“Katy is so wonderful that I have to leave a second review. We’ve been going through a big transition and Katy continues to meet each of my boys where they are at. Her hyper awareness, consideration, and kindness allow me to travel and not stress about any of the boys.”

“Katie took excellent care of our dogs and our home. We felt very comfortable with her and the dogs took to her right away. She took them for walks and sent pictures too! Thank you Katie!”

“Bob treated our cat like his own family member. Very kind, attentive, punctual, and provided consistent updates regarding our cat. Thankful to have a reliable house-sitter!”

“Allegra was absolutely wonderful when house sitting our dog franklin over a long weekend. She took on the additional challenge of caring for him when he was on heartworm treatment and did a great job attending to his special medication and low exercise needs. We came back to a happy dog and we know he was well cared for. She sent multiple picture updates each day. We will definitely contact her again in the future to watch franklin!”

“Smooth meet-up & sitting experience, and great level of communication! She was reliable and trustworthy in taking care of our pups and the house. Would definitely work with you again and looking forward to it!”

“Hannah house sat for my two dogs and two cats while we were out of town. This was the first time we left the dogs with a house sitter. I normally board them. She did a fantastic job and all of the animals were happy and healthy upon our return. She regularly send pictures to keep their anxious mom happy. I would recommend her services to anyone.”
“Ann was so great! Haze LOVES her. She accommodated to Hazel’s separation anxiety and other quirks so well and sent plenty of updates and pictures. My flight was delayed and Ann was able to stay an extra night, we really appreciate her flexibility!”

“Nate did an excellent job watching our pup while we were gone for a week. He was patient and affectionate with her and took her with him when he went out and about. He even was cool with starting super early in the morning and finishing late at night! We’ll definitely be calling on him again.”

About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.
“Samantha is a very good worker. She is very responsable and she is always on time. She took care of Rokko very well and Rokko was very happy since the first moment. We appreciated her work very much.”

“Grace was very responsible and responsive from the meet and greet to wrapping up the stay. Grace stayed with our two pups and cat for a weekend and everything went smoothly. Our one dog was recovering from an IVDD flareup with some special care needs and Grace handled everything perfectly.”

“We’re so grateful to Shaina for housesitting over a long (and unexpectedly extended) vacation! We returned to a well-kept home and three happy and healthy pets. Throughout, Shaina was helpful, communicative, flexible, and brimming with cute pictures of our babies. 🙏🏻🙏🏻”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with Jess! My dog is always on my mind when I’m away for her, and I knew she was in great hands and I didn’t have to worry! Jess sends pictures and great descriptions of activities and keeps you informed a few times a day. Incredibly professional, and will definitely be booking her in the future! Thanks so much, Jess!”

“Abigail was incredible! She sent so many photos and videos while I was gone, I knew my cat was in excellent hands so I could enjoy my vacation. My apartment was spotless when I came back and she was super flexible when I needed to change the time I was coming home. I would 100% book again!”

“Taylor was a great sitter for our two dogs. She was respectful and responsive and willing to video chat with me before she came to watch them. We would definitely book her again!”

Glen Oak Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ann has taken care of my dogs and cats several times and always does a fantastic job! She was great with both my anxious 4 year old Goldie and my rambunctious 10 month old puppy, meeting their individual needs with great care. She is great at communicating and letting me know everything is well in hand. Highly recommend!

Alaina has dog sat for us many times, and our two Labrador puppies are always so excited to see her! They are completely comfortable around her—so much so that they happily curl up and fall asleep right beside her. She is also incredibly flexible and kindly agreed to come 30 minutes early when our plans changed, which we really appreciated. We always feel at ease knowing our pups are in such caring and fun hands!

Robert saved the day! Well, a few days actually. I am very grateful that he was able to watch my pups after another sitter cancelled pretty close to my trip. He was very forthcoming right from the beginning about how he would be able to help and what wasn't realistic for his schedule and we were able to sort something out that worked for all involved. My dogs (including the more timid one) seemed to respond well to him right away upon meeting. During the trip, he sent updates and loads of pictures, which was very much appreciated. And left the light on for my late return without me having to ask, which was great because I wouldn't have remembered to ask! I felt really good about this experience and would happily recommend Robert.
Sheridan had no problem learning how to give my dog shots of insulin & she was willing to get up very early to take care of his diabetic needs. She was very communicative and kind, and we felt so comfortable leaving our 12 year old blind dog with her. You can tell she was super comfortable caring for him, and we truly appreciated her genuine care and extra effort he required at certain times. I highly recommend Sheridan to watch any pet!

Maureen did a wonderful job caring for our 2 dogs over several days. She kept our dogs happy with multiple play times, inside and out. Very attentive to their routines and special diet for one dog. Very reliable, dogs loved her and very communicative with updates and photos.
Ashley was an incredible sitter for our dog Ziggy while we were out of town. Ziggy is a senior dog who has recently lost his vision and also requires insulin injections, so we needed someone we could trust. Ashley handled everything with such kindness, responsibility, and attention to detail. She stayed at our home and kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Ziggy was comfortable, well cared for, and getting lots of love. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust with Ziggy’s more complex needs. Ashley went above and beyond, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter, especially for pets who need a little extra care. Thank you!

Kaitlyn is absolutely incredible!! We left our pup with her for 2 weeks while we were on vacation, and she was so well cared for! We got regular updates and photos, great communication, and our dog had an absolute blast with Kaitlyn! Couldn’t recommend her enough, she is our go-to sitter!!
