I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I provided daily enrichment and care to dogs, cleaning cages, kennels, serving meals and fresh water, and providing exercise and playtime. About: I've always loved spending time with dogs since I was a kid. Raising and training Remy, a Vizsla male with unlimited energy (who is now 5), has fast tracked my dog care experience. He's a LOT of dog and I absolutely love it. A few years ago, I started caring for dogs over Rover. It's been a wonderful experience for us, and I've especially enjoyed learning how to communicate with dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personality types. Cats are good people too! For cats I'm happy to provide drop-in services and potentially house sitting if it works with my schedule. I'm in between professions now working a lot from home on Long Island. I have a flexible schedule over this summer in particular. I'm especially keen to take on dog walking clients and check-ins, though boarding or day care is possible depending on the circumstances. I'm happy to adjust to you and your dog's needs in terms of exercise, exposure to other dogs, and on/off leash comfort levels. I'm currently living in a house with a fenced in yard and plenty of comfy spots for dogs to relax. (Your dog would be allowed everywhere ours is, which is everywhere.) “My husband and I left our three cats for five days. Carina did a famous job of taking care of them! They made sure that our babies had food, water, excise, and clean litter boxes while we were away. Every time Carina came over they took the cutest pictures of our cats, too! They were very communicative with us the whole time we were traveling. They told us when they came and would provide a written update every time they visited! When we came back from our trip our cats were calm and happy. When we go away in the future, we will be booking with Carina again! They were flexible, kind, friendly, and attentive to our cats needs.
