About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In 2021, I spent 5 months a friend's house with their cat and dog. I volunteer at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. About: My mom was a vet tech growing up and I have been around dogs of all sizes my whole life. I was raised in a home where every dog deserves a chance, no matter their health or their behavior and it has carried over with me into adulthood. Whether it is doggy day care, house sitting, or in-home boarding, I have experience in doing them all. I am local to parks, and I have a nice sized back yard that is perfect for playtime. I can tend to whatever the dogs may need energy level wise. I also enjoy walking all dogs when I exercise. Once play time is over, we have plenty of space in the house for relaxing and sleeping. I am home most of the time, so the dogs won’t be stuck alone for hours on end. I work from home, so there will not be much of a time that the dogs will be alone. I can cater to whatever the dogs need. I do prefer a crate trained dog for if/when I do leave the home for safety for both my home and the dog itself. The back yard is a huge hit for the dogs when I dog sit them. I am able to separate dogs if I have multiple, if needed. We have plenty of trails to walk, a local park with a walking track. Dogs are allowed on furniture. I have plenty of bones, toys, blankets, and anything to make your dog happy and comfortable.
About: Caring for animals is second nature to me, I first began when I was 8 years old, helping my church members at their farms, which turned into me helping my babysitter with pet sitting when she would watch me. When I get home from work I let my girls back outside, check to make sure none of my stuffed animals have been shredded by the younger baby, feed them a small dinner, and I start getting them ready for bed, at 9pm they get in their beds have a snack, watch TV with me and go to sleep. When I am pet sitting for friends, family, & neighbors I feed and walk their pets at the provided scheduled time and I also make a point to spend at least 5-10 minutes playing with them and getting them some interaction for the day, as I’m sure they miss their family. My goal is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of fur babies, reptile friends, farm family members, and bird companions when their primary family needs someone to care for them.

“We have never left our pup anywhere except at our house and with sitters we knew. Using Rover was something new but I’m glad I did. Brittany was amazing with our pup who at times is very stubborn about what he wants and needs. I was very nervous to leave him but it was the best decision. He had a great time with Brittany and was definitely spoiled by having someone home all the time. He didn’t even want to get up from his afternoon nap to head home. I can definitely recommend Brittany and we will be using her again. She was also very responsive and sent me pictures and messages throughout the day to let me know how he was doing. 5 stars all the way!”

“Christopher is super amazing and patient. He was patient and carefully monitored Ricky’s energy around the other dogs. He is well communicative which is definitely a plus when it’s your first time formally leaving your fur baby in the care of someone you don’t know.
