“We hired Shayna to walk our dogs while we were out of town for a week and my mom was house sitting. My mom said the dogs would wait for Shayna every day at the door. They have had past walkers they would hide from so that says everything! She was great at sending photos and communicating! Would def hire again!”

About: I have volunteered for a couple of years now with predominantly dogs. Taking them on walks and giving them lots of love and attention. Supporting them when they need it most. If there’s an animal around, chances are I’m petting it! I have both dogs and cats at my house and enjoy hanging out with them every chance I get. I love going on walks with my dogs on a nice day and can spend hours throwing a cat toy around! For me my cats do not go outside and if I walk my dog they stay on leashes. I check that they’re fed and that they have water and don’t mind taking my dogs outside regularly to make sure they can potty. In a clients house their animals safety and comfortability is most important to me.

About: I can't remember ever being without a dog or cat! Caring for, running, walking, hiking and sitting for all pets has always been my passion. I'm available anytime after 7 am to visit with, walk, hike or run your pet. I'm also available to just sit with and snuggle your pet anytime. I will come to your home and pick up your pet and exercise them, or visit in your home respecting your desires and pet's limitations.

“This lady is the best at her job. She comes three days a week to walk my black lab. He loves her so much!! She is geat at communicating and responses quickly to messages. If you need a dog walker she is your gal.”

About: I love all dogs! Big or small! Fast or slow! . I Love to hike and be outdoors with pups or just chill at home. I always make sure we are in a dog welcomed and safe place. My family also fosters dogs so I have even more experience with caring for the cute animals! I could not think of a better job than walking, watching, feeding and caring for dogs. Never met a dog I didn’t like. I love dogs of all sizes. If your dog tackles me it would be an honor. And of course dogs do come with the responsibility of cleaning up after which I have no problem with! Always ready to drop what I’m doing and care for your dogs! Call me when you need me! Open schedule! Let’s meet and see if I’m the right person to care for your favorite animal! I have two beautiful fur babies! They are rather large but well trained. I believe exercise is a big deal when it comes to making the dogs happy and healthy! I will treat your fur baby like my own!

About: Pet sitting for a long time for friends, family, and neighbors. Watched animals with all types of quirks. Experience with elder, disabled, puppies and kittens, and more! Able to watch for extended periods of time, and multiple pets at the same time. I am a student so pet and housesitting is no inconvenience. I can accommodate any requests for dogs to be let out, fed, given meds, and any other needs. I also clean up after myself and the animal/animals

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends for a few years now, it’s one of my favorite past times. I form a bond with most pets I take care of because I give them a lot of attention, I respect them, I take time to get to know your pets’ personalities, and I listen to how their owners want their pets treated and trained. My favorite activities to do with dogs are going on hikes and playing fetch. I love giving cats cuddles and letting them relax with me while watching shows and movies. I’m a natural animal lover and will put my heart into making sure your furry family members are happy and healthy! If you need me with your pet 24/7 and don’t want them left alone, I can watch them on Saturdays, and Sundays. If your pet can be alone part/ most of the day, I can be a lot more available. I can do overnights any day of the week. Usually I do not house sit or pet sit on holidays. If I am available on a holiday, rates will be a little bit higher. Glance at my calendar to see which holidays I can accommodate for, typically it will be the minor ones. I keep my calendar updated 1 month in advance (current month and the month after). If you need to book with me further in advance, my calendar may not reflect an accurate availability so go ahead and message me! :) I will be able to take care of your pets in your home, I can’t watch them in my home. Thank you for your understanding!

“Abby was great! She responded right away and was on time. She was great with both of my dogs and Carl really seemed to enjoy going for a walk with her. I will definitely use her in the future if needed!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. For the last 15 years, I’ve owned very high energy hunting dogs, and love being able to take them on long walks, hiking in the mountains, or just play ball in the back yard. I’ll help with any kind of training/socialization a puppy or dog might need, you just have to let me know if there are behaviors you need help working on. I’m happy to drop in to check on dogs and cats of any size. If I can help out by taking a pup for a wash or anything extra like that, just ask. Willing to help transport, can come feed and medicate, as well as hang out and play for a while. I do have my own pups, and so I cannot do overnight stays at this time. I just moved back to the Grand Junction area and am working at settling into life back in the valley. I’d love to help you out with your animals, big and small while I have the time ☺️ My pups are my family, they go every where with me (unless it’s to someone else’s house, of course). They get daily off leash runs in the north desert or at the family farm in Fruita. I’m not offering boarding at this time because of my own pups and lack of space.

About: I was raised around all kinds of livestock animals, as well as puppies and kittens. Trained my personal dogs, as well as cared for senior dogs, with special diets or needs. I have also cared for pregnant pets. I am a vet assistant, I know how to care for wounds as well. Choose to drop off or for me to pick up and bring to my home, your pups will have plenty of room to play with mine, and run in the back yard! I have a larger fenced back yard, 3 personal dogs, one cat that likes to be outside during the day, an area to crate your dog, large water bowl out back. Plenty of room to play some games of fetch!

I then worked at Wag Resort as a kennel tech, and moved to Casa De Pets as the grooming shop manager. I am certified in pet CPR and first aide and have learned about pack mentality and dog behaviors. I have a black lab and a border collie myself. I hope to meet you and your pets and spend some quality time with them. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am available Friday afternoons and all weekend. I can do drop in visits to your home and also come over on the weekend to walk your pets. I ensure to follow your pets normal schedule and stick to their normal routine that they are used to. I can administer medication at their normal time, and come to your home to check on them multiple times a day.

About: Have been around cats and dogs my whole life and recently raised a kitten from 12 weeks to 1 year old. Love to walk and exercise and am very passionate about the well being of your animals! “Isaiah has been our pet sitter for the last 2 year. He is so loved by us and the animals! Very kind and trust worthy young man.”

Jessica H.
“Jessica has been a close friend for many years. Professionally, she cares for newborns and young children as a respiratory therapist, but her compassion doesn't end when her shift does. It often extends to animals, too. Whether she’s feeling guilty about leaving her cat to go out to dinner or hugging stray dogs she meets while traveling, Jessica’s heart overflows with love. She is deeply responsible, nurturing, and attentive, any pet would be lucky to be in her care.”
