“Kristal and her family are awesome! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little worried leaving Gunther for 5 days over christmas and more so when she had mentioned she takes many dogs at a time this time of year. But being last minute, I needed someone. All of her other reviews were good and so I made the leap of faith. I am so glad I did. Kristal provided daily updates and pictures. Extremely flexible and easy to work with on pick up/dropoffs and has fair and comparable prices as anyone else on the app. She even went above and beyond to buy all the dogs there a small christmas stocking with treats and a toy in it. Between her and her husband, and their several kids and all the other dogs. Your pet will get constant love and attention. Gunther will definitely be going back here anytime I need to head out of town. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Thank you so much Kristal for taking such good care of Gunther and constantly putting my mind at easy.”

“Starla and her family were loving and caring with Lola. She replied inmediately to all my texts and sent constant pictures of Lola. I will surely leave Lola with her again. Thanks!”

“Rover is a bit confusing to pay through because I am old and have developed trust issues with online payments. The Sitter on the other hand was like a trusted family member. The pics and video kept us informed and comfortable with our brief separation. We will be using this service again soon.”

“I found Christopher to be genuine, caring and professional. Rudy isn’t quick to warm up to people, and he adjusted well to Christopher’s home. Christopher seemed take each dog’s needs into account to make sure everyone was cared for comfortable.”

“Phoenix and Walter had their first stay with Ro last week for 6 days. She offered a nice meet and greet that allowed me to very feel comfortable leaving my pups with a complete stranger. Ro seems knowledgeable and compassionate about caring for animals and has a nice fenced in backyard for them to run and play. My pups didn't even seem excited to see me when I came to pick them up. Hoping to use her services again in the future.”

“I had a great experience with Emily & Adam! They took excellent care of Newt while I was away and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. I would absolutely book again!”

“Melany was great! She sent lots of pictures of Forrest everyday, and she even kept him for an extra night when our plans didn't go as expected for pickup. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up. Thanks Melany!”

“Brittany is wonderful!! She took amazing care of our furbaby and kept us updated regularly including with pics… we highly recommend her services and will definitely use her again on our next vacation!”

“Dessie took great care of our dogs. She took them to the dog park and sent us updates daily. She also gave us a nice bag of treats, doggie bags, and a nice letter! I could tell my dogs were super happy with their stay and well taken care of”

About: Hi, I’m Kelsey! 🐾 I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I have five dogs of my own and volunteer with a local dog rescue, so caring for dogs is a huge part of my everyday life. Through rescue, I’ve cared for dogs that were scared, neglected, underweight, recovering from surgery, learning to trust people again, and everything in between. Seeing those dogs come out of their shells and finally feel safe is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever experienced. It’s taught me to be patient, pay attention to the little things, and understand that every dog has different needs. When your dog stays with me, they’re treated like one of my own. Whether they’re energetic and love to play or they’re more laid-back and just want someone to hang out with, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your dog because I feel the same way about mine. That’s why I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is simple: I want your dog to have so much fun and feel so at home that they’re excited to come back for their next stay. I’d love to meet you and your pup! ❤️🐾 I work remotely from home, so your dog won’t be left alone all day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Because I board in my home, I can keep a close eye on each dog and make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and sticking to their normal routine as much as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have five friendly dogs of my own who are well-socialized, and I’m very experienced introducing new dogs thanks to my work with a local rescue. Every introduction is done slowly and based on each dog’s personality and comfort level. I have experience caring for puppies, seniors, rescue dogs, and dogs with special routines or medications. If your dog prefers their own space, I’m happy to separate dogs, crate when requested, or follow whatever routine helps them feel most at home. I believe boarding should feel like a home, not a kennel. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and excited to come back for another visit.
“Big thanks to Sarah for caring for our Rudy on such short notice due to a sitter cancellation. She welcomed him and even allowed our spoiled baby to sleep on the bed.”

“I can’t thank Brooke enough for taking such amazing care of Nyla while I was away on my cruise! She made the whole process seamless from start to finish. I never had to worry because she kept me updated with plenty of adorable pictures and made sure Nyla was loved and well cared for every step of the way. It gave me such peace of mind to know Nyla was in such good hands. Highly recommend Brooke she’s truly the best!”

“Thank you, Victoria, for taking such great care of Moon! She truly understands dogs and treats them like family. I highly recommend her, especially for dog boarding.”

“Rudy had a great overnight stay with Mary. She is a good communicator and sent me pics which I appreciated getting. Mary is a great new resource to me especially since she is only 5 minutes from my home. Thanks again, Mary!”

About: I’ve taken care of my pup since July 2021. July, 2022 I took care of my dad’s dog (along with my own) for 9 days. I’m on hand for my dad when he has to go out of town unexpectedly so his dog is cared for. I currently work full time. My job is hybrid, meaning I’m in an office 3 days and work remote 2. I am available most weekends and evenings the days I work from home. I live in a townhouse, so for walks I use a leash. I do also have space for crates, if your dog needs one. Due to my living space, it may be more comfortable for your pet to stay in their home.
“Thank you June for taking such great care of my two pups. You made me and them feel at ease as soon as we walked that the door. I especially enjoyed the pics and videos to let me know how they are doing.”

“Chris did everything we asked. Although our cat, Kiku, was a ninja at disappearing, Chris kept her litter box clean and her food and water bowls full. He kept us informed and was always in touch. I would recommend his services.”

“Karina did a wonderful job caring for our senior cat. She was responsible and had good communication, so we felt our cat was in good hands while we were away. She also took the initiative to clean the litter box without my asking, which was very thoughtful. Thank you, Karina!”

“We had such a great experience with our cat sitter! She took wonderful care of Penny and Chance while we were away and gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were being looked after. Everything went smoothly, the girls were happy and well cared for when we got home, and we’d absolutely trust her to watch them again. Highly recommend! 🐾🤍”

About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In 2021, I spent 5 months a friend's house with their cat and dog. I volunteer at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. I am currently owned by three Siamese cats and one Tuxedo. I have mastered the art of litter box cleaning and pill popping. I also understand that every cat is an individual and requires something different. I'd love to get to know your kitties.
“Talia did an awesome job with our sweet babies! They were quite nervous and she gave them reassurance and space in a calm environment. She was very communicative with me and made me feel comfortable leaving our fur babies with her! ❤️”

“My cats were well cared for while I was away for 2 weeks. They can be needy and high maintenance, so I deeply appreciate all the care that went into every visit. Lola gave great detail about how my cats were acting and how she played with them. She also included lots of pictures to ease any nerves about being away from my precious fur babies. I would definitely rebook!”

“Briea rocks! She took care of my 8 mos old kitten Karly for 10 days. I was a first-timer @ lvng my pet so Briea was extra-patient w/me. I'm giving her the best compliment I can: I've already rebooked her for later this month. Thx Briea!”
“Home drop in went well, after we got our communication straight.. Martini's first drop in and happy he responded well to the sitter. A true life saver when you're away and pup needs a potty break.”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m not just a pet lover. I’m a vet student in the making. Caring for animals isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s part of my future career. I take the time to really get to know each pet’s personality and needs, whether that’s helping a puppy burn off energy and learn basic manners, or giving a senior pet the extra patience, comfort, and gentle care they deserve. Because I’m passionate about animal health, I pay close attention to things like eating habits, energy levels, and behavior changes, so I can spot if something seems off and communicate that to owners right away. I’m also comfortable handling a variety of breeds, temperaments, and special needs.nFor me, pet sitting isn’t just “watching” animals it’s making sure they’re safe, happy, and thriving, while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in caring, capable hands. Pet care is something I fit naturally into my day. My mornings usually start with feeding, fresh water, and a walk or some playtime to make sure pets start the day happy and active. If I have classes, I plan my schedule so I can come by for potty breaks, belly rubs, and some one on one time in between. In the evenings, I love taking longer walks, heading to a park, or just spending time playing or relaxing together. Weekends are perfect for extra adventures like exploring trails, visiting pet-friendly spots, or giving them some extra grooming and attention. For me, pets aren’t something I try to “fit in” around my day they’re part of it. I love making sure they get the care, attention, and love they need, no matter how busy my schedule gets. Whether in my own home or in a client’s home, my priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for pets. I pay close attention to a pet’s personality, habits, and routines so I can adapt my care to their comfort level, whether that means providing a quiet, calm environment for shy pets or engaging in active play for more energetic ones. I also make it a point to send regular updates, photos, and notes to owners so they feel reassured and connected while they’re away. In my own home, I designate safe areas for rest, play, and meals, and I make sure fresh water is always available. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely everything from where the pet sleeps to how they like their walks so the pet’s routine is not disrupted. My goal is for every pet to feel secure, cared for, and happy, no matter the environment.

About: I started off pet sitting small I had two regular customers. I would watch two cats for one and a dog for another. I have always owned a dog or cat. And would watch close friends and families pets. Then took the leap of faith and start with Rover. I do take same day bookings as long as I'm not full. I do stay busy have a few repeat clients already. I will work with you 100% and communicate 100%. Being reliable is key and communication is key. Daily routine for dogs or cats that are being boarded. Cats will always be in a safe designated area away from dogs if they are boarded. They get fed in the morning and evening normally 8am and 5pm or whatever the client wants. They go potty really early and throughout the day and their last potty break is normally around 10-11pm. They pretty much do whatever and just have a great time playing with other pets and making them feel at home. They are allowed on beds and furniture. You will always get updates daily and pictures. They will go on walks also. Now in home visits is whatever you as the client wants. I leave it up to you. Normally they get spoiled and loved on and go outside fed whatever you need. They also get very spoiled and pampered while being boarded. Safety and cleanliness is my top priority. I slowly and monitor every dogs behavior that is staying just to make sure they all get along. I always feed each dog separately as some are food aggressive. Your dogs bowls get clean after each meal and sent home clean. Floors get sanitized each day and vacuumed. Their dog toys, blankets and dog beds get washed before they leave so they are nice and clean. Dog poop gets picked up out of the yard daily. I do have indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor the dogs if gone.

“very happy & relieved that my dogs did so well in my absence as I thought Homer might be depressed, but he was much happier getting to stay with his brother. I love that they had a big back yard to play in even though it rained a lot.”
“Stephanie, Matt & their boys are amazing. Jake was very happy their while we were in the Spain & Italy for 18 days. They made him feel at home. I don't think he wanted to leave but did. Was Lost for a couple of days without the boys and dogs to play with. Thank you all so much. Highly recommend them to take great care of our Jake!”
