I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I provided daily enrichment and care to dogs, cleaning cages, kennels, serving meals and fresh water, and providing exercise and playtime. About: I've always loved spending time with dogs since I was a kid. Raising and training Remy, a Vizsla male with unlimited energy (who is now 5), has fast tracked my dog care experience. He's a LOT of dog and I absolutely love it. A few years ago, I started caring for dogs over Rover. It's been a wonderful experience for us, and I've especially enjoyed learning how to communicate with dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personality types. Cats are good people too! For cats I'm happy to provide drop-in services and potentially house sitting if it works with my schedule. I'm in between professions now working a lot from home on Long Island. I have a flexible schedule over this summer in particular. I'm especially keen to take on dog walking clients and check-ins, though boarding or day care is possible depending on the circumstances. I'm happy to adjust to you and your dog's needs in terms of exercise, exposure to other dogs, and on/off leash comfort levels. I'm currently living in a house with a fenced in yard and plenty of comfy spots for dogs to relax. (Your dog would be allowed everywhere ours is, which is everywhere.) About: I've taken care of my family's dogs since young, One Samoyed, one Husky, and one Chihuahua. I was always the one spotting heath concerns and training them because if I didn't, no one would! Firm believer in positive reinforcement techniques and keeping all animals enriched. I love surrounding myself with and working around animals. They are very therapeutic to me so I make sure my day revolves around their care! Always more than willing to spend an entire day with an animal to make sure they're tended to. I make sure my dogs are able to go the bathrooms frequently as they need, and look for behavior cues in order to understand what they want. I also make sure that if two animals don't get along, they are separated and given ample distractions. I also make sure to give food at a certain time and get animals into a routine so that they aren't constantly eating and gain wait. Exercise and enrichment is also big to me.

About: I’m a pet owner of 3 dogs. My parents have relied on me to care for them while at work for many years. I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have previous experience volunteering at an animal shelter. I’m currently a college student so for this summer I’m available every single day of the week between the hours for 9am and 6 pm. Before taking on a new client I always make sure it is a good fit. I will get to know your pets and make sure to follow any special instructions that the owner has.

About: I currently own a 15 year old havanese girl and look after her daily whenever my parents are at work during the week. I also have walked/watched neighborhood dogs in the past and will never pass up the opportunity to watch a dog no matter the breed! (although my favorite is dachshunds) I currently caddie on the weekends, so anytime during the week is perfect for me. I am free anytime during the week for the most part, availability on weekends can vary. My house is empty during the day during the week, it’s just me and my havanese who's super friendly. My mom comes home in the afternoon along with my sister. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have multiple dog beds they can chill out and nap on if tired. In terms of sitting in a client’s home, I keep my regimen the same as my own home, respecting whatever rules my client communicates to me.

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, administering medication, and providing lots of love and attention. I’m available for boarding on weekends, Wednesdays, and weekdays after 5 PM. I’m flexible and always happy to accommodate your pet’s needs during those times.
