“We knew we had made the right choice when we met Heather. She was so kind and reliable. We had never left Kiku before but felt so comfortable with Heather. She kept us updated daily and sent photos and a video. We will use Heather again and recommend her services to all. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Thank you Christopher for your help. He was great with communication and he even arrived early for the check ins. I have a 1 year old and she is still potty training and gets anxious while I’m away. She left a surprise, but he was still willing to help and clean it up and I really appreciate that and still felt bad. I’m grateful he took the extra step, thank you.”

About: I have over 8 years of personal experience providing pet and house sitting for multiple clients, caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I also grew up around animals, thanks to my mom working at a pet store, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals beyond just cats and dogs. I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their routines while giving you peace of mind with attentive, loving care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. While I do work full time, caring for animals is a top priority for me. Days typically start and end with two daily walks, plenty of playtime, and enrichment. I have a dog of my own, so my schedule already revolves around making sure pets get exercise, attention, and stimulation through toys, enrichment activities, and downtime for cuddles. I plan my days to ensure every pet in my care receives consistent attention, routine, and love. I provide a safe, animal-friendly environment in my home and always tailor care to each pet’s individual needs. My entire home is animal-friendly, with dog gates and crates available if needed to ensure the comfort and safety of any pets. While my yard is not fenced, we have plenty of space for supervised play and exercise, and all outdoor time is closely monitored. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible and let each pet set the pace. This could mean active play, enrichment time, walks, or quiet cuddles. Every pet is different, and my goal is to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for wherever they are.
About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In college, I took my roommates dogs out for potty breaks and walks when she had classes. In 2021, I stayed for 5 months at a friend's house pet sitting their Chihuahua and cat. I volunteer to walk the dogs at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. I currently am owned by four cats and one spoiled pitbull. I just returned from being a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia. My usual fulltime job is TESOL instructor, and this can be done remotely. I am currently not teaching. I am flexible and willing to conform to whatever your pet needs. I'm willing to follow any directions or care that you require for your pet. As a dog walker, I have the equipment to complete the task. I keep poop bags, dog treats, and extra leashes in my car. If I am in your home, I will be sure to follow your directions and keep you posted with pictures throughout the day.
About: Thank you for choosing us!!! We aim to provide your pet with a luxury home based experience like no other, while keeping their safety a top priority. HERES THE SHORT OF IT (For those busy pet parents who do not have time to read ALL of this information below... seriously, please read all of this info if you have time!!!!) 1. We 100% require your pet to be crate trained!!!! It is for their safety and the safety of others. They will be crated for all meals and for rest times as well as for times when no supervision is available. 2. YOU MUST DESIGNATE A PICK UP AND DROP OFF TIME!!!! I cannot stress how important this is! To keep things rolling smoothly I have to maintain a schedule and routine. Therefore, If you say you need drop off from 8-9AM PLEASE Be here between 8-9AM to avoid having to be worked into the schedule a time that may be inconvenient for you. Same for pick up time! I am flexible and all I ask is for communication if your scheduled arrival or departure times change. 3. Your dog and cat MUST be fully vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines and on some form of flea prevention. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Now, for the pet parents who want a little more detailed info... PLEASE NOTE: Our hours are 7AM - 7PM Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5:30PM Saturday and Sunday We have school aged children who go to bed early and we try to be respectful of our neighbors by keeping traffic at a minimum late at night and early in the morning! We are certified in pet CPR and first aid. We are also grooming certified. We also have a certification in animal psychology, so rest assured that we are trained to read animal behaviors and mannerisms to keep your pets as safe and happy as possible. Our main focus is cats and dogs, however we have personal experience with caged animals as well as farm livestock. We have extensive experience with reptiles, mainly snakes and geckos but are open to caring for any type of pet as long as you can provide us with basic care instructions. We have two children who live in the home and play an active roll in the enrichment and care of your pets. While our kids know what is and is not tolerated and acceptable around pets, they are still fun, noisy children, so it is important that your pet be tolerant of kids in order for them to be happy and comfortable here. Our resident dogs are both well mannered and socialized. They love to play hard all day and snuggle at night. We also have resident cats who mingle well with other dogs, but are also content in her own space. So don’t fret if your dog is cat reactive, we can accommodate that, just please let us know upon booking so we can be sure to have our cats secured prior to your arrival. We currently offer boarding and daycare services and are home the majority of the day. Each dog (or siblings) will be given their own private space for feedings, quiet times and bed time. We STRICTLY REQUIRE your dogs be crate trained. If we find that your pet is not able to safely tolerate a crate we will unfortunately have to ask that you make alternative arrangements for them. Our entire home is available for your pets to enjoy and we also have a large fenced in yard as well as a 340 square foot detached recreation room for rainy day play and movie nights! Our yard is accessible from the home to the recreation room, therefore your pets will never leave a secured area from the time they step through the front door at drop off until the time they leave with you at pick up. We allow free flow from the home to the yard at your pets leisure, therefore we can easily accommodate elderly dogs or puppies who may need more frequent potty breaks. All pets in our care are required to have age appropriate vaccinations as well as be current on some form of flea and tick preventative. We do treat our yard monthly for pests, however we live in rural Randolph county and are surrounded by woods and farms. All rates are on a 24 hour rolling period. Time needed over the 24 hour period will result in a daycare charge added to your booking. Please specify your pick up and drop off times at the time of booking so we can properly accommodate you and your pet. You will be required to fill out a new client form prior to your first drop off. We cannot wait to meet you and your pets and are so honored to have the opportunity to serve our community! We are home full time with the exception of a few hours a day to run errands to commute our kids to and from school. We attempt to provide the same routine for your pet as you’d provide at your own home. Pets are allowed freedom to come inside the home to rest or to freely go outside to our fenced in yard for play time and potty breaks.
“Jennifer was wonderful! She took excellent care of my pups and kept me informed with pupdates. I loved seeing the pictures. She was super flexible with my last minute changes. I would definitely recommend her.”

About: Hi! My name is Haley! My mom and I have two dogs, Blaney and Eli, and we love them more than anything else in this world. We adopted both of them when they were puppies. Blaney is a 4 year old pitbull lab mix (don't worry, I adore pitbulls) who has a ton of energy, so I’m prepared to deal with higher-energy breeds as well as puppies. We don’t quite know what breed Eli is, but we’re pretty sure he’s a husky collie mix. He’s 5 years old and is just the most loving dog I’ve ever met. Those two dogs genuinely are my heart, and I promise to take care of your pets like I’d want someone to take care of mine. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved pets for a few days, and I’m here to make that change go as smoothly as possible for your animals because I know mine would want the same thing. I’m considering going back to school and receiving the education I’d need to either become a vet tech or work in emergency animal rescue. I really cannot see myself going into a career field where animals are not present because my passion for them is so strong. I am currently taking a break from college, so I have lots of time and a pretty flexible schedule. I can easily accommodate you and your fur baby’s needs! I am available Monday-Sunday and on some holidays. Drop in visits will not only include whatever services are asked of me (such as feeding, walking, cleaning litter box, etc.), but they will also entail me giving your fur baby tons of attention. I’ll also make sure to provide lots of pics to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. For overnight stays in clients homes, I am happy to discuss any needs of your household and will gladly follow your expectations for my time in your space.

Your dog will be very well-taken care of and I will meet all of your requests and needs! I have two dogs of my own. They are the biggest blessing of my life. One is a senior dog and the other being a puppy. They have different schedules and routines so I make sure I stick to their schedules daily so they can remain comfortable always! I make sure they stick to a healthy lifestyle by being walked regularly, groomed monthly, a healthy diet and cuddles every single day!! Being a dog parent is the best part of my life! If your dog stays in my home, I will make sure I ask for any requests and/or concerns that you might have! I will make sure that you are comfortable with having other dogs in the house as well. Your dogs schedule and how they are most comfortable is the most important thing to me so anything that you ask for or request to make sure is done, WILL get done! I will regularly walk them if that is okay with you as I do that for my dogs regularly. Dog parks are loved in our home so an adventure could be awaiting! I will build up trust with you and your pet so that you never have to look again! Your dog will be very comfortable and loved if they ever stay with me!!
