepdogs since I was born, my first boy would guard my crib at night, so I like to say I am a true lifelong sheepie/dog owner. Since then I have raised 5 from 12 weeks and cared for through old age (7 total) with 2 2.5yo pups currently in home. I am a lifelong animal lover as well and would be happy to cat-sit for you too. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their pets when needed, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and am very passionate about. My life centers around my fur babies’ wellbeing and routine, so I would absolutely love to share my love and experience with you and yours. Being a busy floof mama myself I understand the importance of flexible hours and rates for busy floof parents. Whether you need in-home sitting, extended stays/boarding, play dates at the park, or just some walking, I am here to provide dedicated care and love for your floof babies! I also understand how important trusting someone with your pet is, and I promise to make you and your fur babies feel completely safe and at ease working with me! I’m currently working part-time remotely from home, so I have plenty of time to fully dedicate myself to your pets’ needs. I have 2 of my own but have family avail to take care of them as needed to be available for your pet(s) around the clock! For daycare/overnight boarding I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run and play, and 2 friendly 3yo sheepdogs (65lbs) to keep yours company that adapt to a new dog’s personality and are very friendly w/dogs and ppl. If your pet prefers more special alone time that’s ok too as mine can be put away in a gated area separate from yours and taken care of by family. My home is a very sanitary/clean environment but dogs are allowed on all furniture so don’t worry about them getting into anything. My boy is always getting into mischief so every room is dog proofed so they can’t ingest or destroy anything, plus they will always be supervised. If I am staying at your home or dropping in I will make sure your pets routine stays the same and they have everything they need. I will also provide pictures and text updates throughout the day to always keep you informed and make sure you feel completely confident and comfortable trusting your fur babies with me. Same goes for walks I will use the route tracking so you always know where we are!

About: I will treat your pet like royalty! I have a huge fenced in yard with trees and lots of room to run and play. I work from home and nothing makes me smile more than animals. The animals I watch over I give lots of love and attention, as though they were my own. That’s the honest care and love I bring to each new animal I meet. I've always loved animals. When I was a kid I thought for sure I’d be a vet, or animal researcher or zoologist so I quickly became my neighborhood dog walker, cat sitter, fish feeder, bird watcher, snake charmer, etc. the list could go on! Since then, I have enjoyed sitting for friends and family. I’ll never say no to hanging out with a fur ball. I have experience with small and big dogs. I am active, strong, able to lift 100+ pounds and I love to spend time to really get to know each animal's personality. (I'll give them some serious love and attention.) I will give baths, groom and administer meds with precision. Whatever your dogs unique needs are, I’ll meet them. I also have experience with injured animals and newborns (neighborhood kittens have a way of finding me.) Rest assured your dog will be in good, safe, loving hands. If you happen to have cats, look no further. I adore spending time with the feline kind. I’ve cared for several dogs, cats, horses and rabbits for the majority of my life and love animals. Depending on where you live, I love taking dogs for long walks, and know a lot of the Santa Fe parks or places to exercise - my favorite right now being: Rose Park, Smith Park and Frank S Ortiz Dog Park. Please let me know if your animal has any special needs or medications and instructions for feeding and/or bathing. Please only reach out if your dog is 100% house trained, older than one year and plays well with others. I am not able to dog sit dogs who are not house trained or have aggression issues.

About: Dogs, and all animals, have been an integral part of my life since I was born. I helped to raise 3 wonderful family dogs and one of my own - all whom sadly but lovingly are no longer with us. In MI during high school I started my dog and house sitting business all through word of mouth. That continued after college and has been something I love to do throughout the years. I have experience with training puppies as well as medication administration and support for elderly dogs. I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule to welcome the care of animals into my day. It’s great for all of us to get more walks and cuddles in! I will also listen to what the pet owner feels is best for their pet. We can walk around the neighborhood, go to the dog park, or spend time in the fenced in yard. I am always happy to send photos or messages with updates as needed.

About: I am a friendly neighborhood dog walker, available to care for your pets needs. Reliable, trustworthy, and a good communicator. I'm comfortable with cats as well. I currently work part time, and on my own schedule, so I am available to tailor my schedule to help better suit your pets' needs. I can come in a timely fashion to your home to feed, walk, and provide love and care for your animals. I have my own transportation and can take your animals to the vet in case of an emergency.

It really is priceless to go on travel and not have to worry about my dog. Also, our pup has had severe stomach issues, so she now has a limited diet; Mel has accommodated her diet and is very careful to feed her meals on time. Lastly, not only has Mel been super responsive with us, he voluntarily reaches out with pupdates and photos that brighten our day, when we are missing our pup. If you ever need a dogsitter in the Santa Fe area, Mel is your guy. We are happy clients and appreciate how loved our dog is when in Mel’s care!”
