My name is Katy, and I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy! I recently moved back home after a year long residency in Wisconsin. I have helped care for our family's 5 miniature schnauzers over the past 15 years, from puppy-hood to senior stage. During that time I participated in a few pet training classes with them. I have also had experience with pet sitting for family friends', including staying at their house for several nights while they were on vacation.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience with crating dogs and helping ensure their routine is as minimally disrupted as possible when staying in their home. I try to meet them where they are at with their level of comfort and how much attention they want from me. I have experience walking several dogs at once safely. I am also BLS certified, so if an emergency occurred I would be able to act swiftly to help ensure the pet's safety.
Ratings and reviews
Kaitlin was wonderful with my high-needs rescue doe, Joannie. First, she communicated quickly and clearly. As I made (unfortunately) last minute changes, Kaitlin was understanding and flexible. When I returned home from my day away, my dog was calm and clearly at ease; Kaitlin's the first outside-of-family dog sitter I've used, and it was a huge relief to find her.
Kaitlyn was great with our older dog and kitten, sent us updates regularly! We returned to happy pets and a tidy house!
Kaitlyn is the reason I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. ❤️
Our home & animals were well cared for and the place was left in better shape than we left it. Daily pics and happy animals. We’re sad Kaitlyn isn’t staying in the area for long because we’d definitely book her again.
We had a great experience with Kaitlyn! We needed a pet sitter last minute. She got back to us right away, and took great care of our two cats.
Kaitlyn was communicative and responsive while we were out of town. House was tidy upon our return!

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, currently in the Madison area for a residency program focused on heart and lung patients. While I work 40 hours a week (7:30am-4:00pm M-F), I would love to help care for pets after my workday is done and on the weekends!
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsKaitlyn can host up to 1 drop-in per day
- I'd love to know if there are any special needs or preferences ahead of time. Also knowing how they response to other animals (particularly if on a walk). I have some training in managing dogs on a leash, but that has mostly been with smaller dogs (<30lbs).
